observe_v other_o thing_n from_o it_o but_o now_o i_o forbear_v have_v other_o thing_n to_o speak_v of_o at_o this_o time_n verse_n 20._o and_o there_o be_v a_o certain_a beggar_n name_v lazarus_n which_o be_v lay_v at_o his_o gate_n full_a of_o sore_n this_o verse_n do_v chief_o hold_v forth_o these_o thing_n 1._o that_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n be_v a_o poor_a contemptible_a people_n there_o be_v a_o certain_a beggar_n if_o you_o understand_v the_o word_n beggar_n to_o hold_v forth_o outward_a poverty_n or_o scarcity_n in_o outward_a thing_n the_o saint_n of_o the_o lord_n for_o they_o be_v for_o the_o most_o part_n a_o poor_a despise_a contemptible_a people_n but_o if_o you_o allegorise_v it_o and_o interpret_v it_o thus_o they_o be_v such_o as_o beg_v earnest_o for_o heavenly_a sense_n though_o not_o so_o natural_o gather_v from_o this_o scripture_n 2._o that_o he_o be_v lay_v at_o his_o gate_n full_a of_o sore_n these_o word_n hold_v forth_o the_o distemper_n of_o believer_n say_v he_o be_v full_a of_o sore_n which_o may_v signify_v the_o many_o trouble_n temptation_n persecution_n and_o affliction_n in_o body_n and_o spirit_n which_o they_o meet_v withal_o while_o they_o be_v in_o the_o world_n but_o also_o the_o entertainment_n they_o find_v at_o the_o hand_n of_o those_o ungodly_a one_o who_o live_v upon_o the_o earth_n whereas_o it_o be_v say_v he_o be_v lay_v at_o his_o gate_n full_a of_o sore_n mark_v he_o be_v lay_v at_o his_o gate_n not_o in_o his_o house_n that_o be_v think_v too_o good_a for_o he_o but_o he_o be_v lay_v at_o his_o gate_n full_a of_o sore_n from_o whence_o observe_v that_o the_o ungodly_a world_n do_v not_o desire_v to_o entertain_v and_o receive_v the_o poor_a saint_n of_o god_n into_o their_o house_n if_o they_o must_v needs_o be_v somewhere_o near_o unto_o they_o yet_o they_o shall_v not_o come_v into_o their_o house_n shut_v they_o out_o of_o door_n if_o they_o will_v needs_o be_v near_o we_o let_v they_o find_v to_o love_v drunkard_n strumpet_n dog_n any_o thing_n nay_o to_o serve_v the_o devil_n rather_o than_o to_o have_v love_v and_o friendly_a society_n with_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n moreover_o the_o dog_n come_v and_o lick_v his_o sore_n here_o again_o you_o may_v see_v not_o only_o the_o afflict_a state_n of_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n in_o this_o world_n but_o also_o that_o even_o dog_n themselves_o according_a to_o their_o kind_n be_v more_o favourable_a to_o the_o saint_n than_o the_o sinful_a world_n though_o the_o ungodly_a will_v have_v no_o mercy_n on_o the_o saint_n yet_o it_o be_v order_v so_o that_o these_o creature_n dog_n lion_n etc._n etc._n will_n though_o the_o rich_a man_n will_v not_o entertain_v he_o into_o his_o house_n yet_o his_o dog_n will_v come_v and_o do_v he_o the_o best_a good_a they_o can_v even_o to_o lick_v his_o run_a sore_n it_o be_v thus_o with_o daniel_n when_o the_o world_n be_v mad_a against_o he_o and_o will_v have_v he_o throw_v to_o the_o
