this_o branch_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o fruit_n of_o the_o earth_n beautiful_a and_o glorious_a in_o their_o eye_n 2._o when_o those_o that_o do_v escape_n may_v conclude_v their_o escape_n have_v this_o issue_n and_o effect_n upon_o their_o soul_n and_o 3._o try_v what_o improvement_n we_o may_v make_v of_o this_o truth_n first_o how_o do_v our_o escape_n in_o a_o time_n of_o calamity_n lay_v unto_o his_o son_n and_o confidence_n he_o have_v in_o he_o that_o he_o will_v do_v nothing_o but_o what_o be_v well_o have_v commit_v the_o management_n of_o all_o providence_n into_o his_o hand_n and_o his_o christ_n they_o can_v do_v much_o and_o carry_v a_o great_a stroke_n for_o or_o against_o a_o people_n but_o now_o the_o power_n of_o christ_n be_v absolute_a he_o can_v do_v and_o govern_v in_o this_o matter_n as_o he_o please_v and_o why_o have_v he_o this_o power_n look_v joh._n 5.22_o 23._o the_o father_n judge_v no_o man_n but_o have_v commit_v all_o judgement_n unto_o the_o son_n by_o judge_v here_o i_o humble_o conceive_v rule_v and_o government_n order_v and_o dispose_n of_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n be_v intend_v which_o the_o father_n do_v not_o do_v without_o not_o to_o have_v this_o effect_n upon_o our_o heart_n to_o teach_v we_o to_o honour_v the_o son_n as_o we_o honour_v the_o father_n especial_o 2._o consider_v that_o that_o escape_v which_o you_o and_o i_o have_v in_o a_o day_n of_o calamity_n it_o be_v through_o the_o son_n if_o thou_o do_v escape_v this_o branch_n of_o the_o lord_n have_v a_o great_a hand_n in_o it_o however_o we_o may_v rob_v christ_n of_o his_o honour_n and_o attribute_v it_o unto_o second_o cause_n yet_o indeed_o and_o in_o truth_n the_o matter_n be_v in_o christ_n hand_n you_o read_v of_o a_o retiring-chamber_n for_o the_o people_n of_o god_n in_o day_n of_o calamity_n isa_n 26.20_o come_v my_o people_n enter_v into_o your_o chamber_n and_o shut_v the_o door_n about_o you_o hide_v yourselves_o for_o a_o little_a moment_n until_o my_o indignation_n be_v overpast_a be_v there_o retiring-chamber_n in_o the_o day_n of_o god_n controversy_n when_o he_o come_v to_o contend_v and_o smite_v down_o unto_o
