the_o church_n of_o rome_n as_o idolater_n or_o not_o for_o it_o be_v the_o public_a profession_n thereof_o that_o we_o be_v to_o forsake_v we_o be_v not_o to_o forsake_v it_o for_o the_o action_n of_o private_a person_n contrary_a to_o that_o which_o they_o public_o profess_v now_o they_o which_o profess_v the_o only_a true_a christ_n and_o therefore_o the_o only_a true_a god_n do_v themselves_o and_o renounce_v all_o of_o they_o that_o which_o all_o of_o they_o profess_v they_o can_v be_v idolater_n by_o consequence_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o easy_a to_o make_v it_o appear_v to_o common_a reason_n that_o they_o be_v idolater_n and_o so_o that_o we_o be_v to_o forsake_v they_o as_o idolater_n because_o then_o it_o must_v appear_v to_o common_a reason_n that_o so_o great_a a_o part_n of_o christendom_n do_v by_o their_o profession_n contradict_v that_o which_o themselves_o profess_v god_n they_o that_o separate_v from_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n as_o idolater_n be_v thereby_o schismatickes_n before_o god_n and_o what_o will_v they_o that_o stand_v upon_o this_o plea_n say_v to_o i_o who_o pretend_v to_o have_v prove_v that_o the_o nature_n of_o idolatry_n consist_v in_o that_o which_o i_o have_v say_v and_o therefore_o that_o the_o papist_n be_v not_o by_o their_o common_a profession_n idolater_n can_v they_o pretend_v so_o much_o charity_n to_o i_o of_o charity_n to_o purchase_v peace_n and_o unity_n with_o they_o at_o the_o charge_n of_o answer_v for_o all_o the_o mischief_n which_o our_o schism_n with_o
the_o church_n of_o rome_n produce_v for_o in_o plain_a term_n we_o make_v ourselves_o schismatic_n by_o ground_v our_o reformation_n upon_o this_o pretence_n for_o on_o the_o one_o side_n we_o profess_v the_o separation_n to_o have_v be_v our_o intent_n not_o a_o consequence_n of_o the_o reformation_n by_o the_o fault_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n in_o not_o comply_v with_o it_o the_o sin_n of_o schism_n as_o to_o god_n horrible_a the_o schism_n of_o the_o donatist_n in_o charge_v the_o catholic_n to_o be_v apostate_n the_o sad_a consequence_n of_o that_o schism_n further_o a_o hand_n in_o the_o schism_n in_o depart_v further_o from_o they_o than_o they_o ought_v to_o do_v he_o that_o take_v the_o pope_n for_o antichrist_n and_o the_o papist_n for_o idolater_n can_v never_o weigh_v by_o his_o own_o weight_n and_o mete_v by_o his_o own_o measure_n till_o he_o hate_v papist_n worse_a than_o jew_n or_o mahometans_n who_o can_v be_v idolater_n which_o some_o but_o prove_v if_o they_o do_v prove_v they_o idolater_n for_o the_o idolatry_n of_o the_o gnosticke_n which_o i_o be_o confident_a be_v mention_v in_o divers_a text_n of_o the_o new_a testament_n may_v
