i_o can_v never_o full_o come_v up_o to_o neither_o in_o judgement_n nor_o practice_v neither_o can_v i_o leave_v these_o outward_a thing_n which_o all_o must_v leave_v before_o they_o can_v see_v the_o glory_n of_o the_o inward_a and_o those_o that_o have_v not_o put_v themselves_o on_o such_o thing_n but_o be_v lead_v to_o they_o by_o the_o father_n have_v and_o do_v see_v that_o glory_n this_o objection_n have_v specious_a word_n but_o weigh_v in_o the_o balance_n of_o the_o sanctuary_n will_v be_v find_v light_a than_o vanity_n with_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o like_a nature_n which_o holy_a scripture_n for_o though_o i_o do_v very_o high_o esteem_v of_o christian_a experience_n as_o to_o the_o operation_n and_o effect_n of_o truth_n in_o the_o soul_n as_o indeed_o it_o be_v the_o very_a life_n of_o christianity_n yet_o as_o to_o rule_v i_o value_v one_o word_n of_o scripture_n more_o than_o all_o experience_n and_o i_o be_o sure_a the_o scripture_n will_v not_o own_v they_o which_o be_v the_o rule_n and_o touchstone_n by_o which_o i_o desire_v to_o try_v and_o judge_v all_o thing_n for_o that_o which_o the_o scripture_n set_v up_o they_o throw_v down_o and_o that_o which_o the_o scripture_n forbid_v they_o set_v up_o for_o instance_n the_o scripture_n exalt_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n in_o all_o his_o action_n office_n and_o ordinance_n they_o set_v up_o many_o time_n so_o bless_v themselves_o as_o if_o they_o be_v high_o in_o favour_n with_o god_n when_o the_o lord_n know_v it_o be_v no_o such_o thing_n but_o it_o may_v be_v they_o have_v their_o portion_n in_o this_o life_n and_o be_v deliver_v from_o a_o lesser_a to_o be_v reserve_v to_o a_o great_a destruction_n but_o as_o to_o experience_n from_o a_o truesanctified_a knowledge_n or_o special_a work_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n they_o be_v altogether_o stranger_n to_o it_o 1_o cor._n 2._o 14._o its_o only_o the_o privilege_n of_o saint_n to_o be_v eminent_a in_o that_o and_o indeed_o it_o be_v a_o privilege_n so_o great_a that_o i_o desire_v for_o ever_o to_o bless_v the_o lord_n that_o he_o have_v make_v i_o who_o be_o so_o unworthy_a in_o any_o measure_n to_o partake_v stand_v we_o instead_o and_o so_o far_o do_v we_o attain_v true_a wisdom_n and_o no_o far_o and_o indeed_o as_o to_o the_o effect_n and_o operation_n of_o it_o in_o the_o heart_n it_o be_v the_o very_a life_n of_o christianity_n yet_o as_o to_o rule_v for_o the_o receive_n of_o any_o principle_n one_o word_n of_o scripture_n be_v more_o worth_a than_o all_o our_o experience_n and_o as_o to_o must_v answer_v a_o spiritual_a rule_n and_o the_o holy_a scripture_n be_v that_o rule_n by_o which_o all_o christian_a experience_n must_v be_v try_v according_a to_o the_o lord_n own_o appointment_n esa_n 8._o 20._o and_o all_o must_v answer_v some_o rule_n therein_o express_v or_o employ_v by_o rule_n in_o this_o sense_n i_o mean_v the_o scripture_n declare_v the_o same_o thing_n and_o as_o it_o
