the_o which_o i_o utter_o deny_v if_o he_o mean_v by_o the_o letter_n any_o part_n of_o scripture_n the_o which_o i_o shall_v make_v appear_v by_o the_o help_n of_o god_n from_o many_o scripture_n by_o preach_v of_o faith_n from_o scripture_n ground_n they_o minister_v life_n to_o those_o that_o be_v spiritual_o slay_v by_o the_o letter_n of_o the_o law_n for_o in_o regard_n that_o no_o flesh_n can_v be_v justify_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n by_o keep_v of_o the_o law_n in_o regard_n they_o can_v fulfil_v it_o in_o every_o point_n and_o therefore_o lie_v under_o death_n and_o condemnation_n spiritual_o i_o mean_v be_v condemn_v by_o it_o in_o their_o soul_n and_o conscience_n and_o as_o it_o be_v bind_v over_o unto_o death_n and_o hell_n without_o hope_n of_o recovery_n thereby_o to_o discern_v of_o spirit_n and_o so_o then_o to_o persuade_v they_o that_o it_o be_v no_o other_o but_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n that_o work_v in_o they_o and_o give_v they_o light_a and_o what_o more_o politic_a way_n can_v satan_n devise_v to_o make_v they_o so_o believe_v then_o to_o move_v and_o incline_v they_o to_o forsake_v their_o gross_a sin_n and_o carry_v themselves_o in_o a_o humble_a selfe-denying_a posture_n like_o holy_a man_n for_o such_o who_o have_v be_v educate_v where_o the_o scripture_n be_v read_v and_o the_o gospel_n preach_v he_o can_v hardly_o deceive_v they_o any_o other_o way_n to_o make_v they_o believe_v that_o he_o be_v not_o satan_n but_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n but_o when_o he_o have_v once_o do_v that_o he_o can_v rule_v at_o pleasure_n and_o act_v they_o at_o pleasure_n in_o all_o other_o respect_n and_o puff_n they_o up_o with_o spiritual_a pride_n and_o imperiousness_n and_o disdain_n of_o other_o and_o to_o think_v themselves_o the_o only_o spirit_v man_n above_o all_o other_o after_o satan_n have_v wrought_v a_o change_n in_o they_o and_o make_v they_o a_o little_a more_o active_a and_o spiritful_a then_o former_o they_o be_v in_o their_o dead_a condition_n but_o than_o what_o ever_o lie_v he_o find_v most_o useful_a for_o maintain_v his_o kingdom_n he_o easy_o persuade_v they_o they_o be_v truth_n zeal_n and_o selfe-deniall_n which_o for_o the_o most_o part_n be_v evident_a in_o they_o and_o therefore_o how_o can_v this_o be_v from_o any_o false_a or_o lie_a spirit_n which_o make_v they_o so_o bold_a and_o confident_a and_o that_o to_o come_v to_o the_o light_n that_o their_o deed_n may_v be_v make_v manifest_a that_o they_o be_v wrought_v in_o god_n and_o they_o be_v so_o expert_a in_o natural_a affection_n accor_v as_o be_v prophesy_v 2_o tim_n 3.3_o and_o those_o like_a bruit_n beast_n make_v to_o be_v take_v and_o to_o be_v destroy_v 2_o pet_n 2.12_o from_o such_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v expect_v no_o more_o than_o love_n for_o they_o shall_v but_o dissemble_v if_o they_o shall_v make_v a_o show_n of_o what_o they_o have_v not_o and_o it_o be_v better_a to_o be_v without_o then_o to_o be_v deceive_v by_o their_o outward_a show_n and_o therefore_o by_o my_o consent_n they_o shall_v never_o be_v persuade_v to_o use_v they_o at_o all_o till_o their_o cordial_a love_n and_o
