which_o be_v report_v of_o they_o be_v mix_v with_o untruth_n therefore_o have_v patience_n a_o little_a and_o by_o the_o lord_n assistance_n i_o shall_v endeavour_v right_o to_o inform_v thou_o and_o so_o far_o as_o i_o be_o allow_v of_o god_n shaâ—l_n also_o seek_v full_o to_o resolve_v thou_o concerning_o they_o but_o thy_o first_o demand_n can_v in_o a_o few_o word_n be_v answer_v but_o afterwards_o it_o may_v more_o full_o yet_o in_o a_o word_n or_o two_o i_o say_v they_o be_v a_o people_n that_o fear_v god_n above_o all_o the_o family_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o that_o do_v worship_n he_o in_o his_o own_o way_n viz._n in_o spirit_n and_o in_o truth_n they_o do_v also_o love_v god_n above_o all_o and_o their_o neighbour_n as_o themselves_o and_o â—_z they_o be_v raise_v up_o from_o death_n to_o life_n about_o eight_o or_o nine_o year_n ago_o and_o since_o the_o year_n 52_o they_o have_v much_o multiply_v and_o increase_v for_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o lord_n have_v be_v and_o to_o this_o day_n do_v rest_n upon_o they_o and_o by_o he_o who_o cause_v they_o to_o multiply_v be_v they_o raise_v up_o for_o this_o very_a end_n and_o purpose_n to_o praise_v and_o magnify_v his_o name_n in_o the_o earth_n who_o be_v god_n over_o all_o bless_v for_o ever_o and_o to_o publish_v his_o live_a truth_n abroad_o that_o his_o salvation_n may_v be_v know_v unto_o the_o end_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o therefore_o have_v he_o manifest_v his_o eternal_a power_n in_o they_o by_o which_o the_o world_n shall_v be_v overturn_v enq._n thoâ—_n speak_v strange_a thing_n oâ—_n they_o which_o if_o i_o know_v that_o thou_o speak_v the_o truth_n i_o will_v become_v one_o of_o they_o for_o unto_o such_o a_o people_n i_o desire_v to_o be_v unite_v res._n thou_o now_o seem_v to_o wonder_n but_o if_o a_o three_o part_n of_o the_o deal_n of_o the_o lord_n with_o they_o be_v declare_v in_o thy_o hear_n than_o thou_o will_v stand_v astonish_v to_o hear_v what_o the_o lord_n have_v do_v for_o they_o but_o peradventure_o thou_o be_v one_o of_o they_o that_o can_v believe_v it_o though_o man_n shall_v declare_v it_o unto_o thou_o and_o whereas_o thou_o â—aisâ—_z â—_z if_o thou_o know_v that_o i_o speak_v the_o truth_n thou_o will_v become_v one_o of_o they_o for_o unto_o such_o a_o people_n thou_o desire_v to_o be_v unite_v etc._n etc._n but_o consider_v it_o be_v not_o a_o easy_a matter_n to_o become_v one_o of_o they_o in_o truth_n and_o to_o be_v unite_v to_o they_o in_o the_o spirit_n yet_o it_o be_v a_o easy_a matter_n to_o come_v among_o they_o and_o to_o conform_v unto_o they_o but_o before_o thou_o become_v one_o of_o they_o and_o unite_v to_o they_o thou_o must_v be_v turn_v from_o darkness_n to_o light_n from_o the_o power_n of_o satan_n unto_o god_n and_o then_o thou_o will_v become_v as_o they_o be_v and_o where_o they_o be_v thou_o will_v be_v also_o and_o then_o thou_o will_v come_v to_o receive_v the_o desire_n of_o thy_o soul_n as_o they_o have_v do_v enq._n thou_o thyself_o giveâ—_z a_o good_a report_n of_o they_o â—ut_o i_o hear_v otherwiâ—e_n abroad_o in_o the_o world_n where_o one_o speak_v well_o of_o they_o there_o be_v a_o hundred_o that_o cry_v out_o against_o they_o and_o their_o error_n and_o blasphemy_n and_o dâ—mnable_a doctrine_n reâ—f_n my_o testimony_n be_v true_a which_o i_o give_v of_o they_o for_o i_o be_o one_o that_o have_v perfect_a understanding_n of_o the_o deal_n of_o the_o lord_n with_o they_o and_o be_o very_o frequent_a among_o they_o and_o far_o be_v it_o from_o i_o to_o extend_v beyond_o the_o truth_n in_o any_o particular_a or_o â—o_z fall_n from_o my_o testimony_n which_o i_o can_v â—eal_v with_o my_o blood_n â—f_n thereunto_o call_v and_o what_o if_o thou_o hear_v thousand_o in_o the_o world_n control_n of_o they_o exclaim_v out_o against_o they_o esteem_v they_o not_o fit_a to_o live_v upon_o the_o earth_n