and_o religious_a course_n and_o practice_n of_o our_o forefather_n those_o who_o god_n have_v make_v example_n for_o our_o imitation_n that_o even_o he_o according_a to_o the_o common_a rate_n shall_v be_v account_v honest_a &_o religious_a enough_o and_o one_o that_o have_v make_v sufficient_a proceed_n in_o the_o school_n of_o christianity_n that_o be_v no_o open_a notorious_a and_o heinous_a offender_n not_o taint_v with_o any_o gross_a and_o capital_a crime_n theft_n adultery_n drunkenness_n extortion_n oppression_n no_o common_a railer_n or_o slanderer_n of_o other_o no_o malicious_a detractor_n no_o troublesome_a contentious_a person_n but_o one_o of_o a_o free_a and_o ingenuous_a disposition_n of_o a_o civil_a carriage_n and_o commendable_a behaviour_n one_o that_o live_v quiet_o and_o friendly_a among_o his_o neighbour_n and_o be_v careful_a of_o outward_a observance_n which_o either_o law_n or_o some_o other_o sinister_a respect_n draw_v he_o unto_o and_o which_o a_o mere_a pagan_a &_o heathen_a may_v perform_v as_o well_o as_o he_o though_o he_o be_v far_o from_o the_o truth_n of_o religion_n neither_o fear_v god_n nor_o work_a righteousness_n but_o instruct_v of_o his_o family_n yea_o although_o in_o rearguard_n of_o zeal_n he_o be_v of_o a_o cold_a temper_n than_o the_o lukewarm_a laodicean_n ever_o be_v even_o almost_o ashamed_a of_o that_o mean_n be_v never_o more_o plentiful_o afford_v unto_o any_o than_o they_o be_v now_o and_o through_o the_o grace_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n have_v be_v a_o long_a time_n it_o be_v woeful_a to_o see_v and_o consider_v the_o great_a change_n and_o alteration_n which_o now_o if_o we_o have_v eye_n we_o can_v but_o see_v almost_o in_o every_o place_n among_o all_o sort_n and_o degree_n of_o man_n what_o a_o general_a defection_n as_o it_o be_v be_v there_o from_o the_o piety_n devotion_n innocence_n simplicity_n and_o godly_a pureness_n the_o holy_a conversation_n and_o religious_a practice_n the_o zeal_n integrity_n sincerity_n unfeigned_a love_n and_o charity_n and_o all_o those_o excellent_a virtue_n and_o grace_n of_o the_o holy_a man_n of_o god_n that_o have_v be_v before_o we_o o_o bless_a lord_n as_o thou_o have_v set_v the_o life_n of_o many_o of_o thy_o saint_n and_o servant_n as_o a_o ensample_n before_o my_o eye_n that_o i_o shall_v be_v a_o follower_n of_o they_o and_o and_o conscionable_a discharge_n of_o all_o those_o duty_n which_o he_o require_v of_o he_o where_o be_v the_o faith_n of_o abraham_n by_o which_o as_o he_o well_o deserve_v to_o be_v account_v the_o to_o undergo_v much_o labour_n and_o toil_n and_o to_o endure_v great_a hardship_n and_o to_o pass_v through_o many_o difficulty_n in_o the_o earnestness_n of_o their_o desire_n to_o attain_v unto_o that_o whereof_o notwithstanding_o they_o fail_v oft_o time_n and_o come_v short_a of_o their_o hope_n and_o expectation_n let_v god_n who_o word_n be_v truth_n and_o who_o never_o fail_v any_o in_o that_o which_o he_o promise_v unto_o they_o nor_o deceive_v they_o that_o rest_n upon_o he_o and_o give_v credit_n unto_o his_o word_n but_o satisfi_v they_o most_o abundant_o and_o return_v more_o unto_o they_o than_o they_o do_v either_o expect_v or_o can_v desire_v let_v god_n even_o that_o gracious_a and_o bountiful_a god_n with_o who_o be_v the_o treasury_n of_o all_o good_a thing_n call_v they_o and_o promise_v unto_o they_o the_o unspeakable_a