distemper_n and_o disorderly_a carriage_n of_o some_o particular_a man_n in_o their_o distinct_a way_n which_o have_v a_o special_a influence_n upon_o our_o spiritual_a affair_n to_o make_v we_o as_o the_o confuse_a bvilder_n of_o babylon_n the_o author_n of_o our_o own_o dissipation_n and_o ruin_n i_o shall_v now_o mention_v a_o few_o disorderly_a course_n which_o be_v incident_a unto_o all_o man_n more_o or_o less_o and_o seem_v to_o discompose_v the_o healthful_a constitution_n of_o our_o whole_a society_n in_o the_o management_n of_o all_o outward_a affair_n and_o here_o although_o i_o be_o not_o ignorant_a that_o the_o distemper_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o the_o disorder_n of_o the_o behaviour_n be_v thing_n very_o far_o distant_a in_o their_o nature_n and_o distinct_a in_o their_o property_n yet_o because_o in_o matter_n of_o outward_a concernment_n they_o be_v seldom_o separate_a and_o go_v hand_n in_o hand_n they_o beget_v interchangeable_o and_o be_v beget_v by_o each_o other_o therefore_o and_o for_o brevity_n sake_n i_o shall_v not_o heed_v their_o distinction_n at_o this_o time_n but_o leave_v it_o to_o every_o one_o thought_n in_o that_o which_o i_o shall_v offer_v here_o then_o let_v i_o speak_v of_o the_o distemper_n and_o disorderlinesse_n proceed_v from_o these_o follow_a root_n of_o bitterness_n viz_o from_o envy_n from_o jealousy_n and_o fear_n christian_a as_o to_o engage_v he_o to_o forge_v and_o cast_v off_o the_o duty_n and_o the_o affection_n of_o divine_a love_n towards_o any_o or_o not_o to_o endeavour_v the_o common_a welfare_n of_o they_o do_v mingle_v a_o perverse_a spirit_n among_o the_o unsound_a professor_n of_o christianity_n i_o do_v not_o think_v or_o say_v that_o all_o minister_n on_o all_o side_n be_v thus_o set_v or_o set_v themselves_o a_o work_n for_o that_o will_v be_v a_o great_a untruth_n nor_o do_v i_o take_v upon_o i_o to_o judge_v any_o in_o particular_a or_o to_o judge_v in_o general_a of_o all_o those_o that_o take_v upon_o they_o to_o meddle_v in_o state_n matter_n that_o they_o do_v it_o against_o the_o dictate_v of_o their_o conscience_n for_o that_o will_v be_v a_o presumptuous_a and_o conscience_n with_o state_n matter_n to_o take_v part_n with_o one_o and_o oppose_v another_o party_n therein_o and_o do_v not_o study_v direct_o to_o take_v off_o the_o edge_n of_o all_o man_n carnal_a animosity_n by_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n that_o all_o may_v be_v direct_v to_o build_v up_o one_o another_o in_o all_o truth_n and_o righteousness_n towards_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n i_o say_v so_o many_o of_o the_o ministry_n as_o take_v this_o course_n let_v it_o be_v upon_o what_o pretence_n soever_o be_v in_o a_o manifest_a error_n and_o dangerous_a snare_n of_o satan_n from_o which_o i_o shall_v entreat_v the_o lord_n in_o mercy_n to_o deliver_v they_o and_o that_o i_o may_v not_o be_v want_v to_o my_o duty_n and_o affection_n to_o help_v they_o out_o of_o it_o according_a to_o that_o rule_n of_o charity_n whosoever_o censure_v any_o fault_n aught_o to_o show_v the_o way_n how_o it_o shall_v be_v redress_v i_o shall_v in_o the_o measure_n which_o i_o have_v receive_v this_o task_n and_o that_o out_o of_o scrupulositie_n of_o conscience_n raise_v upon_o these_o and_o such_o like_a consideration_n of_o the_o inexpediency_n of_o the_o thing_n towards_o the_o good_a
