thing_n in_o scripture_n that_o seem_v contradiction_n where_o he_o meet_v with_o a_o difficulty_n he_o can_v easy_o discern_v the_o cause_n be_v in_o himself_o and_o that_o there_o be_v a_o undoubted_a way_n of_o reconcile_a they_o though_o he_o have_v not_o attain_v to_o it_o he_o can_v easy_o quiet_v his_o soul_n under_o the_o most_o difficult_a providence_n and_o interpret_v they_o so_o as_o be_v consistent_a with_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n which_o must_v expound_v they_o he_o reconcile_v providence_n with_o providence_n and_o providence_n with_o scripture_n whereas_o a_o weak_a christian_n be_v ready_a to_o say_v a_o hard_a say_n who_o can_v bear_v this_o and_o that_o and_o it_o be_v the_o difficulty_n of_o these_o kind_n of_o truth_n that_o make_v so_o many_o turn_v their_o religion_n because_o not_o able_a to_o digest_v the_o hard_a truth_n of_o god_n cross_a providence_n make_v they_o question_n god_n love_n etc._n etc._n 4._o he_o be_v one_o that_o can_v exercise_v various_a grace_n without_o set_v one_o against_o another_o destroy_v or_o contradict_v one_o another_o he_o can_v do_v many_o work_n believe_v many_o truth_n perform_v many_o duty_n at_o once_o he_o can_v rejoice_v &_o sorrow_n at_o once_o and_o make_v his_o sorrow_n a_o help_n to_o his_o joy_n and_o his_o joy_n a_o help_n to_o his_o sorrow_n &_o so_o exercise_v both_o in_o that_o nature_n as_o will_v not_o direct_o hinder_v or_o weaken_v one_o another_o he_o can_v tell_v how_o in_o such_o a_o time_n as_o we_o be_v in_o to_o rejoice_v yet_o to_o be_v humble_a to_o be_v cast_v down_o at_o humble_a weep_v grieve_v fear_v and_o be_v ready_a to_o cast_v away_o all_o comfort_n all_o sense_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n if_o he_o set_v himself_o to_o the_o consideration_n of_o the_o grace_n weakness_n that_o make_v thou_o make_v such_o a_o stir_n when_o god_n lay_v on_o thou_o personal_n family_n public_a affection_n that_o make_v thou_o shrink_v under_o they_o strength_n of_o grace_n will_v enable_v thou_o to_o see_v god_n and_o glory_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o they_o and_o to_o say_v all_o shall_v work_v for_o my_o good_a it_o will_v enable_v thou_o to_o get_v advantage_n and_o be_v better_v by_o they_o have_v thou_o strength_n enough_o to_o improve_v they_o thou_o will_v take_v comfort_n from_o they_o and_o support_v thyself_o under_o they_o but_o when_o thou_o have_v not_o strength_n enough_o to_o understand_v god_n meaning_n to_o see_v the_o duty_n then_o call_v for_o to_o improve_v all_o for_o god_n to_o do_v that_o service_n to_o god_n thou_o shall_v do_v in_o such_o a_o condition_n no_o wonder_n if_o thou_o have_v not_o grace_v to_o support_v and_o comfort_v thou_o in_o that_o condition_n whereas_o the_o confirm_a christian_n by_o strong_a faith_n love_n and_o patience_n can_v carry_v great_a burden_n etc._n etc._n 6._o be_v helpful_a to_o many_o and_o troublesome_a unto_o few_o they_o be_v the_o useful_a person_n in_o the_o family_n and_o place_n where_o they_o live_v it_o be_v they_o can_v counsel_v other_o in_o their_o doubt_n help_v they_o in_o their_o strait_n that_o can_v bear_v up_o the_o weak_a when_o ready_a to_o sink_v that_o can_v hold_v other_o by_o the_o arm_n when_o not_o able_a to_o go_v upright_a that_o tend_v god_n little_a one_o and_o if_o it_o be_v not_o for_o these_o what_o will_v god_n little_a one_o do_v they_o be_v so_o so_o it_o be_v they_o that_o have_v the_o low_a heart_n have_v the_o low_a condition_n too_o i_o read_v of_o the_o king_n of_o the_o moor_n that_o he_o be_v offend_v at_o the_o christian_n because_o of_o their_o poverty_n and_o true_o when_o wicked_a man_n do_v fleece_n the_o saint_n it_o be_v no_o wonder_n if_o they_o be_v poor_a methinks_v grace_n in_o a_o poor_a man_n be_v like_o a_o pearl_n they_o have_v their_o blemish_n and_o their_o fail_n in_o some_o there_o be_v too_o much_o pride_n in_o other_o too_o much_o censoriousness_n in_o other_o too_o much_o rash_a anger_n and_o passion_n but_o we_o must_v love_v the_o grace_n that_o be_v in_o they_o notwithstanding_o the_o infirmity_n that_o be_v in_o they_o you_o love_v gold_n though_o in_o the_o oar_n and_o mix_v with_o much_o impurity_n a_o saint_n on_o earth_n be_v like_o a_o diamond_n that_o have_v its_o flaw_n like_v to_o the_o rose_n that_o be_v sweet_a and_o perfume_a but_o yet_o have_v its_o prick_n the_o best_a saint_n have_v some_o mixture_n and_o infirmity_n and_o we_o must_v love_v they_o for_o the_o good_a that_o be_v in_o they_o this_o be_v our_o great_a fault_n we_o be_v apt_a to_o overlook_a all_o the_o good_a and_o so_o take_v notice_n of_o the_o stain_n and_o blemish_n in_o they_o as_o those_o that_o see_v a_o little_a stain_n in_o a_o piece_n of_o scarlet_a despise_v the_o cloth_n for_o the_o stain_v sake_n so_o do_v we_o but_o god_n do_v not_o do_v so_o by_o we_o he_o be_v please_v to_o overlook_a many_o sad_a fail_n he_o see_v the_o faith_n and_o wink_v at_o the_o fail_n of_o his_o