riches_n of_o celestial_a and_o heavenly_a thing_n such_o as_o be_v most_o excellent_a and_o glorious_a far_o pass_v the_o most_o desirable_a thing_n of_o this_o world_n and_o such_o as_o shall_v never_o fade_v nor_o be_v any_o way_n diminish_v or_o once_o subject_a unto_o any_o change_n or_o alteration_n yet_o they_o have_v no_o heart_n to_o come_v unto_o he_o or_o to_o follow_v he_o but_o be_v exceed_o heavy_a and_o drowsy_a yea_o very_a unapt_a and_o untoward_a unto_o that_o which_o be_v so_o great_o for_o their_o good_a and_o in_o which_o alone_o consist_v true_a blessedness_n and_o eternal_a felicity_n and_o happiness_n o_o lord_n let_v i_o never_o be_v so_o foolish_a as_o the_o man_n of_o this_o world_n be_v in_o who_o there_o be_v no_o understanding_n let_v i_o be_v more_o careful_a to_o serve_v thou_o than_o they_o be_v to_o serve_v the_o world_n even_o that_o curse_a mammon_n which_o they_o make_v their_o god_n let_v i_o labour_v more_o for_o spiritual_a and_o heavenly_a thing_n such_o as_o shall_v remain_v and_o abide_v for_o ever_o then_o for_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v carnal_a and_o earthly_a and_o such_o as_o be_v of_o no_o continuance_n but_o shall_v quick_o perish_v and_o pass_v away_o as_o a_o shadow_n and_o be_v quite_o forget_v even_o as_o if_o they_o have_v never_o be_v yea_o let_v i_o always_o prefer_v that_o inestimable_a price_n of_o glory_n that_o chief_a that_o unchangeable_a and_o everlasting_a good_a which_o thou_o have_v promise_v and_o prepare_v for_o thy_o saint_n in_o that_o celestial_a kingdom_n which_o i_o daily_o expect_v and_o hope_v for_o before_o all_o the_o allure_a and_o deceitful_a vanity_n the_o seem_a and_o suppose_a good_a yea_o all_o the_o most_o precious_a and_o glorious_a thing_n of_o this_o world_n whatsoever_o wherewith_o those_o that_o be_v earthly-minded_n be_v so_o great_o enamour_v and_o wherein_o they_o place_v the_o height_n of_o their_o false_a and_o imaginary_a felicity_n and_o happiness_n the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v the_o life_n of_o the_o soul_n as_o be_v the_o body_n without_o the_o soul_n so_o be_v the_o soul_n without_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n which_o be_v the_o life_n thereof_o if_o there_o be_v a_o separation_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n what_o be_v his_o body_n but_o a_o dead_a and_o a_o liveles_a corpse_n or_o carcase_n have_v no_o sense_n or_o motion_n it_o can_v once_o breathe_v or_o stir_v itself_o nor_o put_v forth_o any_o power_n for_o the_o performance_n of_o the_o least_o action_n so_o be_v it_o with_o the_o soul_n of_o every_o one_o in_o who_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v want_v or_o from_o who_o it_o be_v depart_v there_o be_v no_o life_n no_o vigour_n no_o power_n or_o soul_n which_o be_v without_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o so_o destitute_a of_o the_o life_n of_o grace_n can_v show_v forth_o any_o certain_a sign_n and_o effect_n of_o a_o spiritual_a life_n o_o lord_n i_o have_v find_v by_o experience_n what_o a_o deadness_n there_o be_v upon_o i_o if_o thou_o at_o any_o time_n withdrawe_v thy_o spirit_n and_o do_v not_o cause_v it_o to_o work_v effectual_o upon_o my_o soul_n without_o the_o continual_a presence_n and_o assistance_n thereof_o i_o be_o not_o able_a to_o do_v no_o not_o to_o will_n or_o desire_v in_o any_o sort_n that_o which_o be_v good_a
