people_n or_o nation_n praise_v you_o the_o people_n of_o god_n here_o moses_n direct_v his_o speech_n to_o all_o infidel_n and_o heathen_a folk_n to_o the_o intent_n that_o the_o exhortation_n which_o he_o have_v set_v down_o heretofore_o may_v have_v the_o more_o force_n hitherto_o he_o have_v speak_v to_o the_o believer_n and_o to_o such_o as_o have_v ear_n to_o hear_v god_n withal_o and_o to_o such_o as_o he_o call_v to_o his_o school_n howbeit_o forasmuch_o as_o there_o be_v so_o much_o troublesomnesse_n and_o scrupulousness_n in_o we_o as_o be_v pitiful_a to_o see_v moses_n revenge_v the_o blood_n of_o his_o servant_n and_o requite_v vengeance_n to_o his_o enemy_n but_o be_v merciful_a to_o his_o land_n and_o to_o his_o people_n here_o be_v three_o thing_n in_o effect_n which_o i_o will_v touch_v in_o few_o word_n and_o it_o will_v be_v enough_o to_o conclude_v this_o song_n withal_o the_o first_o be_v that_o god_n say_v he_o will_v revenge_v the_o blood_n of_o his_o servant_n now_o under_o this_o say_n he_o show_v we_o that_o we_o may_v well_o be_v afflict_v for_o a_o time_n so_o far_o forth_o that_o even_o our_o very_a blood_n shall_v not_o be_v spare_v whether_o it_o be_v that_o god_n punish_v we_o for_o the_o fault_n which_o we_o have_v commit_v against_o he_o or_o that_o he_o will_v be_v to_o try_v our_o patience_n the_o thing_n then_o whereof_o we_o be_v warn_v be_v that_o if_o god_n think_v good_a to_o have_v our_o blood_n shed_v we_o must_v not_o think_v it_o strange_a nor_o shrink_v from_o the_o promise_n which_o he_o have_v make_v we_o in_o avow_v himself_o to_o be_v our_o god_n and_o the_o defender_n of_o our_o life_n neither_o must_v we_o think_v that_o those_o promise_n be_v disannul_v though_o our_o god_n suffer_v we_o to_o be_v handle_v so_o cruel_o but_o let_v we_o tarry_v the_o time_n till_o he_o revenge_v our_o blood_n for_o he_o will_v then_o show_v how_o dear_a and_o precious_a our_o life_n be_v unto_o he_o thus_o much_o concern_v the_o first_o point_n as_o touch_v the_o second_o he_o say_v that_o god_n will_v requite_v his_o enemy_n with_o the_o like_a to_o the_o end_n we_o shall_v know_v that_o all_o the_o felicity_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o of_o the_o despiser_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v accurse_v â—_o psal._n 37._o â—_o &_o therefore_o that_o we_o must_v not_o repine_v at_o they_o therefore_o now_o then_o if_o we_o see_v god_n enemy_n to_o be_v rich_a to_o have_v their_o ease_n in_o this_o world_n and_o to_o welter_v in_o all_o pleasure_n let_v we_o let_v they_o alone_o and_o not_o be_v draw_v
