that_o this_o knowledge_n and_o skill_n which_o grow_v and_o rise_v from_o this_o art_n of_o defence_n be_v necessary_a and_o therefore_o i_o say_v that_o when_o upon_o just_a ground_n and_o occasion_n a_o man_n shall_v take_v a_o quarrel_n in_o hand_n and_o shall_v have_v courage_n reason_n boldness_n and_o force_v to_o maintain_v it_o have_v also_o the_o mean_n and_o help_n of_o this_o activity_n aswell_o of_o the_o body_n as_o of_o the_o hand_n and_o the_o foot_n l._n in_o sooth_n by_o that_o which_o you_o say_v it_o seem_v to_o i_o that_o nature_n be_v she_o which_o work_v and_o perform_v all_o and_o not_o art_n because_o that_o from_o nature_n come_v courage_n force_n and_o a_o right_a frame_n and_o aptness_n of_o the_o body_n therefore_o he_o which_o shall_v be_v furnish_v beautiful_a tree_n if_o it_o begin_v once_o to_o grow_v crooked_a and_o be_v not_o holpen_v it_o lose_v all_o his_o beauty_n and_o therefore_o as_o you_o see_v art_n be_v a_o aid_n and_o help_v to_o nature_n so_o that_o one_o have_v those_o good_a part_n and_o ability_n by_o nature_n before_o mention_v yet_o not_o know_v they_o he_o can_v use_v they_o to_o his_o benefit_n but_o by_o the_o mean_n of_o skill_n and_o judgement_n which_o a_o man_n by_o his_o industry_n and_o practice_n attain_v unto_o and_o although_o he_o may_v strike_v right_a and_o cross_a blow_n and_o give_v the_o foin_v and_o thrust_v yet_o these_o be_v not_o guide_v by_o reason_n and_o skill_n may_v as_o well_o harm_v he_o as_o profit_n or_o procure_v he_o any_o advantage_n but_o art_n which_o imitate_v and_o perfit_v nature_n if_o a_o man_n apply_v his_o mind_n thereunto_o by_o many_o experiment_n and_o much_o practice_n will_v make_v he_o skilful_a and_o capable_a of_o great_a perfection_n and_o to_o prove_v that_o this_o be_v true_a we_o see_v little_a infant_n which_o although_o as_o soon_o as_o they_o be_v bear_v they_o have_v a_o tongue_n yet_o they_o can_v speak_v and_o after_o when_o they_o have_v learn_v to_o speak_v yet_o they_o want_v eloquence_n nature_n may_v bestow_v a_o gift_n of_o memory_n which_o when_o it_o be_v accompany_v with_o art_n and_o knowledge_n they_o be_v able_a in_o good_a sort_n to_o express_v their_o mind_n and_o conceit_n how_o can_v you_o be_v skilful_a in_o ride_v if_o you_o have_v not_o learn_v the_o art_n nature_n may_v help_v but_o not_o bring_v to_o perfection_n how_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o you_o shall_v prove_v a_o skilful_a carpenter_n or_o sailor_n if_o you_o have_v not_o by_o practice_n acquaint_v yourself_o with_o those_o thing_n which_o appertain_v thereunto_o how_o can_v a_o man_n be_v a_o professor_n in_o any_o art_n or_o science_n unless_o he_o have_v learn_v it_o first_o himself_o and_o therefore_o they_o which_o make_v so_o small_a reckon_n of_o art_n in_o my_o fancy_n and_o conceit_n in_o this_o respect_n be_v worse_o than_o beast_n especial_o those_o which_o be_v practise_v in_o fight_n in_o which_o a_o man_n you_o shall_v see_v he_o assail_v he_o with_o more_o courage_n and_o fierceness_n than_o another_o which_o have_v be_v beat_v and_o practise_v in_o the_o matter_n but_o you_o shall_v see_v he_o by_o shall_v not_o be_v bind_v to_o answer_v because_o the_o first_o without_o any_o return_n will_v be_v account_v a_o false_a accuser_n and_o a_o liar_n and_o in_o my_o opinion_n it_o be_v a_o more_o honourable_a reputation_n for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v silent_a in_o such_o a_o case_n than_o by_o answer_v to_o seem_v to_o make_v any_o account_n of_o the_o word_n as_o a_o noble_a worthy_a man_n say_v unto_o a_o gentleman_n that_o have_v slander_v he_o that_o he_o will_v neither_o hold_v he_o a_o friend_n nor_o a_o enemy_n not_o yet_o answer_v his_o word_n reckon_v he_o unworthy_a to_o be_v well_o