this_o may_v the_o more_o confirm_v thou_o that_o they_o be_v of_o god_n for_o if_o they_o be_v of_o the_o world_n the_o world_n will_v love_v they_o and_o if_o they_o speak_v of_o the_o world_n the_o world_n will_v hear_v they_o but_o because_o the_o lord_n have_v choose_v they_o out_o of_o the_o world_n therefore_o do_v it_o hate_v they_o and_o cry_v out_o against_o their_o doctrine_n and_o opinion_n and_o do_v suppose_v they_o to_o be_v erroneous_a blasphemous_a and_o damnable_a but_o their_o censure_v and_o suppose_v of_o they_o to_o be_v so_o do_v not_o make_v they_o so_o for_o the_o jew_n suppose_v christ_n to_o be_v a_o blasphemer_n but_o he_o be_v not_o the_o same_o generation_n suppose_v the_o apostle_n to_o be_v mover_n of_o sedition_n and_o pestilent_a fellow_n but_o they_o be_v not_o and_o at_o that_o time_n they_o be_v by_o more_o condemn_v then_o own_v as_o many_o example_n may_v be_v produce_v but_o i_o believe_v thou_o thyself_o be_v not_o ignorant_a of_o this_o enq._n no_o no_o but_o i_o only_o tell_v thou_o what_o i_o hear_v of_o this_o people_n i_o myself_o do_v not_o say_v that_o they_o be_v such_o but_o i_o will_v glad_o be_v inform_v of_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o thing_n report_v of_o they_o for_o it_o be_v a_o good_a sign_n to_o i_o that_o all_o man_n speak_v evil_a of_o they_o it_o be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o apparent_a that_o they_o be_v of_o god_n for_o his_o people_n be_v always_o hate_v of_o madâ—_z partaker_n of_o in_o silent_a meeting_n in_o the_o which_o they_o witness_n the_o work_n of_o the_o power_n of_o god_n which_o raise_v the_o life_n thaâ—â—_z be_v immortal_a in_o they_o upon_o which_o theâ—_z feed_v and_o by_o which_o they_o come_v to_o be_v nourish_v up_o unto_o eternal_a life_n so_o that_o the_o motion_n of_o the_o pure_a spirit_n of_o life_n they_o feeâ—_n daily_o which_o be_v not_o obtain_v by_o bodily_a exercise_n which_o profit_v little_a neither_o by_o self-performance_n which_o avail_v not_o but_o by_o wait_v in_o the_o light_n of_o life_n there_o be_v the_o motion_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n know_v and_o there_o be_v the_o sacred_a devotion_n which_o be_v acceptable_a unto_o the_o lord_n and_o that_o devotion_n which_o be_v out_o of_o the_o light_n be_v not_o sacredâ—_z but_o imperfect_a and_o unholy_a enq._n thou_o speak_v so_o promisâ—uously_o when_o thou_o speak_v of_o the_o light_n of_o life_n that_o i_o do_v not_o comprehend_v thou_o will_v thou_o therefore_o tâ—ll_v i_o if_o it_o be_v the_o same_o light_n of_o which_o these_o people_n speak_v so_o much_o and_o show_v i_o what_o that_o â—â—ight_n be_v and_o where_o that_o i_o may_v find_v a_o measure_n â—of_o it_o for_o i_o will_v willing_o comprehend_v it_o res._n if_o my_o word_n be_v obscure_a and_o promiscuous_a to_o thou_o when_o i_o speak_v of_o the_o light_n of_o life_n it_o be_v because_o thy_o understanding_n be_v dark_a for_o my_o word_n be_v word_n of_o plainness_n and_o of_o truth_n yet_o nevertheless_o i_o shall_v endeavour_v to_o speak_v to_o thy_o capacity_n and_o understanding_n that_o i_o be_v not_o as_o a_o barbarian_a to_o thou_o that_o so_o our_o reason_n together_o may_v not_o be_v in_o vain_a neither_o will_v i_o willing_o multiply_v it_o for_o it_o shine_v in_o darkness_n and_o reprove_v the_o work_n of_o darkness_n but_o the_o darkness_n do_v nor_o comprehend_v it_o enq._n be_v there_o not_o great_a contention_n and_o much_o dispute_n betwixt_o these_o people_n and_o busy-minded_a man_n about_o the_o light_n which_o i_o suppose_v be_v tedious_a and_o weariâ—om_n to_o this_o people_n be_v it_o not_o res._n yea_o for_o they_o meet_v with_o many_o of_o these_o busieminded_a man_n that_o seek_v to_o intrude_v into_o the_o knowledge_n of_o high_a thing_n who_o by_o their_o sensual_a wisdom_n seek_v to_o comprehend_v this_o incomprehensible_a light_n and_o the_o more_o they_o strive_v the_o