a_o very_a swift_a return_n to_o the_o eleven_o before_o the_o second_o evening_n notwithstanding_o the_o like_a argument_n here_o use_v in_o luke_n 24.29_o and_o yet_o second_o suppose_v that_o they_o invite_v our_o saviour_n to_o supper_n yet_o the_o former_a evening_n beginning_n about_o two_o or_o three_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o after_o noon_n our_o saviour_n may_v stay_v some_o time_n to_o eat_v with_o they_o and_o yet_o they_o be_v timely_a enough_o at_o jerusalem_n before_o the_o second_o evening_n for_o suppose_v our_o saviour_n stay_v a_o hour_n with_o they_o or_o more_o after_o two_o or_o three_o of_o the_o clock_n yet_o if_o a_o strong_a man_n may_v walk_v ordinary_o three_o mile_n a_o hour_n why_o may_v not_o the_o tiding_n of_o this_o joyful_a news_n make_v they_o double_a their_o pace_n whether_o on_o foot_n or_o horseback_n no_o mention_n be_v make_v of_o either_o and_o so_o be_v there_o within_o a_o hour_n and_o half_a or_o thereabouts_o before_o the_o second_o evening_n can_v come_v thesis_n 61._o and_o although_o our_o saviour_n appear_v to_o they_o when_o the_o door_n be_v shut_v yet_o it_o be_v not_o say_v that_o the_o door_n be_v shut_v because_o it_o be_v night_n but_o for_o fear_n of_o the_o jew_n and_o their_o pursuivant_n that_o they_o may_v not_o rush_v in_o sudden_o upon_o they_o which_o they_o may_v do_v in_o the_o day_n as_o well_o as_o in_o the_o night_n and_o though_o this_o be_v a_o poor_a safeguard_n from_o their_o enemy_n yet_o it_o be_v some_o and_o the_o best_a which_o they_o have_v or_o at_o least_o can_v think_v of_o at_o such_o a_o time_n and_o if_o our_o saviour_n come_v to_o they_o when_o they_o be_v at_o supper_n mark_n 16.14_o and_o if_o the_o ordinary_a time_n of_o the_o jew_n supper_n be_v a_o little_a after_o or_o about_o sunset_n as_o might_n be_v demonstrate_v then_o the_o second_o evening_n be_v not_o as_o yet_o begin_v no_o not_o when_o christ_n come_v much_o less_o before_o the_o other_o two_o come_v who_o be_v there_o from_o emaus_n before_o thesis_n 62._o it_o be_v say_v by_o some_o that_o if_o it_o be_v not_o very_o late_o than_o the_o argument_n of_o the_o disciple_n to_o persuade_v christ_n to_o stay_v be_v weak_a but_o it_o seem_v say_v they_o they_o be_v strong_a because_o it_o be_v say_v they_o constrain_v he_o but_o we_o know_v that_o much_o affection_n will_v some_o time_n urge_v a_o weak_a argument_n very_o far_o for_o stay_v of_o some_o special_a friend_n and_o when_o argument_n will_v not_o prevail_v it_o will_v hold_v they_o and_o constrain_v they_o by_o force_n and_o thus_o it_o seem_v the_o disciple_n deal_v with_o our_o saviour_n their_o constrain_a he_o be_v not_o so_o much_o by_o force_n of_o argument_n as_o violence_n and_o force_n of_o love_n for_o so_o the_o word_n in_o the_o original_a 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d proper_o signify_v and_o hence_o it_o seem_v that_o there_o be_v day_n enough_o above_o head_n to_o travail_v far_o in_o otherwise_o what_o
