slow_a in_o our_o motion_n towards_o he_o who_o when_o he_o appear_v will_v come_v as_o swift_a as_o the_o lightning_n unto_o we_o up_o up_o o_o my_o soul_n let_v not_o thy_o lord_n find_v thou_o when_o he_o come_v post_v after_o these_o worldly_a vanity_n pursue_v of_o thy_o sinful_a pleasure_n but_o onward_o in_o thy_o way_n go_v very_o far_o in_o devout_a affection_n ardent_a desire_n and_o attain_n of_o so_o great_a a_o good_n if_o we_o esteem_v any_o thing_n high_o and_o feel_v it_o exceed_v agreeable_a to_o our_o heart_n desire_v we_o do_v not_o willing_o rest_v in_o the_o please_a passion_n it_o raise_v up_o in_o our_o heart_n but_o they_o carry_v we_o out_o in_o earnest_a endeavour_n to_o be_v owner_n of_o it_o and_o the_o influence_n it_o have_v upon_o we_o be_v so_o powerful_a and_o it_o do_v so_o strong_o draw_v we_o after_o it_o that_o it_o will_v not_o suffer_v any_o thing_n to_o put_v a_o stop_n to_o the_o current_n of_o our_o affection_n when_o they_o be_v issue_v out_o unto_o it_o there_o be_v certain_a imperfect_a motion_n in_o our_o heart_n which_o we_o be_v apt_a to_o call_v love_n that_o by_o no_o mean_n deserve_v that_o name_n be_v only_o a_o good_a like_n of_o that_o which_o we_o do_v not_o yet_o true_o love_v they_o be_v call_v in_o the_o school_n velleity_n wish_n and_o woulding_n as_o we_o speak_v half_o a_o will_n which_o we_o feel_v for_o divers_a excellent_a thing_n but_o never_o come_v to_o any_o effect_n the_o reason_n be_v because_o the_o appearance_n of_o some_o extreme_a great_a difficulty_n or_o the_o force_n of_o some_o contrary_a desire_n either_o hold_v the_o soul_n
ix_o this_o love_n to_o the_o appear_v of_o our_o lord_n further_o describe_v in_o three_o other_o fruit_n or_o mark_n of_o it_o viii_o and_o now_o can_v any_o soul_n choose_v but_o think_v of_o that_o perpetual_o which_o it_o most_o dear_o love_v do_v not_o every_o good_a use_n to_o present_v itself_o continual_o to_o the_o mind_n that_o be_v enamour_v of_o it_o and_o remember_v we_o of_o its_o beauty_n there_o be_v no_o question_n to_o be_v make_v of_o it_o the_o very_a ardency_n of_o our_o affection_n for_o it_o do_v more_o imprint_n and_o engrave_v it_o on_o our_o mind_n and_o towards_o it_o and_o to_o fix_v their_o thought_n and_o affection_n upon_o it_o we_o shall_v be_v incline_v to_o say_v as_o the_o voice_n be_v in_o the_o song_n of_o song_n come_v my_o fair_a one_o come_v away_o o_o my_o chief_a good_a what_o shall_v i_o desire_v or_o wish_v for_o so_o much_o as_o for_o thy_o come_n what_o be_v it_o that_o i_o ever_o see_v which_o shall_v detain_v my_o eye_n from_o thy_o incomparable_a beauty_n or_o where_o can_v i_o expect_v to_o satisfy_v their_o hunger_n but_o only_o with_o the_o fill_a sight_n of_o thou_o at_o thy_o appear_v the_o spacious_a heaven_n hope_v to_o be_v fill_v with_o the_o majesty_n of_o thy_o glory_n the_o sun_n be_v but_o a_o weak_a image_n of_o thy_o brightness_n and_o will_v be_v content_a to_o go_v out_o to_o make_v room_n for_o thou_o when_o thou_o appear_v all_o the_o star_n of_o light_n be_v ready_a to_o resign_v their_o place_n and_o leave_v the_o sky_n to_o be_v illuminate_v by_o thou_o alone_o whatsoever_o be_v lovely_a and_o surprise_v we_o with_o its_o beauty_n here_o confess_v it_o be_v but_o thy_o shadow_n and_o that_o when_o thou_o break_v forth_o it_o must_v disappear_v fix_v my_o mind_n therefore_o upon_o thy_o glory_n and_o let_v it_o henceforth_o employ_v my_o busy_a thought_n possess_v thyself_o o_o lord_n of_o life_n and_o glory_n entire_o of_o this_o heart_n which_o have_v be_v too_o long_o be_v but_o several_a motion_n which_o have_v their_o rise_n from_o love_n or_o if_o you_o will_v so_o conceive_v it_o nothing_o but_o different_a figure_n and_o shape_n wherein_o it_o appear_v it_o be_v love_v which_o fear_n and_o love_v which_o grieve_v and_o love_v which_o hope_n and_o love_v which_o rejoice_v there_o will_v be_v none_o of_o these_o be_v it_o not_o for_o some_o good_a which_o we_o love_v to_o which_o these_o and_o all_o the_o rest_n of_o their_o kindred_n owe_v their_o birth_n and_o nourishment_n when_o this_o be_v hinder_v in_o its_o design_n it_o breed_v anger_n or_o impatience_n or_o fear_v or_o sadness_n or_o some_o such_o like_a commotion_n and_o when_o this_o succeed_v and_o prosper_v in_o the_o pursuance_n of_o its_o end_n there_o arise_v hope_n and_o contentment_n and_o joy_n and_o gladness_n as_o the_o natural_a issue_n of_o it_o they_o that_o love_v then_o christ_n appear_v will_v fear_v nothing_o so_o much_o as_o to_o lose_v the_o blessedness_n which_o he_o will_v bring_v along_o with_o he_o nothing_o will_v excite_v such_o a_o displeasure_n in_o their_o heart_n as_o that_o evil_a which_o will_v rob_v and_o defraud_v they_o of_o his_o favour_n at_o that_o happy_a day_n and_o what_o be_v there_o that_o can_v give_v they_o such_o a_o touch_n of_o sadness_n as_o the_o thought_n that_o they_o be_v so_o far_o distant_a from_o their_o dear_a lord_n or_o what_o can_v create_v such_o joy_n such_o exultation_n of_o spirit_n as_o to_o hope_v they_o shall_v one_o day_n see_v he_o so_o as_o never_o to_o part_v from_o he_o any_o more_o in_o one_o word_n all_o the_o passion_n of_o their_o soul_n will_v run_v this_o way_n and_o be_v concern_v for_o nothing_o so_o high_o as_o this_o that_o they_o may_v be_v present_v faultless_a before_o the_o presence_n of_o his_o glory_n with_o exceed_a joy_n true_o indeed_o o_o bless_a saviour_n do_v such_o a_o heart_n meditate_v in_o itself_o i_o have_v have_v a_o thousand_o fear_n in_o
