fallacious_a for_o he_o may_v as_o well_o argue_v that_o the_o light_n can_v shine_v in_o darkness_n whereas_o a_o man_n may_v have_v the_o light_n in_o he_o when_o he_o iâ—_n not_o in_o it_o or_o walk_v not_o in_o the_o spirit_n and_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v that_o god_n or_o his_o presence_n be_v not_o in_o the_o world_n because_o the_o world_n know_v he_o not_o but_o be_v in_o darkness_n and_o in_o that_o sense_n without_o god_n this_o be_v absurd_a and_o fallacious_a of_o the_o nature_n of_o his_o argument_n bapt._n to_o what_o then_o shall_v such_o turn_v within_o for_o light_n that_o have_v there_o nothing_o but_o darkness_n answ._n this_o contradict_v his_o former_a confess_v that_o light_n be_v in_o every_o man_n that_o do_v convince_v of_o sin_n which_o be_v something_o beside_o darkness_n but_o there_o be_v those_o that_o put_v darkness_n for_o light_n and_o he_o have_v herein_o do_v no_o less_o to_o his_o own_o confutation_n and_o sure_o that_o light_n in_o every_o man_n that_o convince_v of_o sin_n be_v worth_a the_o turn_n to_o to_o lead_v the_o mind_n out_o of_o sin_n bapt._n the_o four_o proof_n isaiah_n 8.20_o from_o this_o may_v be_v gather_v that_o those_o that_o be_v not_o principled_a with_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o testimony_n of_o christ_n but_o contrary_a thereto_o do_v exhort_v be_v in_o the_o dark_a and_o blind_a without_o any_o light_n in_o they_o they_o have_v no_o light_n in_o they_o if_o that_o be_v so_o there_o be_v a_o people_n that_o have_v no_o light_n such_o have_v neither_o father_n son_n spiritual_a as_o write_v in_o the_o heart_n and_o the_o substance_n of_o this_o law_n enjoin_v to_o love_v the_o lord_n god_n with_o all_o the_o heart_n and_o soul_n and_o thy_o neighbour_n as_o thyself_o which_o christ_n say_v to_o the_o lawyer_n this_o do_v and_o thou_o shall_v live_v after_o he_o have_v ask_v he_o what_o he_o shall_v do_v to_o inherit_v eternal_a life_n luke_n 10.25_o 26_o it_o as_o the_o quaker_n christ_n this_o show_v the_o great_a ignorance_n and_o folly_n of_o this_o our_o opposer_n and_o his_o gross_a and_o apparent_a contradiction_n and_o it_o be_v not_o his_o scornful_o say_v over_o and_o over_o thus_o you_o may_v see_v the_o quaker_n christ_n that_o can_v confute_v we_o or_o destroy_v our_o christ_n who_o be_v god_n christ._n bap._n it_o will_v be_v a_o man_n come_v into_o the_o world_n which_o he_o may_v as_o well_o say_v be_v natural_a in_o the_o fountain_n as_o in_o the_o stream_n 3._o to_o tell_v of_o the_o word_n god_n co-creator_n with_o the_o father_n be_v all_o one_o as_o to_o tell_v of_o god_n be_v co-creator_n with_o god_n if_o the_o father_n be_v god_n and_o this_o be_v to_o make_v two_o god_n two_o creator_n etc._n etc._n for_o god_n co-creator_n with_o the_o father_n plain_o imply_v two_o thus_o nonsense_n confusion_n and_o blasphemy_n be_v heap_v up_o against_o the_o light_n within_o to_o lessen_v misrepresent_v and_o undervalue_v it_o and_o the_o doctrine_n of_o it_o so_o true_o hold_v forth_o by_o we_o how_o great_o be_v the_o baptist_n herein_o repugnant_a to_o the_o testimony_n of_o john_n baptist_n and_o the_o apostle_n john_n touch_v christ_n the_o light_n bapt._n the_o spirit_n in_o man_n and_o obedience_n to_o it_o be_v not_o the_o cause_n of_o man_n union_n with_o god_n but_o the_o reception_n of_o for_o to_o guide_v they_o in_o their_o obedience_n god-ward_n without_o the_o scripture_n but_o as_o a_o comforter_n by_o the_o application_n of_o his_o promise_n answ._n herein_o be_v the_o sufficiency_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o light_n to_o guide_v oppose_v and_o deny_v without_o the_o scripture_n by_o this_o our_o opposer_n as_o if_o the_o scripture_n must_v needs_o help_v christ_n the_o light_n or_o spirit_n and_o as_o if_o the_o guidance_n of_o the_o spirit_n now_o be_v not_o to_o be_v esteem_v of_o as_o scripture_n inspire_v as_o well_o as_o the_o scripture_n be_v when_o give_v by_o inspiration_n to_o the_o man_n of_o god_n of_o old_a or_o when_o it_o be_v confess_v that_o christ_n within_o be_v the_o comforter_n he_o mean_v by_o the_o application_n of_o promise_n without_o which_o be_v still_o to_o detract_v and_o diminish_v from_o the_o spirit_n sufficiency_n both_o in_o guide_v and_o comfort_v though_o it_o lead_v into_o all_o truth_n and_o bring_v to_o know_v the_o right_a use_n of_o the_o scripture_n which_o we_o do_v own_o in_o prefer_v the_o spirit_n and_o own_v its_o guidance_n to_o lead_v into_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n in_o he_o prove_v his_o doctrine_n whole_o by_o the_o scripture_n without_o p._n 20._o answ._n if_o he_o be_v far_o from_o turn_v they_o to_o the_o light_n within_o this_o will_v make_v he_o oppose_v his_o own_o commission_n which_o be_v to_o turn_v man_n to_o the_o light_n within_o which_o his_o prove_v his_o doctrine_n by_o the_o scripture_n be_v no_o reason_n against_o for_o he_o be_v a_o minister_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o his_o ministry_n tend_v to_o bring_v to_o the_o spirit_n in_o reason_v out_o of_o the_o scripture_n he_o reason_v for_o christ_n the_o light_n and_o in_o prove_v christ_n suffer_v and_o resurrection_n he_o witness_v unto_o the_o power_n by_o which_o he_o be_v raise_v and_o the_o love_n and_o good_a will_n of_o god_n in_o send_v his_o son_n but_o this_o w._n b._n in_o
