paradox_n or_o else_o absurd_a contradiction_n they_o may_v do_v well_o to_o clear_v themselves_o better_a and_o speak_v plain_a and_o direct_o to_o the_o thing_n in_o hand_n 1._o the_o question_n be_v still_o where_o we_o read_v of_o a_o perfect_a law_n of_o god_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o where_o it_o be_v make_v the_o rule_n and_o ground_n of_o the_o saint_n obedience_n 2._o and_o the_o question_n be_v whether_o the_o law_n in_o the_o heart_n be_v under_o another_o covenant_n distinct_a from_o the_o perfect_a law_n of_o god_n as_o declare_v in_o the_o scripture_n 3._o and_o still_o the_o question_n be_v what_o we_o be_v to_o understand_v by_o the_o law_n of_o god_n in_o the_o heart_n which_o be_v the_o same_o with_o scripture_n whether_o the_o ten_o commandment_n write_v in_o table_n of_o stone_n only_o or_o all_o those_o positive_a precept_n of_o gospel_n worship_n and_o obedience_n conjoin_v with_o they_o also_o 4._o and_o still_o the_o question_n be_v whether_o the_o law_n in_o the_o heart_n without_o the_o use_n of_o scripture_n make_v any_o evangelical_a discovery_n of_o the_o person_n nature_n and_o office_n of_o christ_n as_o he_o be_v redeemer_n of_o lose_a man_n 5._o and_o whether_o all_o shall_v be_v save_v that_o have_v the_o law_n of_o god_n write_v in_o their_o heart_n by_o virtue_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n or_o any_o be_v save_v that_o live_v to_o year_n of_o discretion_n that_o know_v not_o christ_n as_o the_o scripture_n testify_v of_o he_o in_o order_n to_o his_o come_n in_o the_o world_n to_o save_v sinner_n although_o these_o query_n have_v be_v put_v to_o they_o they_o will_v not_o answer_v plain_o and_o direct_o but_o dark_o and_o with_o deceit_n of_o purpose_n to_o evade_v the_o strength_n of_o truth_n that_o be_v against_o may_v see_v it_o prove_v what_o i_o have_v accuse_v they_o with_o in_o deny_v the_o ordinance_n and_o administration_n of_o the_o gospel_n church_n be_v true_a and_o yet_o this_o impudent_a liar_n tell_v i_o it_o be_v a_o lie_a slander_n they_o will_v render_v i_o a_o liar_n for_o tell_v they_o the_o truth_n but_o it_o seem_v they_o can_v rather_o and_o with_o more_o ease_n deny_v the_o accusation_n then_o prove_v themselves_o saint_n and_o stand_v to_o it_o thus_o when_o they_o be_v pinch_v they_o will_v say_v and_o unsay_v or_o any_o thing_n to_o evade_v but_o while_o you_o deny_v the_o ordinance_n before_o mention_v i_o say_v you_o be_v none_o of_o god_n saint_n but_o be_v apostate_n backslider_n that_o have_v depart_v from_o the_o live_a god_n in_o transgress_v the_o law_n change_v his_o ordinance_n and_o break_v the_o everlasting_a covenant_n isa_n 24.5_o but_o i_o shall_v come_v to_o the_o next_o you_o accuse_v i_o of_o belie_v you_o with_o and_o that_o be_v suspect_v you_o to_o be_v under_o the_o crime_n of_o deny_v the_o holy_a scripture_n to_o be_v a_o perfect_a rule_n of_o faith_n and_o life_n you_o say_v you_o deny_v the_o crime_n and_o witness_v they_o in_o their_o place_n with_o the_o spirit_n that_o give_v they_o forth_o which_o be_v a_o perfect_a rule_n of_o faith_n and_o life_n as_o joh._n 16.13_o anew_o you_o deny_v the_o crime_n but_o own_o the_o thing_n by_o assert_v the_o spirit_n to_o be_v a_o perfect_a rule_n of_o faith_n and_o life_n for_o if_o the_o spirit_n immediate_o be_v a_o perfect_a rule_n to_o we_o now_o of_o faith_n and_o life_n you_o judge_v i_o for_o call_v they_o the_o rule_n of_o faith_n and_o obedience_n and_o yet_o you_o witness_v the_o scripture_n in_o their_o place_n that_o be_v you_o witness_v that_o there_o be_v such_o writing_n but_o not_o to_o any_o such_o end_n and_o purpose_n as_o to_o be_v a_o rule_n to_o know_v god_n and_o live_v unto_o he_o as_o the_o question_n intend_v the_o spirit_n you_o make_v
