and_o pray_v can_v not_o keep_v off_o this_o woe_n that_o david_n scandal_n bring_v upon_o he_o in_o the_o child_n death_n woe_n unto_o david_n by_o who_o that_o offence_n come_v therefore_o shall_v his_o child_n die_v and_o for_o all_o the_o rest_n of_o all_o those_o woeful_a sorrow_n 2._o sam._n 12._o 9_o 10._o 11._o 12._o we_o see_v the_o cause_n of_o they_o all_o these_o woe_n be_v upon_o david_n for_o his_o scandal_n and_o if_o god_n woe_n in_o these_o temporal_a &_o outward_a calamity_n will_v thus_o pursue_v and_o follow_v a_o repent_v &_o a_o humble_a scandalous_a offender_n how_o much_o more_o will_v that_o hand_n of_o god_n pursue_v that_o man_n upon_o who_o scandal_n follow_v no_o repentance_n and_o humiliation_n if_o david_n the_o man_n after_o god_n own_o heart_n must_v not_o escape_v what_o then_o shall_v other_o look_v for_o if_o a_o belove_a david_n shall_v have_v his_o tooth_n on_o edge_n with_o his_o own_o sour_a grape_n of_o his_o scandalous_a course_n who_o then_o shall_v think_v to_o go_v scotfree_a that_o be_v guilty_a of_o scandalous_a transgression_n what_o a_o sure_a &_o irresistible_a woe_n be_v that_o which_o repentance_n itself_o can_v keep_v off_o from_o a_o man_n child_n his_o life_n person_n and_o good_n and_o thus_o temporal_a woe_n be_v to_o he_o by_o who_o offence_n come_v 2._o god_n will_v pursue_v and_o pinch_v such_o as_o give_v offence_n with_o spiritual_a woe_n god_n will_v fill_v such_o man_n heart_n special_o if_o they_o belong_v to_o he_o with_o much_o spiritual_a woe_n and_o bitterness_n of_o soul_n he_o will_v awaken_v conscience_n to_o smite_v pinch_n and_o gripe_v they_o at_o the_o heart_n he_o will_v so_o load_v and_o burden_v their_o conscience_n that_o in_o the_o anguish_n and_o bitterness_n of_o their_o spirit_n they_o shall_v be_v force_v to_o cry_v out_o woe_n be_v i_o vile_a wretch_n that_o i_o be_v bear_v that_o ever_o i_o breathe_v thus_o to_o dishonour_v god_n it_o be_v true_a that_o there_o be_v a_o happiness_n in_o this_o woe_n and_o it_o be_v singular_a mercy_n that_o man_n be_v not_o sear_v and_o harden_v in_o their_o sin_n but_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o there_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o smart_n &_o sorrow_n and_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o woeful_a bitterness_n in_o the_o work_n of_o repentance_n after_o a_o scandalous_a fall_n and_o before_o such_o shall_v recover_v their_o peace_n with_o god_n he_o will_v give_v they_o many_o a_o woeful_a gripe_n of_o conscience_n and_o many_o a_o bitter_a potion_n to_o drink_v we_o have_v a_o example_n of_o it_o in_o the_o incestuous_a corinthian_a he_o indeed_o recover_v his_o peace_n and_o his_o pardon_n but_o yet_o how_o woeful_a be_v his_o case_n before_o it_o be_v do_v 2._o cor._n 2._o 7._o lest_o such_o a_o one_o shall_v be_v swallow_v up_o of_o over_o much_o sorrow_n see_v then_o in_o what_o a_o woeful_a plight_n he_o be_v even_o in_o a_o sea_n and_o gulf_n of_o sorrow_n ready_a to_o be_v absorb_v and_o swallow_v up_o therein_o the_o lord_n therefore_o plunge_v he_o into_o the_o deep_n of_o bitter_a sorrow_n of_o spirit_n and_o plunge_v he_o so_o deep_a as_o that_o he_o be_v ready_a to_o despair_v and_o to_o be_v whole_o cast_v away_o thus_o god_n will_v make_v his_o soul_n smart_n and_o his_o heart_n ache_v for_o this_o scandal_n of_o he_o will_v make_v he_o feel_v the_o truth_n of_o christ_n saying_n woe_n unto_o he_o by_o who_o the_o offence_n come_v it_o be_v david_n case_n before_o he_o when_o he_o have_v fall_v into_o scandal_n in_o the_o matter_n of_o bathsheba_n and_o vriah_n before_o he_o come_v to_o a_o redintegration_n of_o his_o former_a condition_n god_n bring_v he_o upon_o the_o rack_n ps_n 51._o 12._o restore_v unto_o i_o the_o joy_n of_o thy_o salvation_n therefore_o that_o be_v take_v away_o &_o go_v that_o sweet_a sunshine_n be_v overcloud_v yea_o that_o sun_n be_v dreadful_o eclipse_v and_o how_o fearful_a such_o eclipse_n be_v they_o know_v
