the_o heart_n of_o people_n be_v turn_v to_o it_o their_o understanding_n be_v so_o darken_v that_o they_o can_v see_v the_o state_n of_o their_o own_o soul_n much_o less_o understand_v the_o holy_a scripture_n and_o therefore_o we_o need_v not_o care_v what_o such_o can_v say_v or_o do_v against_o we_o who_o true_o fear_v the_o lord_n for_o our_o reward_n be_v from_o he_o and_o we_o have_v good_a cause_n to_o serve_v he_o and_o seek_v to_o exalt_v his_o bless_a truth_n by_o prefer_v it_o above_o all_o thing_n though_o relation_n may_v be_v near_o and_o dear_a yet_o to_o part_v with_o they_o and_o natural_a life_n and_o all_o be_v but_o my_o reasonable_a service_n if_o my_o god_n require_v it_o for_o i_o have_v find_v he_o a_o bountiful_a master_n and_o no_o respecter_n of_o person_n but_o they_o that_o true_o fear_v he_o and_o work_v righteousness_n do_v find_v acceptance_n with_o he_o and_o that_o be_v more_o to_o a_o remnant_n then_o to_o find_v acceptance_n with_o all_o the_o potentate_n of_o the_o world_n for_o their_o favour_n will_v not_o procure_v peace_n with_o god_n neither_o can_v those_o live_v in_o god_n holy_a heart-cleansing_a fear_n that_o offend_v he_o to_o please_v man_n and_o in_o vain_a will_v it_o be_v for_o any_o to_o hope_v to_o die_v in_o favour_n with_o god_n and_o not_o live_v so_o in_o his_o fear_n as_o not_o to_o offend_v he_o and_o notwithstanding_o all_o the_o talk_n of_o love_v the_o lord_n jesus_n and_o fear_v he_o yet_o there_o be_v none_o do_v it_o but_o they_o that_o leave_v off_o do_v evil_a and_o learn_v to_o do_v well_o and_o such_o keep_v his_o holy_a command_n which_o be_v not_o grievous_a but_o joyous_a to_o they_o when_o the_o lord_n do_v enlarge_v their_o heart_n then_o can_v they_o run_v the_o way_n of_o his_o command_n with_o great_a delight_n but_o while_o man_n or_o woman_n stand_v at_o a_o distance_n from_o that_o good_a spirit_n that_o god_n have_v in_o his_o tender_a love_n give_v they_o to_o profit_v withal_o they_o can_v be_v sensible_a of_o the_o lord_n enlarge_n their_o heart_n nor_o of_o his_o work_n in_o they_o both_o to_o will_v and_o to_o do_v of_o his_o own_o good_a pleasure_n therefore_o let_v all_o have_v regard_n to_o the_o work_n of_o god_n holy_a spirit_n in_o their_o own_o heart_n that_o they_o may_v come_v to_o be_v sensible_a of_o the_o goodness_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o the_o mighty_a work_n that_o he_o do_v for_o their_o soul_n and_o from_o a_o live_a experience_n invite_v other_o to_o come_v and_o taste_v and_o see_v for_o themselves_o how_o good_a our_o god_n be_v for_o of_o a_o truth_n he_o be_v good_a unto_o his_o israel_n that_o be_v of_o a_o upright_a heart_n in_o his_o sight_n and_o they_o can_v say_v of_o a_o truth_n that_o one_o day_n in_o his_o court_n be_v better_a than_o a_o thousand_o year_n in_o the_o king_n palace_n and_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v the_o fullness_n of_o our_o soul_n joy_n and_o at_o his_o right_a hand_n be_v durable_a riches_n and_o pleasure_n for_o evermore_o and_o indeed_o it_o be_v weighty_a to_o consider_v how_o many_o be_v prefer_v the_o honour_n of_o man_n before_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n and_o earthly_a riches_n before_o the_o heavenly_a treasure_n and_o how_o eager_o do_v mankind_n press_v after_o outward_a gain_n and_o slight_o esteem_v the_o gain_n of_o godliness_n though_o with_o content_n it_o be_v the_o great_a gain_n of_o all_o but_o my_o dear_a friend_n you_o that_o can_v do_v nothing_o against_o the_o truth_n but_o for_o the_o truth_n i_o leave_v these_o line_n with_o you_o that_o the_o weak_a may_v not_o be_v turn_v out_o of_o the_o way_n nor_o the_o feeble_a cause_v to_o stumble_v by_o any_o false_a asperson_n that_o the_o devil_n through_o his_o instrument_n may_v be_v permit_v to_o cast_v upon_o i_o for_o the_o truth_n sake_n for_o i_o have_v give_v no_o just_a cause_n to_o any_o to_o speak_v evil_a of_o i_o but_o if_o any_o shall_v take_v occasion_n under_o sin_n as_o the_o apostle_n say_v may_v turn_v unto_o that_o which_o be_v to_o say_v the_o enmity_n for_o it_o be_v night_n unto_o every_o one_o it_o be_v the_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n which_o
