afford_v this_o that_o the_o end_n of_o christ_n come_n be_v to_o purge_v out_o this_o dross_n therefore_o if_o this_o be_v not_o do_v all_o performance_n new_a moon_n sacrifice_n etc._n etc._n be_v in_o vain_a conclude_v therefore_o that_o except_o there_o be_v a_o universal_a change_n both_o of_o the_o object_n from_o evil_a to_o all_o good_a and_o of_o the_o subject_n in_o all_o the_o faculty_n except_o this_o be_v wrought_v in_o you_o you_o shall_v sure_o die_v for_o it_o the_o lord_n will_v not_o forgive_v you_o or_o hear_v in_o heaven_n when_o you_o cry_v though_o you_o shed_v never_o so_o many_o false_a tear_n if_o this_o be_v the_o condition_n upon_o which_o mercy_n be_v sufficient_a suspend_v this_o also_o follow_v that_o good_a purpose_n and_o intention_n will_v not_o serve_v the_o turn_n not_o but_o that_o these_o must_v be_v precedent_n to_o every_o man_n turn_v and_o when_o they_o be_v true_a they_o do_v bring_v forth_o this_o effect_n of_o turn_v from_o all_o evil_a way_n whatsoever_o but_o as_o there_o be_v a_o purpose_n which_o be_v true_a and_o the_o ground_n of_o sincerity_n so_o there_o be_v false_a one_o also_o the_o true_a always_o continue_v and_o bring_v forth_o constant_a endeavour_n and_o fruit_n but_o the_o other_o leave_v we_o where_o it_o find_v we_o and_o quick_o die_v and_o wither_v there_o be_v so_o much_o in_o a_o carnal_a man_n as_o may_v breed_v good_a purpose_n and_o desire_n and_o resolution_n viz._n natural_a conscience_n and_o desire_n of_o preservation_n and_o salvation_n man_n which_o two_o put_v together_o work_v serious_a purpose_n but_o this_o be_v all_o but_o flesh_n still_o be_v not_o able_a to_o work_v so_o through_o a_o change_n as_o we_o see_v in_o moorish_a ground_n and_o in_o a_o rot_a fenny_a soil_n that_o it_o bring_v forth_o broad_a long_a grass_n which_o soon_o wither_v and_o simile_n decay_n neither_o be_v it_o sweet_a nor_o useful_a so_o be_v it_o with_o conscience_n enlighten_v to_o see_v a_o man_n duty_n and_o self-love_n they_o produce_v good_a purpose_n and_o in_o show_v great_a and_o serious_a but_o yet_o such_o as_o the_o people_n there_o express_v deut._n 5._o 29._o who_o purpose_v to_o keep_v the_o 29._o law_n but_o oh_o say_v god_n that_o there_o be_v a_o heart_n to_o fear_v i_o as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v the_o soil_n the_o ground_n be_v not_o good_a for_o these_o purpose_n to_o grow_v in_o therefore_o they_o will_v sure_o wither_v there_o want_v a_o heart_n change_v to_o afford_v root_n to_o they_o and_o to_o nourish_v they_o the_o next_o point_n be_v gather_v from_o the_o order_n of_o the_o word_n turn_v from_o our_o evil_a way_n be_v put_v last_o of_o all_o these_o four_o condition_n because_o all_o the_o other_o do_v but_o make_v way_n for_o this_o all_o the_o other_o prayer_n and_o humiliation_n be_v but_o preparative_n to_o this_o as_o the_o end_n of_o all_o dress_n and_o prune_v of_o tree_n be_v the_o fruit_n and_o the_o end_n of_o plough_v and_o sow_v be_v the_o bring_v forth_o of_o corn_n so_o the_o end_n of_o all_o other_o duty_n be_v turn_v from_o our_o evil_a way_n and_o the_o end_n be_v always_o hard_a omnis_fw-la difficultas_fw-la in_o ipsa_fw-la summitate_fw-la in_o the_o utmost_a pitch_n and_o top_n of_o the_o hill_n this_o be_v the_o utmost_a of_o all_o the_o other_o be_v therefore_o the_o hard_a therefore_o the_o prophet_n urge_v this_o upon_o all_o occasion_n if_o you_o turn_v cease_v to_o do_v evil_a rend_v your_o heart_n then_o will_v i_o leave_v a_o blessing_n behind_o i_o in_o that_o this_o be_v the_o pin_n upon_o
