be_v better_a thought_n to_o be_v from_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o writer_n than_o from_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n etc._n etc._n some_o reckon_v by_o name_n so_o many_o book_n of_o the_o old_a and_o new_a testament_n and_o go_v about_o to_o prove_v they_o the_o word_n of_o god_n first_o before_o they_o have_v well_o consider_v what_o they_o contain_v but_o i_o think_v we_o shall_v begin_v there_o and_o see_v what_o we_o find_v write_v in_o they_o for_o we_o can_v well_o assert_v any_o thing_n to_o be_v of_o god_n till_o we_o know_v what_o it_o be_v to_o talk_v of_o believe_v this_o or_o that_o to_o be_v a_o revelation_n or_o the_o word_n of_o god_n before_o we_o know_v what_o it_o speak_v be_v very_o inconsiderate_a but_o when_o we_o find_v thing_n that_o be_v apparent_o good_a reasonable_a excellent_a and_o suitable_a to_o the_o understanding_n nature_n and_o circumstance_n of_o man_n a_o design_n most_o profitable_a to_o man_n and_o become_v god_n we_o may_v well_o nay_o can_v but_o think_v god_n the_o supreme_a or_o first_o author_n however_o or_o by_o whosoever_o they_o be_v give_v the_o truth_n will_v have_v be_v the_o same_o have_v they_o never_o be_v write_v but_o as_o they_o be_v write_v the_o way_n of_o their_o delivery_n the_o matter_n of_o fact_n or_o historical_a part_n appear_v to_o have_v all_o the_o mark_n of_o truth_n a_o history_n can_v or_o at_o least_o needs_o have_v can_v in_o reason_v but_o be_v believe_v whosoever_o for_o instance_n shall_v deny_v the_o history_n of_o jesus_n christ_n may_v as_o well_o reject_v all_o history_n or_o question_v the_o truth_n of_o every_o thing_n other_o declare_v as_o witness_n which_o will_v be_v very_o foolish_a nor_o can_v such_o a_o one_o reasonable_o desire_v any_o man_n shall_v believe_v he_o in_o any_o thing_n he_o relate_v though_o never_o so_o probable_a now_o as_o god_n in_o his_o good_a providence_n have_v give_v we_o the_o bible_n a_o book_n if_o considerate_o read_v appear_v to_o be_v yet_o to_o be_v idolise_v as_o the_o uncorruptible_a word_n of_o god_n but_o to_o be_v due_o use_v to_o our_o benefit_n and_o i_o think_v i_o may_v be_v bold_a to_o say_v in_o relation_n to_o the_o content_n of_o this_o book_n and_o all_o other_o whatsoever_o have_v not_o a_o instruction_n in_o it_o to_o inform_v man_n of_o his_o duty_n to_o god_n and_o his_o neighbour_n or_o can_v yield_v a_o argument_n to_o persuade_v he_o to_o be_v reconcile_v thereto_o can_v rational_o be_v think_v a_o dictate_v of_o god_n but_o be_v better_o suppose_v shall_v there_o be_v find_v any_o such_o thing_n mere_o from_o man._n and_o i_o think_v though_o we_o grant_v that_o the_o bible_n be_v not_o free_a from_o all_o manner_n of_o corruption_n but_o that_o some_o mistake_v have_v be_v therein_o make_v at_o least_o by_o coppier_n though_o we_o affirm_v many_o fault_n to_o have_v be_v commit_v by_o translator_n so_o that_o better_a translation_n be_v not_o only_o to_o be_v desire_v but_o also_o want_v yet_o we_o can_v rational_o have_v the_o
