sacred_a verity_n and_o holy_a scripture_n whosoever_o hear_v and_o consider_v aright_o shall_v find_v here_o and_o there_o apply_v such_o and_o so_o many_o excellent_a doctrine_n resolution_n sentence_n ecclesiaste_n the_o excellency_n of_o solomon_n word_n contain_v in_o the_o ecclesiaste_n proverbe_n parable_n example_n counsel_n consolation_n exhortation_n admonition_n commination_n reason_n argument_n and_o conclusion_n with_o such_o change_n and_o variety_n of_o time_n though_o as_o yet_o on_o one_o instrument_n and_o on_o one_o ground_n to_o draw_v from_o vice_n and_o to_o provoke_v man_n to_o piety_n and_o to_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n that_o lead_v towards_o the_o high_a good_a and_o chief_a felicity_n and_o also_o to_o confirm_v any_o doctrine_n or_o opinion_n that_o shall_v be_v either_o teach_v or_o deliver_v to_o the_o church_n for_o god_n glory_n and_o the_o profit_n of_o the_o same_o for_o therein_o be_v to_o be_v see_v and_o gather_v the_o same_o verity_n which_o it_o have_v please_v god_n by_o the_o inspiration_n of_o his_o spirit_n to_o exhibit_v unto_o his_o prophet_n and_o servant_n who_o he_o have_v make_v in_o this_o respect_n the_o master_n and_o author_n of_o those_o holy_a book_n and_o godly_a collection_n worthy_o entitle_v the_o word_n of_o god_n 1._o psal_n 1._o these_o be_v the_o thing_n which_o the_o king_n wonderful_o affect_v such_o like_a the_o which_o therefore_o most_o man_n study_v to_o attain_v in_o the_o read_n hear_v and_o observe_v the_o precept_n and_o rule_n of_o the_o same_o wherein_o nevertheless_o while_o man_n be_v busy_v they_o resemble_v those_o foolish_a people_n which_o be_v disease_v do_v seek_v for_o remedy_n of_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v bring_v from_o india_n aethiopia_n and_o the_o further_a part_n of_o the_o world_n happy_o not_o so_o well_o fit_v the_o constitution_n of_o their_o nature_n when_o the_o while_n they_o contemn_v or_o neglect_v the_o good_a thing_n which_o grow_v authority_n and_o collect_v take_v and_o teach_v by_o the_o king_n aswell_o in_o this_o as_o in_o other_o his_o book_n and_o so_o we_o find_v they_o to_o shoot_v harmonical_o to_o this_o chief_a scope_n or_o mark_n 20._o the_o end_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n eccles._n 12.13_o 1_o god_n glory_n 2._o man_n happiness_n psal_n 50.23_o exod._n 20._o namely_o that_o man_n may_v thereby_o learn_v and_o be_v persuade_v to_o fear_n god_n and_o to_o keep_v his_o commandment_n in_o the_o which_o be_v respect_v those_o two_o thing_n namely_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o high_a
