testimony_n to_o this_o truth_n take_v in_o the_o apostle_n paul_n in_o rom._n 8.10_o and_o if_o christ_n be_v in_o you_o the_o body_n be_v dead_a because_o of_o sin_n but_o the_o spirit_n be_v life_n but_o again_o this_o truth_n do_v inform_v we_o as_o saint_n of_o our_o duty_n to_o inquire_v after_o god_n will_v in_o all_o we_o do_v or_o require_v other_o to_o do_v the_o will_n of_o christ_n be_v that_o the_o will_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v do_v so_o be_v the_o will_n of_o saint_n in_o conformity_n to_o the_o will_n of_o christ_n their_o head_n and_o if_o to_o be_v do_v then_o sure_o to_o be_v know_v nay_o saint_n ought_v to_o do_v nothing_o before_o they_o know_v the_o will_n of_o god_n in_o it_o if_o this_o rule_n be_v observe_v there_o will_v not_o be_v so_o much_o do_v and_o undo_n as_o work_v he_o will_v see_v god_n will_n this_o be_v the_o true_a reason_n why_o the_o man_n of_o this_o world_n with_o all_o their_o power_n and_o policy_n can_v make_v saint_n worship_v as_o they_o know_v to_o they_o to_o be_v his_o will_n that_o they_o shall_v worship_v he_o in_o if_o man_n be_v true_o zealous_a for_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n it_o can_v go_v no_o far_o than_o this_o that_o such_o as_o know_v he_o and_o his_o will_n shall_v worship_v he_o according_a to_o his_o will_n make_v know_v to_o they_o for_o any_o thing_n else_o can_v be_v the_o true_a worship_n of_o the_o true_a god_n now_o such_o as_o know_v god_n and_o his_o will_n in_o truth_n the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n they_o be_v a_o willing_a people_n to_o worship_n god_n according_a to_o his_o will_n make_v know_v to_o they_o by_o his_o spirit_n in_o which_o they_o worship_v he_o if_o this_o be_v serious_o consider_v in_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n it_o will_v appear_v to_o be_v the_o beauty_n of_o saint_n not_o to_o act_v before_o light_n to_o know_v god_n will_n and_o so_o to_o do_v it_o therefore_o saint_n shall_v be_v teach_v one_o another_o in_o the_o spirit_n but_o not_o to_o force_v any_o where_o the_o spirit_n have_v not_o teach_v then_o there_o be_v no_o need_n of_o force_v for_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n that_o teach_v do_v also_o lead_v his_o people_n into_o obey_v of_o his_o truth_n and_o wil._n the_o saint_n in_o truth_n speak_v thus_o in_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n to_o god_n not_o my_o will_n nor_o the_o will_n of_o any_o man_n or_o man_n but_o thy_o will_n be_v do_v therefore_o of_o the_o fruitless_a labour_n and_o contention_n of_o all_o those_o that_o labour_n and_o con_v contend_v mere_o for_o the_o world_n in_o part_n or_o in_o whole_a for_o if_o this_o be_v truth_n that_o all_o thing_n under_o the_o sun_n be_v vanity_n than_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v fruitless_a labour_n and_o contention_n which_o if_o it_o attain_v what_o it_o seek_v yet_o find_v nothing_o but_o variety_n and_o in_o it_o vexation_n of_o spirit_n if_o this_o be_v true_o set_v home_o upon_o our_o spirit_n by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n satan_n will_v have_v few_o to_o worship_v he_o upon_o that_o temptation_n which_o he_o assault_v our_o saviour_n with_o in_o show_v he_o the_o world_n in_o all_o its_o glory_n as_o we_o come_v more_o to_o know_v god_n in_o the_o spirit_n so_o that_o we_o by_o that_o spirit_n know_v the_o world_n in_o its_o vanity_n and_o emptiness_n then_o shall_v we_o labour_v and_o contend_v less_o for_o the_o vanity_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o world_n of_o vanity_n then_o shall_v we_o see_v the_o vanity_n of_o our_o laborious_a contend_v for_o that_o which_o be_v but_o vanity_n till_o than_o we_o shall_v be_v lay_v out_o our_o money_n for_o that_o which_o be_v not_o bread_n and_o our_o spirit_n for_o that_o which_o profit_v not_o for_o till_o god_n gather_v up_o our_o spirit_n by_o his_o spirit_n to_o himself_o the_o world_n will_v hold_v we_o and_o all_o that_o while_o we_o be_v but_o wrap_v up_o in_o the_o arm_n of_o vanity_n and_o dandle_v upon_o the_o knee_n of_o death_n for_o all_o thing_n under_o the_o sun_n be_v vanity_n all_o that_o be_v below_o god_n be_v too_o low_a for_o a_o saint_n to_o labour_v after_o or_o contend_v for_o this_o truth_n not_o only_o concern_v those_o worldling_n that_o be_v bury_v alive_a in_o the_o world_n but_o it_o may_v make_v saint_n blush_v yea_o the_o best_a of_o saint_n to_o consider_v how_o they_o have_v stretch_v forth_o their_o hand_n to_o grasp_v the_o wind_n and_o