that_o suspect_v his_o estate_n that_o will_v think_v much_o of_o his_o pain_n to_o spend_v day_n after_o day_n and_o time_n after_o time_n to_o search_v into_o it_o and_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a to_o secure_v it_o why_o what_o account_n do_v we_o make_v of_o our_o soul_n brethren_n that_o we_o can_v be_v so_o wretched_o careless_a of_o they_o do_v you_o believe_v you_o have_v soul_n do_v you_o believe_v they_o be_v immortal_a do_v you_o believe_v it_o brethren_n that_o they_o shall_v live_v for_o ever_o in_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n or_o else_o in_o unexpressible_a misery_n do_v you_o believe_v brethren_n that_o hypocrite_n shall_v have_v the_o deep_a damnation_n and_o do_v you_o suspect_v yourselves_o to_o be_v hypocrite_n and_o yet_o will_v not_o be_v persuade_v to_o be_v at_o a_o little_a pain_n with_o your_o deceitful_a heart_n yea_o much_o pain_n and_o often_o to_o secure_v the_o eternal_a welfare_n of_o your_o poor_a and_o yet_o precious_a soul_n 2._o suppose_v you_o do_v suspect_v yourselves_o to_o be_v hypocrite_n how_o do_v you_o make_v a_o shift_n to_o quiet_a your_o conscience_n do_v they_o not_o trouble_v you_o be_v your_o heart_n so_o desperate_o heardn_v that_o you_o have_v no_o disquietness_n seize_v upon_o you_o can_v you_o enjoy_v yourselves_o i_o believe_v you_o must_v needs_o then_o sometime_o have_v a_o terrible_a apprehension_n of_o wrath_n approach_v why_o will_v you_o not_o search_v it_o may_v be_v you_o may_v find_v your_o condition_n better_o than_o you_o expect_v and_o so_o may_v live_v more_o comfortable_o and_o sweet_o then_o now_o you_o can_v while_o you_o have_v such_o a_o suspicion_n of_o yourselves_o your_o condition_n may_v be_v safe_a but_o can_v be_v comfortable_a and_o you_o can_v be_v satisfy_v without_o this_o comfort_n in_o respect_n of_o your_o outward_a condition_n be_v that_o so_o great_a in_o your_o eye_n and_o this_o so_o little_a o_o for_o sin_n and_o shame_n let_v we_o set_v a_o high_a value_n upon_o these_o thing_n be_v more_o afraid_a of_o lose_v our_o soul_n then_o of_o lose_v the_o world_n but_o then_o see_v if_o thou_o be_v confident_a of_o thy_o condition_n either_o this_o confidence_n be_v well_o ground_a or_o groundless_a and_o whether_o soever_o it_o be_v there_o be_v great_a need_n of_o search_v still_o if_o well_o ground_v brethren_n yet_o we_o must_v know_v that_o the_o renew_v search_v and_o discovery_n of_o the_o soundness_n of_o our_o confidence_n and_o the_o truth_n of_o our_o condition_n be_v that_o which_o will_v renew_v our_o joy_n in_o the_o lord_n our_o thankfulness_n to_o he_o for_o the_o impression_n of_o these_o thing_n upon_o our_o heart_n they_o be_v apt_a to_o wear_v away_o with_o time_n and_o therefore_o if_o we_o will_v keep_v they_o fresh_a upon_o our_o heart_n the_o sweetness_n and_o safety_n of_o our_o condition_n that_o our_o heart_n may_v be_v more_o enlarge_v towards_o the_o lord_n then_o we_o must_v be_v often_o peruse_v our_o evidence_n and_o the_o ground_n of_o our_o confidence_n beside_o alas_o brethren_n how_o much_o do_v daily_o intervene_v which_o be_v enough_o to_o darken_v and_o cloud_v all_o if_o we_o do_v neglect_v this_o great_a work_n of_o search_v it_o may_v be_v within_o a_o while_n our_o heart_n will_v be_v so_o overgrow_v with_o weed_n that_o we_o shall_v not_o discern_v the_o root_n of_o the_o matter_n within_o we_o so_o much_o ash_n that_o we_o shall_v scarce_o find_v the_o fire_n o_o therefore_o keep_v up_o this_o inward_a difficult_a difference_v duty_n of_o a_o diligent_a impartial_a