more_o they_o puzzle_v themselves_o and_o although_o they_o be_v puzzle_v and_o confound_v in_o themselves_o yet_o they_o will_v not_o cease_v from_o propound_v frivolous_a question_n about_o the_o light_n many_o of_o which_o have_v be_v full_o answer_v according_a to_o the_o folly_n of_o these_o unruly_a and_o vain_a talker_n lest_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v wise_a in_o their_o own_o conceit_n but_o the_o truth_n be_v these_o people_n will_v many_o time_n avoid_v the_o question_n and_o genealogy_n of_o these_o unreasonable_a man_n because_o they_o see_v they_o to_o be_v unprofitable_a and_o vain_a and_o that_o do_v very_o much_o torment_v they_o enq._n why_o be_v they_o not_o give_v to_o dispute_v for_o if_o the_o truth_n be_v on_o their_o side_n they_o may_v through_o dispute_v overcome_v their_o opposer_n and_o instruct_v they_o that_o wilful_o oppose_v themselves_o and_o so_o do_v much_o good_a thereby_o may_v they_o not_o res._n there_o be_v so_o much_o dispute_v in_o the_o world_n which_o be_v altogether_o unprofitable_a that_o it_o be_v a_o mercy_n that_o they_o be_v no_o more_o incline_v to_o it_o for_o what_o good_a can_v there_o be_v bring_v forth_o by_o it_o see_v that_o by_o the_o generality_n of_o disputer_n the_o holy_a scripture_n be_v not_o a_o little_a wrest_a and_o pervert_v the_o name_n of_o god_n too_o much_o dishonour_v and_o many_o precious_a heart_n disturb_v grieve_a and_o weary_v by_o the_o tedious_a dispute_v which_o be_v among_o man_n and_o by_o reason_n of_o it_o much_o strife_n and_o contention_n be_v bring_v forth_o in_o which_o these_o people_n have_v no_o pleasure_n nor_o contentment_n for_o they_o have_v not_o so_o learned_a christ_n neither_o do_v they_o seek_v by_o way_n of_o dispute_v to_o overcome_v their_o opposer_n who_o they_o with_o meekness_n do_v instruct_v when_o they_o wilful_o oppose_v themselves_o but_o to_o that_o of_o god_n in_o the_o conscience_n of_o their_o opposer_n they_o seek_v to_o be_v make_v manifest_a that_o by_o that_o they_o may_v be_v overcome_v which_o will_v convince_v they_o of_o the_o truth_n which_o these_o people_n have_v on_o their_o side_n and_o by_o turn_v people_n to_o that_o of_o god_n in_o they_o they_o do_v much_o good_a for_o as_o man_n come_v to_o be_v bring_v to_o that_o they_o come_v to_o be_v bring_v off_o from_o dispute_v to_o the_o life_n of_o that_o which_o disputer_n dispute_v upon_o enq._n it_o be_v very_o true_a the_o scripture_n be_v much_o wrest_v by_o disputer_n but_o pray_v thou_o tell_v i_o what_o do_v these_o pâ—ople_n hold_v of_o the_o holy_a scriptureâ—_n it_o be_v report_v they_o do_v deny_v they_o be_v that_o true_a res._n no_o they_o do_v not_o deny_v they_o but_o do_v read_v and_o peruse_v they_o above_o all_o book_n and_o they_o do_v affirm_v that_o they_o be_v able_a to_o make_v a_o man_n wise_a unto_o salvation_n through_o faith_n which_o be_v in_o christ_n jesus_n and_o that_o they_o which_o be_v give_v by_o inspiration_n of_o god_n be_v profitable_a for_o doctrine_n for_o reproof_n for_o correction_n for_o instruction_n in_o righteousness_n etc._o etc._o they_o also_o hold_v they_o to_o be_v a_o true_a declaration_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v most_o sure_o believe_v among_o the_o saint_n of_o old_a who_o be_v eye-witness_n and_o some_o of_o they_o minister_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n of_o which_o the_o holy_a scripture_n do_v testify_v and_o further_o they_o say_v that_o the_o holy_a scripture_n be_v write_v for_o their_o learning_n that_o they_o through_o patience_n and_o comfort_n of_o the_o scripture_n shall_v have_v hope_n this_o with_o much_o more_o they_o affirm_v of_o the_o scripture_n the_o life_n of_o which_o they_o witness_v manifest_v in_o they_o enq._n all_o this_o be_v good_a but_o be_v there_o any_o man_n now_o that_o have_v the_o same_o spirit_n the_o â—postles_n have_v or_o be_v the_o same_o light_n
