believer_n by_o his_o spirit_n then_o a_o believer_n shall_v never_o die_v again_o spiritual_o die_v again_o i_o have_v read_v of_o a_o woman_n that_o when_o her_o husband_n be_v dead_a she_o will_v what_o glorious_a condescend_v love_n be_v here_o if_o a_o father_n portion_n a_o child_n set_v he_o up_o in_o a_o good_a trade_n and_o the_o child_n decay_n through_o his_o own_o folly_n the_o father_n will_v not_o portion_n he_o again_o possible_o he_o may_v help_v he_o but_o he_o will_v not_o give_v he_o ordinary_o parent_n do_v not_o give_v so_o great_a a_o portion_n to_o help_v he_o then_o three_o you_o may_v observe_v this_o too_o that_o this_o spirit_n be_v a_o live_a spirit_n and_o dwell_v or_o abide_v in_o a_o believer_n for_o it_o be_v say_v twice_o here_o that_o the_o spirit_n dwell_v in_o you_o so_o that_o plain_o then_o you_o see_v from_o the_o word_n christ_n dwell_v in_o every_o believer_n christ_n dwell_v in_o every_o christian_a he_o live_v in_o he_o and_o if_o it_o be_v not_o so_o how_o shall_v the_o absence_n of_o jesus_n christ_n be_v recompense_v by_o the_o come_n of_o the_o spirit_n or_o of_o the_o comforter_n when_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n christ_n leave_v the_o world_n and_o his_o disciple_n he_o give_v they_o a_o gracious_a promise_n of_o send_v his_o spirit_n 16.7_o joh._n 16.7_o and_o if_o i_o go_v not_o say_v he_o the_o spirit_n or_o the_o comforter_n will_v not_o come_v but_o if_o i_o go_v i_o will_v send_v the_o comforter_n and_o he_o shall_v make_v up_o your_o loss_n of_o i_o now_o if_o that_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n shall_v not_o be_v in_o a_o believer_n and_o live_v in_o he_o how_o will_v the_o come_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o of_o the_o spirit_n make_v up_o the_o loss_n of_o the_o personal_a presence_n of_o jesus_n christ_n beside_o you_o know_v that_o friend_n love_v to_o be_v near_o unto_o one_o another_o and_o the_o near_o they_o be_v the_o happy_a they_o count_v themselves_o they_o love_v not_o to_o be_v asunder_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o lover_n live_v where_o it_o love_v rather_o than_o where_o it_o live_v now_o there_o be_v the_o great_a friendship_n between_o christ_n and_o a_o believer_n live_v in_o all_o believer_n real_o live_v in_o they_o by_o his_o spirit_n then_o what_o need_v of_o ordinance_n for_o christ_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n in_o i_o can_v live_v without_o ordinance_n and_o if_o a_o man_n have_v attain_v once_o unto_o the_o spirit_n christ_n in_o he_o and_o christ_n live_v in_o he_o and_o have_v attain_v unto_o the_o spirit_n the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n real_o live_v in_o he_o what_o need_v of_o any_o commandment_n without_o or_o rule_n without_o for_o the_o spirit_n will_v be_v a_o sufficient-rule_n to_o lead_v he_o into_o all_o that_o be_v but_o as_o a_o testimony_n of_o our_o obedience_n if_o that_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n be_v the_o only_a reason_n of_o the_o ordinance_n then_o in_o case_n that_o a_o man_n can_v without_o the_o ordinance_n have_v the_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n he_o may_v lay_v by_o the_o ordinance_n but_o see_v that_o we_o be_v for_o to_o use_v the_o ordinance_n as_o a_o act_n of_o our_o obedience_n although_o a_o man_n can_v enjoy_v christ_n have_v the_o spirit_n and_o christ_n live_v in_o he_o yet_o notwithstanding_o he_o be_v still_o to_o bear_v up_o the_o ordinance_n story_n of_o anselme_n walk_v abroad_o in_o the_o field_n he_o see_v a_o shepherd_n boy_n that_o have_v take_v a_o bird_n and_o have_v tie_v a_o stone_n unto_o the_o leg_n of_o the_o bird_n the_o christ_n yes_o sure_o i_o can_v deny_v this_o but_o there_o be_v some_o working_n in_o my_o soul_n according_a to_o the_o room_n and_o station_n that_o i_o have_v in_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n and_o this_o i_o can_v say_v that_o when_o the_o comforter_n come_v than_o i_o do_v know_v that_o christ_n be_v in_o i_o and_o i_o can_v say_v this_o also_o through_o grace_n in_o some_o measure_n the_o work_n and_o thing_n of_o christ_n be_v naturalize_v to_o i_o they_o be_v the_o servant_n and_o retinue_n of_o christ_n that_o do_v come_v in_o and_o go_v out_o unto_o my_o soul_n the_o lord_n know_v i_o be_o never_o better_o than_o when_o i_o be_o speak_v of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o hear_v from_o jesus_n christ_n if_o so_o soul_n be_v of_o good_a comfort_n though_o thou_o have_v fear_v that_o year_n so_o here_o you_o can_v never_o be_v thankful_a enough_o in_o proportion_n to_o the_o mercy_n receive_v but_o you_o may_v be_v thankful_a in_o proportion_n to_o other_o mercy_n receive_v if_o the_o lord_n have_v give_v you_o the_o whole_a world_n for_o your_o portion_n you_o will_v have_v be_v thankful_a now_o in_o that_o he_o have_v give_v you_o his_o son_n and_o that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v real_o unite_v to_o you_o by_o his_o spirit_n and_o christ_n real_o in_o your_o soul_n he_o have_v do_v more_o for_o you_o than_o if_o he_o have_v give_v you_o all_o the_o whole_a world_n and_o will_v you_o be_v thankful_a for_o these_o outward_a thing_n and_o not_o for_o this_o in-being_a of_o christ_n in_o your_o soul_n and_o yet_o how_o many_o be_v there_o that_o be_v sometime_o blessing_n god_n and_o show_v some_o kind_n of_o thankfulness_n for_o outward_a thing_n but_o as_o for_o this_o in-being_a of_o christ_n in_o the_o soul_n that_o they_o be_v stranger_n to_o and_o the_o lord_n know_v they_o be_v never_o thankful_a for_o that_o so_o much_o as_o for_o outward_a thing_n but_o if_o christ_n be_v in_o you_o of_o a_o truth_n why_o shall_v you_o not_o be_v content_v with_o your_o condition_n what_o ever_o it_o be_v yea_o thankful_a for_o it_o yea_o thankful_a in_o proportion_n duty_n 3_o three_o if_o christ_n be_v in_o you_o of_o a_o truth_n then_o why_o shall_v you_o not_o venture_v upon_o any_o work_n or_o service_n for_o god_n although_o it_o do_v lie_v beyond_o you_o and_o beyond_o your_o strength_n and_o expect_v large_a and_o great_a thing_n from_o he_o
