man_n be_v unanimous_a with_o the_o devil_n they_o be_v of_o his_o mind_n and_o he_o of_o they_o for_o he_o rule_v in_o the_o child_n of_o disobedience_n the_o devil_n speak_v against_o christ_n and_o teacher_n be_v unanimous_a with_o he_o in_o these_o thing_n for_o he_o that_o be_v join_v to_o the_o devil_n be_v one_o spirit_n even_o as_o he_o that_o be_v join_v to_o the_o lord_n be_v one_o spirit_n how_o great_a then_o be_v the_o sin_n of_o these_o man_n sin_n spiritual_a sin_n be_v great_a than_o fleshly_a sin_n who_o conceive_v in_o their_o mind_n and_o bring_v forth_o the_o birth_n of_o the_o devil_n as_o all_o doctrine_n of_o devil_n be_v sure_o these_o spiritual_a sin_n be_v great_a than_o fleshly_a sin_n as_o drunkenness_n gluttony_n adultery_n murder_n etc._n etc._n if_o spiritual_a sin_n false_a opinion_n doctrine_n and_o principle_n concern_v christ_n his_o nature_n righteousness_n merit_n and_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n when_o they_o will_v not_o be_v instruct_v but_o hate_v to_o be_v reform_v and_o change_v their_o mind_n when_o they_o will_v not_o hearken_v to_o the_o truth_n but_o still_o resist_v it_o disow_v it_o contradict_v and_o blaspheme_n when_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n have_v be_v often_o offer_v and_o tender_v to_o they_o yet_o they_o will_v not_o hear_v nor_o regard_n but_o rather_o believe_v lie_n than_o the_o truth_n than_o god_n give_v they_o up_o to_o strong_a delusion_n to_o believe_v lie_n and_o to_o hearken_v and_o give_v heed_n to_o seduce_a spirit_n this_o be_v a_o very_a dreadful_a state_n indeed_o they_o draw_v these_o spiritual_a judgement_n upon_o themselves_o by_o these_o spiritual_a sin_n the_o quaker_n set_v up_o this_o idol_n the_o light_n within_o every_o man_n and_o woman_n be_v a_o great_a sin_n in_o they_o than_o for_o jezebel_n false_a prophet_n to_o set_v up_o baal_n and_o pray_v unto_o it_o and_o trust_v in_o it_o instead_o of_o the_o god_n of_o israel_n may_v it_o not_o ironical_o be_v endeavour_v to_o shame_n they_o out_o of_o it_o for_o it_o have_v not_o so_o much_o as_o a_o show_n or_o shadow_n of_o truth_n in_o it_o but_o be_v plain_o a_o most_o dreadful_a delusion_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o a_o great_a blasphemy_n against_o christ_n this_o opinion_n of_o they_o ignorance_n the_o false_a opinion_n of_o the_o quaker_n spring_n from_o pride_n and_o ignorance_n with_o other_o of_o their_o false_a principle_n spring_n from_o pride_n and_o ignorance_n and_o this_o the_o apostle_n observe_v concern_v such_o man_n 1_o tim._n 6.3_o 4._o if_o any_o man_n teach_v otherwise_o garb_n and_o fashion_n unbecoming_a for_o professor_n of_o the_o gospel_n yet_o this_o alone_a be_v but_o a_o show_n of_o humility_n it_o be_v not_o the_o grace_n itself_o but_o it_o be_v plain_a and_o be_v lift_v up_o in_o themselves_o as_o the_o proud_a pharisee_n be_v and_o be_v persuade_v and_o profess_v that_o they_o be_v not_o as_o other_o man_n be_v all_o be_v publican_n and_o harlot_n in_o ignorance_n blindness_n and_o darkness_n but_o themselves_o yea_o all_o professor_n of_o all_o persuasion_n whatsoever_o that_o be_v not_o one_o with_o they_o in_o judgement_n and_o practice_n they_o be_v all_o deceive_v and_o out_o of_o the_o way_n out_o of_o the_o light_n the_o truth_n and_o the_o life_n now_o what_o great_a evidence_n of_o pride_n can_v man_n discover_v than_o this_o and_o concord_n among_o the_o quaker_n be_v far_o from_o the_o unity_n that_o christ_n command_v &_o require_v to_o be_v among_o his_o people_n the_o member_n of_o his_o body_n the_o church_n he_o command_v love_n unity_n peace_n communion_n and_o fellowship_n to_o be_v between_o and_o among_o all_o his_o people_n his_o member_n and_o there_o be_v so_o in_o their_o degree_n and_o measure_n which_o be_v discover_v as_o occasion_n and_o opportunity_n be_v offer_v but_o though_o there_o be_v as_o there_o be_v not_o that_o unity_n of_o judgement_n opinion_n and_o practice_n among_o themselves_o as_o he_o say_v there_o be_v yet_o i_o say_v it_o be_v far_o from_o that_o unity_n and_o love_n that_o be_v in_o the_o true_a church_n of_o christ_n for_o these_o people_n have_v cut_v off_o and_o separate_v themselves_o from_o the_o true_a church_n and_o from_o all_o the_o particular_a assembly_n society_n and_o congregation_n of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n and_o do_v fancy_n themselves_o to_o be_v the_o only_a people_n of_o god_n upon_o earth_n exclude_v all_o other_o for_o so_o he_o have_v say_v o_o wonderful_a strong_a delusion_n a_o darkness_n and_o blindness_n not_o natural_a only_a as_o all_o carnal_a man_n be_v blind_a but_o sure_o a_o judicial_a blindness_n be_v upon_o they_o blindness_n as_o a_o just_a judgement_n from_o the_o lord_n who_o have_v give_v leave_n to_o the_o god_n of_o this_o world_n to_o blind_v the_o mind_n of_o they_o that_o believe_v not_o this_o unity_n among_o themselves_o divide_v and_o separate_n from_o all_o the_o saint_n better_o than_o themselves_o if_o we_o shall_v suppose_v that_o they_o be_v of_o the_o body_n be_v the_o great_a evidence_n of_o enmity_n strife_n schism_n and_o dissension_n that_o can_v be_v for_o out_o of_o his_o own_o mouth_n he_o be_v judge_v he_o allude_v to_o the_o union_n between_o the_o member_n of_o the_o natural_a body_n their_o union_n and_o love_n he_o say_v be_v such_o a_o union_n one_o with_o another_o and_o where_o there_o be_v at_o any_o time_n any_o dissension_n and_o external_n separation_n corruption_n and_o satan_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o it_o which_o shall_v occasion_n
