conceive_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o withdraw_n of_o the_o light_n of_o truth_n but_o of_o the_o light_n of_o peace_n and_o tranquillity_n for_o at_o the_o evening_n of_o this_o day_n man_n shall_v look_v unto_o the_o earth_n and_o behold_v trouble_v and_o darkness_n and_o dimness_n of_o anguish_n and_o this_o will_v immediate_o precede_v the_o conversion_n of_o the_o jew_n through_o the_o opposition_n of_o turk_n and_o pope_n for_o this_o will_v be_v the_o time_n when_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o of_o the_o whole_a world_n shall_v be_v gather_v together_o to_o the_o battle_n of_o the_o great_a day_n of_o god_n almighty_n 10._o at_o what_o time_n man_n shall_v beat_v their_o ploughshare_n into_o sword_n and_o their_o pruniâ—â—_n hook_n into_o spear_n but_o though_o that_o will_v be_v the_o dark_a part_n of_o the_o day_n yet_o we_o must_v expect_v gloomy_a time_n till_o then_o though_o with_o intermix_a beam_n of_o light_n wherein_o god_n will_v still_o be_v set_v this_o over_o against_o that_o to_o the_o end_n that_o man_n shall_v find_v nothing_o after_o he_o and_o thus_o god_n will_v chequer_n out_o the_o gospel-day_n till_o that_o be_v fulfil_v which_o be_v speak_v by_o the_o prophet_n isaiah_n 1._o arise_v shine_v for_o thy_o light_n be_v come_v and_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v rise_v upon_o thou_o and_o see_v the_o day_n shorten_v and_o the_o who_o power_n be_v give_v to_o take_v peace_n from_o the_o earth_n and_o near_o the_o evening_n still_o the_o dark_a that_o which_o concern_v we_o be_v to_o be_v in_o a_o posture_n of_o humiliation_n and_o preparedness_n for_o the_o reception_n of_o these_o dark_a dispensation_n here_o be_v the_o faith_n and_o patience_n of_o the_o saint_n use_v 4._o let_v what_o have_v be_v say_v be_v for_o exhortation_n 4._o first_o to_o pray_v for_o the_o conversion_n of_o god_n ancient_a people_n the_o seed_n of_o abraham_n isaac_n and_o jacob_n for_o who_o sake_n they_o be_v belove_v till_o when_o the_o day_n shall_v not_o be_v clear_a nor_o dark_a but_o then_o the_o sun_n shall_v no_o more_o go_v down_o nor_o the_o moon_n withdraw_v itself_o 20._o but_o the_o lord_n shall_v be_v a_o everlasting_a light_n &_o the_o day_n of_o mourning_n be_v end_v 7._o therefore_o hold_v not_o your_o peace_n day_n nor_o night_n you_o that_o be_v the_o lord_n remembrancer_n keep_v not_o silence_n light_n shall_v not_o be_v clear_a nor_o dark_a or_o as_o after_o the_o original_a not_o be_v precious_a nor_o thickness_n which_o show_v we_o that_o the_o light_n of_o truth_n be_v precious_a and_o though_o that_o of_o peace_n be_v so_o likewise_o yet_o not_o of_o equal_a value_n for_o christ_n come_v not_o to_o send_v peace_n on_o the_o earth_n but_o the_o sword_n by_o the_o publication_n of_o the_o truth_n which_o be_v of_o so_o great_a esteem_n with_o he_o that_o he_o bear_v witness_v to_o it_o to_o the_o death_n even_o when_o he_o witness_v a_o good_a confession_n before_o pontius_n pilate_n concern_v the_o truth_n of_o his_o kingly_a power_n and_o government_n which_o the_o apostle_n adjure_v we_o to_o attend_v as_o of_o great_a moment_n though_o pilate_n slight_v it_o say_v church_n and_o that_o for_o this_o end_n that_o the_o generation_n to_o come_v may_v put_v their_o hope_n and_o trust_v in_o god_n and_o this_o be_v the_o unanimous_a design_n of_o the_o penman_n of_o holy_a scripture_n this_o shall_v be_v write_v for_o the_o generation_n to_o come_v 18._o and_o the_o