account_v in_o steed_n of_o the_o apostle_n yea_o their_o pope_n or_o patriarch_n they_o hold_v to_o be_v in_o the_o room_n of_o christ_n if_o then_o it_o be_v sufficient_a to_o believe_v as_o their_o politic_a man_n without_o any_o other_o grace_n can_v love_v his_o country_n more_o than_o himself_o and_o likewise_o also_o the_o hand_n do_v many_o time_n love_v the_o head_n better_o than_o itself_o we_o have_v cause_n to_o think_v and_o believe_v that_o our_o will_n may_v so_o much_o more_o than_o the_o foresay_a thing_n love_n god_n more_o than_o itself_o as_o that_o god_n be_v more_o great_a than_o the_o head_n or_o the_o country_n unto_o this_o also_o i_o answer_v and_o say_v that_o a_o valiant_a citizen_n do_v hazard_v his_o life_n many_o time_n for_o glory_n which_o he_o love_v more_o than_o his_o own_o life_n or_o it_o be_v true_a that_o he_o foresee_v that_o lose_v his_o country_n he_o shall_v loose_v all_o that_o he_o have_v therefore_o he_o adjudge_v it_o be_v less_o hurt_n in_o such_o a_o case_n to_o spend_v his_o life_n some_o other_o be_v move_v to_o take_v armour_n upon_o they_o for_o the_o profit_n sake_n which_o they_o hope_v to_o obtain_v or_o else_o for_o the_o loss_n which_o they_o fear_v will_v happen_v all_o this_o than_o that_o a_o polytike_a man_n do_v as_o one_o that_o be_v carnal_a be_v only_o for_o himself_o and_o for_o his_o own_o proper_a gain_n and_o likewise_o also_o a_o man_n when_o he_o offer_v his_o hand_n contrary_a to_o the_o proper_a inclination_n to_o receive_v a_o wound_n for_o the_o safeguard_n of_o the_o head_n do_v it_o because_o he_o love_v himself_o and_o see_v that_o it_o will_v be_v small_a hurt_n &_o less_o danger_n if_o he_o suffer_v his_o hand_n to_o be_v hurt_v then_o if_o he_o suffer_v his_o head_n it_o be_v always_o then_o self-love_n which_o cause_v we_o to_o do_v any_o thing_n when_o we_o be_v without_o divine_a grace_n and_o albeit_o that_o god_n alone_o in_o truth_n be_v good_a and_o include_v in_o he_o all_o virtue_n &_o be_v all_o goodness_n wherefore_o not_o only_o we_o ought_v to_o love_v he_o above_o all_o other_o thing_n but_o in_o he_o alone_o we_o ought_v to_o stay_v our_o love_n notwithstanding_o through_o the_o sin_n of_o our_o first_o parent_n we_o be_v so_o blind_a feeble_a mischievous_a and_o miserable_a that_o without_o his_o grace_n and_o light_v supernatural_a not_o