open_v their_o heart_n to_o let_v in_o vanity_n and_o upon_o this_o regard_n have_v be_v ready_a to_o conclude_v it_o be_v good_a to_o be_v here_o let_v we_o build_v tabernacle_n and_o so_o have_v labour_v to_o blow_v up_o this_o bladder_n of_o vanity_n with_o these_o please_a imagination_n to_o our_o flesh_n of_o honour_n profit_n &_o pleasure_n of_o this_o world_n till_o god_n prick_v the_o bladder_n and_o let_v out_o this_o wind_n so_o that_o then_o we_o see_v it_o vanity_n but_o true_o so_o much_o of_o this_o old_a man_n as_o be_v in_o saint_n make_v a_o very_a uncomely_a sight_n that_o heir_n of_o glory_n joynt-heir_n with_o christ_n in_o glory_n such_o as_o have_v a_o more_o exceed_o and_o eternal_a weight_n of_o glory_n prepare_v for_o they_o &_o wait_v to_o swallow_v they_o up_o to_o all_o eternity_n shall_v be_v pursue_v after_o vanity_n it_o best_o become_v saint_n to_o be_v always_o upon_o the_o wing_n of_o faith_n for_o heaven_n above_o those_o vanity_n there_o be_v no_o foot_n in_o the_o world_n for_o a_o saint_n the_o world_n be_v a_o ocean_n of_o uncertain_a wave_n that_o go_v one_o way_n &_o the_o other_o way_n as_o the_o wind_n drive_v they_o so_o that_o the_o dove_n can_v have_v no_o rest_n for_o the_o sole_a of_o her_o foot_n till_o she_o come_v to_o the_o ark_n from_o whence_o she_o go_v out_o a_o saint_n shall_v find_v rest_n in_o nothing_o but_o in_o god_n his_o original_n it_o be_v vanity_n in_o all_o to_o pursue_v vanity_n but_o especial_o in_o saint_n for_o their_o life_n be_v hide_v with_o christ_n in_o god_n it_o be_v great_a folly_n for_o a_o empty_a stomach_n to_o suck_v in_o the_o wind_n for_o its_o satisfaction_n and_o this_o title_n we_o may_v give_v to_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o wise_a worldling_n which_o make_v the_o prodigal_n choice_n to_o feed_v on_o husk_n if_o he_o can_v have_v have_v enough_o of_o they_o this_o wind_n may_v fill_v but_o it_o can_v never_o satisfy_v but_o sure_o this_o be_v exceed_v folly_n in_o saint_n who_o have_v bread_n enough_o in_o their_o father_n house_n and_o their_o treasure_n in_o heaven_n to_o have_v their_o heart_n any_o where_o but_o in_o heaven_n where_o their_o treasure_n be_v and_o it_o be_v much_o to_o the_o dishonour_n of_o god_n who_o be_v the_o glorious_a and_o satisfy_a interest_n of_o his_o people_n that_o they_o shall_v be_v run_v to_o empty_a cistern_n when_o he_o himself_o be_v a_o eternal_a fountain_n of_o love_n life_n and_o exceed_a glory_n to_o they_o and_o doubtless_o saint_n in_o truth_n be_v very_o tender_a of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n these_o child_n of_o love_n be_v much_o in_o love_n with_o their_o father_n glory_n it_o grieve_v their_o spirit_n to_o see_v profane_a wretch_n dishonour_v he_o but_o it_o do_v exceed_o wound_v they_o if_o they_o be_v find_v actor_n in_o such_o a_o work_n themselves_o and_o if_o so_o than_o we_o shall_v be_v very_o watchful_a lest_o we_o be_v under_o the_o fruitless_a labour_n and_o contention_n of_o those_o that_o labour_n &_o contend_v for_o the_o world_n in_o part_n or_o in_o whole_a if_o this_o truth_n be_v spiritual_o understand_v sure_o saint_n will_v be_v more_o careless_a of_o the_o world_n frown_n and_o less_o solicitous_a for_o their_o smile_n and_o favour_n their_o best_a gift_n and_o their_o sour_a look_n be_v all_o comprehend_v under_o this_o term_n vanity_n and_o he_o that_o have_v their_o smile_n have_v no_o less_o of_o vanity_n than_o he_o that_o have_v their_o frown_n for_o they_o be_v vanity_n themselves_o and_o
will_v also_o glory_v through_o the_o freegrace_n of_o god_n in_o this_o that_o christ_n be_v make_v his_o righteousness_n and_o justification_n so_o that_o he_o stand_v complete_a before_o god_n in_o exceed_a riches_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o kindness_n in_o christ_n jesus_n ephes_n 2.7_o god_n do_v to_o all_o eternity_n set_v open_a his_o bosom_n and_o not_o give_v to_o such_o as_o be_v heir_n of_o himself_o flagon_n but_o ocean_n of_o love_n and_o glory_n it_o must_v needs_o be_v glory_n if_o it_o be_v god_n love_n now_o this_o i_o and_o more_o than_o this_o more_o than_o eternity_n can_v know_v no_o other_o god_n yet_o every_o piece_n and_o parcel_n of_o it_o sanctify_a be_v a_o blessing_n and_o a_o rich_a mercy_n of_o god_n to_o his_o choose_a people_n love_n make_v all_o condition_n good_a cheer_n its_o sin_n be_v forgive_v it_o stand_v complete_a in_o christ_n and_o be_v a_o heir_n of_o god_n a_o joynt-heire_n with_o christ_n however_o man_n may_v slight_v the_o riches_n of_o
