not_o the_o quaker_n omit_v the_o sacrament_n and_o the_o word_n of_o the_o mouth_n which_o be_v outward_a thing_n as_o well_o as_o the_o other_o nay_o why_o shall_v not_o outward_a teach_v or_o advantage_n and_o be_v of_o no_o value_n towards_o make_v our_o worship_n acceptable_a this_o meaning_n of_o the_o word_n direct_o answer_v our_o saviour_n design_n which_o be_v to_o show_v the_o samaritan_n woman_n that_o the_o time_n be_v come_v that_o the_o worship_n offer_v to_o god_n under_o the_o gospel_n will_v be_v nothing_o more_o acceptable_a for_o be_v offer_v at_o jerusalem_n or_o mount-gerezim_a or_o any_o other_o place_n but_o the_o heart_n be_v right_a all_o place_n be_v alike_o which_o be_v direct_o contrary_a to_o the_o jewish_a law_n that_o allow_v no_o sacrifice_n or_o oblation_n to_o be_v acceptable_a to_o god_n that_o be_v not_o offer_v at_o the_o temple_n and_o consequent_o their_o worship_n derive_v its_o acceptance_n from_o the_o place_n and_o not_o from_o show_v thou_o my_o faith_n by_o my_o work_n after_o the_o same_o manner_n a_o man_n may_v say_v thou_o worship_v god_n inward_o in_o heart_n and_o spirit_n and_o i_o worship_v he_o outward_o and_o abomination_n to_o he_o when_o separate_v from_o the_o heart_n and_o be_v only_o acceptable_a to_o he_o as_o they_o contribute_v to_o inward_a devotion_n let_v i_o therefore_o entreat_v you_o to_o labour_v so_o to_o perform_v the_o service_n of_o our_o church_n that_o it_o may_v attain_v the_o end_n for_o which_o god_n have_v design_v his_o worship_n 3._o since_o the_o service_n of_o our_o church_n be_v such_o as_o god_n have_v require_v in_o his_o word_n let_v nothing_o discourage_v we_o in_o the_o use_n of_o it_o let_v we_o remember_v that_o we_o perform_v it_o in_o obedience_n to_o god_n and_o though_o some_o hate_n some_o revile_v and_o some_o despise_v it_o yet_o that_o the_o author_n of_o it_o be_v able_a to_o vindicate_v it_o this_o be_v no_o new_a thing_n it_o be_v the_o entertainment_n the_o world_n have_v general_o give_v god_n service_n and_o his_o truth_n and_o therefore_o neither_o obstinacy_n perverseness_n or_o negligence_n of_o the_o people_n who_o you_o be_v to_o persuade_v aught_o to_o discourage_v you_o be_v diligent_a be_v constant_a be_v resolute_a and_o be_v assure_v that_o god_n will_v always_o give_v you_o success_n so_o far_o as_o be_v necessary_a ordinary_a congregation_n where_o it_o be_v practise_v if_o then_o you_o can_v show_v none_o of_o these_o in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n neither_o promise_n nor_o command_n it_o be_v a_o plain_a case_n
