though_o he_o be_v full_a of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o of_o faith_n yet_o if_o he_o be_v not_o skill_v in_o humane_a learning_n or_o at_o least_o suppose_a to_o be_v they_o say_v he_o be_v not_o fit_a to_o preach_v the_o gospel_n but_o he_o say_v that_o be_v a_o time_n extraordinary_a the_o disciple_n be_v to_o plant_v the_o gospel_n in_o all_o nation_n and_o probable_o understand_v no_o language_n but_o the_o syrian_a christ_n therefore_o rain_v upon_o they_o cleave_a tongue_n whereby_o they_o be_v capacitate_v to_o preach_v the_o gospel_n to_o all_o people_n and_o nation_n under_o heaven_n page_n 100_o answ._n if_o that_o be_v a_o extraordinary_a time_n and_o occasion_n in_o and_o upon_o which_o tongue_n be_v give_v he_o be_v the_o more_o to_o blame_v for_o infer_v from_o thence_o a_o necessity_n of_o humane_a learning_n in_o ordinary_a time_n and_o upon_o ordinary_a occasion_n he_o shall_v have_v remember_v what_o himself_o say_v page_n 128._o that_o it_o be_v a_o to_o be_v their_o teacher_n and_o to_o guide_v they_o into_o all_o truth_n beside_o the_o apostle_n paul_n write_v to_o the_o church_n at_o ephesus_n 1.17_o among_o who_o be_v of_o one_o tongue_n divine_a revelation_n be_v not_o to_o cease_v but_o to_o continue_v in_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n therefore_o also_o he_o exhort_v the_o thessalonian_n not_o to_o quench_v the_o spirit_n 1_o thes._n 5.19_o but_o he_o say_v it_o will_v be_v presumption_n in_o they_o who_o pretend_v to_o be_v the_o apostle_n successor_n to_o expect_v to_o receive_v all_o gospel_n knowledge_n in_o the_o as_o shall_v believe_v on_o he_o through_o their_o word_n so_o what_o he_o promise_v concern_v send_v the_o comforter_n to_o be_v in_o they_o to_o teach_v they_o to_o take_v of_o he_o and_o show_v it_o unto_o they_o to_o guide_v they_o into_o all_o truth_n and_o to_o abide_v with_o they_o forever_o he_o do_v not_o promise_v with_o restriction_n and_o limitation_n to_o they_o only_o but_o with_o a_o extensive_a relation_n to_o all_o that_o shall_v believe_v on_o he_o this_o appear_v first_o from_o the_o word_n of_o christ_n 7.38_o he_o that_o believe_v on_o i_o as_o the_o scripture_n have_v
