for_o as_o the_o heathen_a man_n can_v say_v he_o be_v valiant_a not_o only_o who_o kill_v lion_n &_o bear_n and_o wild_a beast_n but_o he_o who_o overcome_v his_o own_o passion_n so_o in_o christ_n christ_n nor_o no_o evil_a in_o any_o thing_n but_o in_o himself_o this_o keep_v he_o in_o the_o manger_n and_o among_o poor_a shepherd_n 1._o how_o far_o then_o be_v we_o from_o christ_n birth_n or_o way_n who_o only_o seek_v to_o be_v great_a in_o the_o world_n which_o all_o strive_v at_o it_o be_v not_o a_o manger_n or_o a_o stable_n that_o will_v fit_v they_o but_o like_o lord_n of_o the_o earth_n seek_v pre-eminence_n this_o poverty_n of_o christ_n become_v a_o stone_n to_o they_o who_o nothing_o can_v please_v but_o riches_n and_o greatness_n 2._o other_o who_o imagine_v themselves_o to_o be_v bear_v of_o god_n because_o of_o this_o and_o that_o good_a quality_n and_o still_o strain_n at_o high_a thing_n thereby_o to_o draw_v near_o to_o god_n but_o this_o way_n they_o be_v far_o of_o for_o all_o god_n people_n be_v bear_v in_o humility_n and_o live_v lowly_a and_o humble_o even_o in_o the_o stable_n that_o be_v well_o please_v with_o any_o thing_n and_o so_o advance_v by_o god_n free_a gift_n for_o which_o they_o praise_v he_o 3._o what_o though_o we_o be_v base_a and_o fool_n in_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o world_n and_o that_o we_o want_v the_o glory_n thereof_o it_o be_v embrace_v this_o mystery_n here_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o life_n here_o be_v the_o book_n of_o the_o generation_n of_o jesus_n christ_n before_o prophesy_v now_o accomplish_v here_o note_v the_o truth_n and_o certainty_n of_o god_n promise_n so_o that_o no_o certainty_n to_o man_n heart_n in_o any_o thing_n but_o in_o the_o live_a word_n of_o god_n and_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o promise_n believe_v this_o abide_v all_o thing_n else_o will_v fail_v psal_n 26._o thy_o mercy_n reach_v to_o the_o heaven_n and_o thy_o truth_n into_o the_o cloud_n abraham_n have_v no_o hold_n leave_v but_o this_o and_o david_n no_o comfort_n in_o affliction_n but_o this_o word_n that_o sustain_v he_o we_o have_v a_o sure_a word_n of_o the_o prophet_n which_o though_o the_o father_n in_o reason_n may_v thing_n have_v their_o turn_n and_o change_n according_a to_o their_o uncertain_a nature_n and_o disposition_n and_o alter_v with_o fullness_n and_o emptiness_n with_o want_n &_o riches_n according_a
