benefit_n and_o for_o the_o good_a of_o other_o but_o the_o foolishness_n of_o fool_n be_v folly_n that_o be_v be_v they_o poor_a or_o be_v they_o rich_a they_o will_v show_v themselves_o fool_n &_o their_o folly_n be_v all_o the_o ornament_n they_o have_v to_o honour_v they_o as_o a_o ape_n will_v be_v a_o ape_n though_o man_n put_v he_o into_o a_o golden_a coat_n so_o a_o wicked_a nabal_n they_o exceed_o to_o the_o dishonour_n of_o god_n and_o to_o the_o hurt_n both_o of_o themselves_o and_o other_o this_o i_o conceive_v be_v the_o full_a meaning_n of_o this_o proverb_n yet_o some_o make_v this_o only_a to_o be_v the_o meaning_n of_o the_o last_o clause_n that_o the_o foolishness_n of_o fool_n that_o be_v of_o wicked_a man_n be_v folly_n that_o be_v folly_n indeed_o there_o be_v no_o folly_n like_a unto_o that_o folly_n verse_n 25._o a_o true_a witness_n deliver_v soul_n etc._n etc._n that_o be_v by_o testify_v the_o truth_n he_o often_o deliver_v many_o innocent_a man_n from_o those_o danger_n wherein_o they_o be_v for_o their_o estate_n or_o otherwise_o by_o some_o false_a accusation_n or_o he_o deliver_v soul_n that_o be_v the_o life_n of_o man_n when_o through_o then_o as_o god_n shall_v enable_v they_o &_o give_v they_o utterance_n nor_o shall_v they_o always_o speak_v what_o they_o purpose_v but_o what_o god_n shall_v cause_v they_o to_o speak_v a_o dross_n do_v which_o silly_a people_n may_v take_v to_o be_v true_a silver_n yet_o 1._o in_o truth_n they_o be_v both_o worthless_a and_o contemptible_a no_o better_a than_o dross_n upon_o earth_n or_o dirt_n and_o 2._o such_o counterfeit_n show_v of_o love_n will_v be_v find_v to_o be_v but_o a_o cover_n of_o a_o malicious_a heart_n in_o regard_n that_o as_o the_o dross_n do_v not_o change_v the_o potsherd_a and_o therefore_o either_o by_o the_o moulder_n away_o of_o the_o dross_n or_o the_o break_n of_o the_o potsherd_a it_o will_v be_v ere_o long_o discover_v what_o it_o be_v so_o neither_o do_v such_o flatter_a language_n change_v the_o heart_n but_o it_o remain_v full_a of_o malice_n which_o will_v quick_o some_o way_n or_o other_o discover_v itself_o verse_n 24._o he_o that_o hate_v dissemble_v with_o his_o lip_n etc._n etc._n to_o wit_n as_o conceal_v his_o hatred_n and_o make_v perhaps_o a_o show_n of_o great_a love_n and_o lay_v up_o deceit_n within_o he_o that_o be_v he_o intend_v thereby_o to_o deceive_v he_o and_o plot_v to_o bring_v some_o mischief_n close_o and_o cunning_o