people_n which_o shall_v be_v create_v shall_v praise_v the_o lord_n three_o here_o in_o this_o world_n the_o saint_n may_v live_v exemplary_o blameless_a and_o harmless_a 15._o as_o the_o son_n of_o god_n without_o rebuke_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o a_o crooked_a and_o perverse_a generation_n body_n passive_o as_o to_o their_o pattern_n here_o in_o this_o world_n the_o saint_n have_v opportunity_n of_o reprove_v sin_n confute_v error_n instruct_v the_o ignorant_a warn_v the_o unruly_a comfort_v the_o feeble_n mind_v pray_v for_o their_o relation_n and_o friend_n etc._n etc._n now_o there_o be_v no_o such_o thing_n in_o heaven_n where_o there_o be_v no_o sin_n no_o error_n no_o ignorance_n no_o unruliness_n none_o afflict_a no_o pray_v for_o relation_n ejus_fw-la i_o remember_v how_o die_a mr._n rollock_n be_v much_o offend_v with_o a_o kinsman_n for_o desire_v his_o prayer_n when_o he_o shall_v come_v to_o heaven_n god_n will_v have_v but_o one_o intercessor_n there_o hence_o they_o may_v do_v good_a to_o the_o body_n of_o men._n for_o they_o may_v feed_v the_o good_n health_n ease_n credit_n liberty_n house_n land_n country_n life_n etc._n etc._n for_o bless_a be_v the_o dead_a which_o die_v in_o the_o lord_n 3._o from_o henceforth_o yea_o say_v the_o spirit_n that_o they_o may_v rest_v from_o their_o labour_n and_o their_o work_n follow_v they_o and_o this_o be_v such_o a_o service_n as_o the_o very_a angel_n be_v in_o no_o wise_a capable_a of_o so_o that_o you_o see_v there_o be_v many_o service_n which_o the_o saint_n may_v do_v here_o for_o christ_n which_o they_o can_v do_v in_o heaven_n indeed_o if_o they_o can_v return_v to_o this_o life_n again_o they_o may_v do_v such_o work_n as_o these_o for_o when_o lazarus_n be_v raise_v from_o the_o dead_a he_o entertain_v christ_n again_o 2_o and_o when_o tabytha_n be_v raise_v from_o and_o vanish_v away_o so_o he_o that_o go_v down_o to_o the_o grave_n shall_v come_v up_o no_o more_o he_o shall_v return_v no_o more_o to_o his_o house_n neither_o shall_v his_o place_n know_v he_o any_o more_o last_o there_o be_v some_o gift_n of_o grace_n which_o can_v be_v exercise_v in_o heaven_n for_o first_o here_o the_o saint_n do_v believe_v whereas_o in_o heaven_n faith_n be_v turn_v enlighten_v with_o the_o save_a knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n we_o ought_v not_o indeed_o to_o be_v sceptic_n in_o religion_n but_o every_o one_o to_o be_v persuade_v in_o his_o own_o mind_n yet_o in_o some_o thing_n peradventure_o thou_o be_v in_o the_o light_n and_o i_o be_o in_o the_o dark_a in_o other_o the_o day_n perhaps_o shine_v unto_o i_o and_o not_o to_o thou_o let_v we_o yield_v to_o the_o dispensation_n of_o the_o day_n and_o keep_v the_o unity_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o bond_n of_o peace_n and_o if_o in_o any_o thing_n we_o be_v different_o mind_v god_n shall_v reveal_v even_o this_o unto_o we_o nevertheless_o whereunto_o we_o have_v already_o attain_v 16._o let_v we_o walk_v by_o the_o same_o rule_n let_v we_o mind_n the_o same_o thing_n for_o thus_o there_o be_v order_v the_o ruler_n of_o the_o darkness_n of_o this_o world_n that_o no_o more_o either_o of_o ignorance_n error_n heresy_n superstition_n and_o idolatry_n on_o the_o one_o side_n or_o of_o tribulation_n persecution_n and_o hostile_a opposition_n to_o the_o truth_n and_o peace_n on_o the_o other_o shall_v prevail_v further_o than_o he_o have_v determine_v and_o whatsoever_o he_o have_v
