14_a 2_o pet._n 1._o 1-12_a etc._n etc._n this_o word_n of_o faith_n and_o so_o this_o faith_n that_o be_v of_o the_o operation_n of_o god_n be_v not_o without_o its_o work_n it_o work_v through_o love_n as_o from_o the_o consideration_n of_o god_n love_n in_o christ_n as_o the_o foundation_n and_o fountain_n of_o it_o whence_o it_o have_v all_o its_o fresh_a spring_n so_o in_o a_o channel_n of_o love_n towards_o god_n and_o man_n it_o favour_v therefore_o of_o ignorance_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n and_o our_o saviour_n and_o of_o the_o preciousness_n of_o this_o faith_n of_o but_o we_o must_v also_o look_v for_o the_o work_n of_o the_o spirit_n inward_o to_o quicken_v save_v and_o sanctify_v we_o such_o say_n at_o least_o signify_v that_o the_o work_n of_o the_o spirit_n for_o quicken_a save_a and_o sanctify_v the_o soul_n be_v another_o thing_n beside_o and_o divide_v from_o this_o testimony_n and_o not_o certain_o meet_v with_o in_o this_o way_n of_o believe_a and_o have_v the_o heart_n and_o mind_n exercise_v and_o stay_v on_o that_o name_n and_o grace_n of_o his_o believe_v so_o that_o a_o man_n may_v with_o his_o heart_n believe_v and_o confess_v that_o god_n have_v raise_v christ_n from_o the_o dead_a and_o yet_o not_o therein_o experiment_n the_o quicken_a and_o save_a work_n of_o the_o spirit_n contrary_a to_o rom._n 10._o 9_o 10._o 1_o cor._n 15._o and_o so_o do_v indeed_o lead_v believer_n have_v begin_v in_o the_o spirit_n to_o seek_v to_o be_v make_v perfect_a by_o the_o flesh_n true_a it_o be_v a_o man_n may_v say_v he_o have_v faith_n when_o yet_o his_o faith_n have_v no_o work_n nor_o spirit_n leave_v in_o it_o only_o a_o empty_a and_o idle_a opinionate_v such_o a_o thing_n or_o profess_v to_o believe_v it_o as_o true_a without_o any_o hearty_a mindfulness_n of_o the_o importance_n or_o grace_n of_o the_o truth_n he_o pretend_v to_o cleeve_v and_o of_o such_o a_o faith_n james_n say_v can_v it_o save_v faith_n if_o it_o have_v no_o work_n be_v dead_a a_o spiritless_a and_o unprofitable_a thing_n be_v alone_o yea_o even_o that_o faith_n be_v signify_v by_o he_o to_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o dead_a carcase_n pretence_n outside_n profession_n or_o show_v of_o that_o which_o indeed_o be_v not_o or_o not_o with_o the_o heart_n not_o keep_v in_o believe_a remembrance_n and_o mindfulness_n for_o even_o there_o he_o signify_v that_o if_o it_o be_v unfeigned_a or_o with_o the_o heart_n according_a to_o the_o discovery_n give_v less_o or_o more_o it_o will_v work_v save_o like_v as_o the_o same_o proposition_n believe_v to_o be_v true_a by_o the_o devil_n work_v horror_n because_o they_o speak_v as_o much_o against_o they_o as_o they_o do_v for_o man_n even_o so_o man_n any_o of_o mankind_n believe_v with_o
