and_o as_o for_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o subdue_a of_o lust_n they_o have_v a_o good_a hope_n and_o believe_v as_o well_o as_o the_o best_a and_o for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n and_o find_v such_o comfort_n as_o they_o have_v and_o this_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o the_o soul_n be_v chief_o set_v upon_o now_o all_o this_o while_n that_o we_o come_v thus_o to_o christ_n we_o must_v not_o think_v that_o christ_n be_v to_o blame_v if_o he_o tarry_v a_o little_a long_o than_o we_o expect_v for_o we_o may_v seek_v he_o and_o not_o find_v he_o because_o we_o seek_v not_o so_o much_o he_o as_o his_o benefit_n and_o the_o rich_a treasure_n of_o grace_n and_o mercy_n and_o peace_n that_o be_v lay_v up_o in_o he_o without_o measure_n the_o great_a part_n of_o the_o world_n do_v not_o love_v their_o soul_n nor_o the_o lord_n jesus_n so_o well_o as_o to_o love_v he_o for_o his_o grace_n and_o goodness_n sake_n but_o yet_o among_o better_a man_n there_o be_v a_o world_n by_o which_o his_o life_n be_v nourish_v which_o argue_v it_o be_v breed_v of_o those_o promise_n of_o which_o it_o be_v now_o feed_v though_o a_o man_n be_v not_o always_o able_a to_o tell_v what_o promise_v it_o be_v sometime_o a_o word_n of_o reproof_n or_o of_o counsel_n may_v sink_v deep_a into_o a_o man_n when_o god_n set_v it_o well_o on_o and_o may_v make_v a_o deep_a impression_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o man_n and_o may_v so_o turn_v about_o the_o course_n of_o their_o life_n as_o that_o thereby_o they_o may_v reform_v all_o common_a and_o outward_a and_o know_v soul_n sin_n which_o before_o be_v ever_o cause_n and_o matter_n of_o reproof_n but_o that_o be_v not_o so_o safe_a a_o work_n of_o christ_n not_o such_o a_o strong_a evidence_n of_o our_o spiritual_a life_n when_o such_o a_o word_n of_o reproof_n or_o counsel_n have_v set_v we_o in_o such_o a_o course_n and_o we_o have_v thereupon_o refrain_v game_a and_o break_v of_o the_o sabbath_n and_o vain_a fashion_n this_o be_v well_o but_o it_o be_v not_o so_o safe_a a_o sign_n of_o our_o new_a birth_n for_o this_o may_v befall_v even_o a_o hypocrite_n he_o may_v be_v so_o convince_v by_o a_o word_n of_o grace_n and_o wise_a counsel_n as_o may_v strong_o turn_v the_o stream_n of_o his_o course_n another_o way_n and_o yet_o be_v without_o any_o life_n and_o power_n of_o godliness_n only_o the_o word_n of_o promise_n be_v able_a to_o work_v grace_n and_o life_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o man_n for_o the_o ground_n of_o the_o point_n be_v this_o point_n ground_n of_o the_o point_n we_o can_v have_v a_o spirit_n of_o life_n wrought_v in_o we_o by_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n nor_o by_o the_o word_n of_o the_o law_n gal._n 3.5_o he_o that_o minister_v to_o you_o in_o the_o spirit_n and_o then_o have_v his_o head_n wound_v he_o will_v expose_v himself_o or_o any_o member_n to_o any_o danger_n rather_o than_o loose_v his_o life_n and_o so_o if_o god_n vouchsafe_v pardon_n of_o sin_n and_o peace_n of_o conscience_n you_o will_v find_v this_o a_o evident_a sign_n of_o pardon_n and_o peace_n together_o and_o a_o evident_a effect_n of_o they_o both_o a_o serious_a care_n and_o a_o constant_a endeavour_n to_o maintain_v and_o keep_v that_o peace_n that_o as_o you_o see_v god_n have_v be_v very_o gracious_a in_o speak_v peace_n to_o you_o so_o you_o will_v preserve_v that_o peace_n above_o all_o the_o blessing_n in_o the_o world_n that_o whatsoever_o you_o lose_v else_o though_o you_o loose_a friend_n and_o good_n and_o land_n and_o trade_n health_n and_o liberty_n you_o will_v not_o loose_v your_o peace_n though_o you_o hazard_v the_o loss_n of_o they_o all_o to_o preserve_v and_o maintain_v your_o peace_n that_o peace_n when_o it_o be_v give_v you_o be_v so_o unspeakable_a and_o glorious_a that_o life_n itself_o be_v not_o to_o be_v compare_v to_o this_o mercy_n which_o god_n have_v vouchsafe_v we_o when_o he_o give_v we_o peace_n psal_n 63.3_o thy_o love_a kindness_n be_v better_a than_o life_n a_o man_n that_o have_v find_v something_o that_o be_v better_a than_o his_o life_n he_o will_v loose_v his_o life_n rather_o than_o it_o and_o much_o grieve_v they_o so_o much_o as_o in_o this_o case_n they_o be_v put_v to_o the_o blot_v out_o of_o the_o sense_n of_o this_o pardon_n have_v be_v more_o bitter_a to_o they_o then_o death_n itself_o and_o if_o it_o be_v not_o so_o that_o christian_a man_n in_o such_o a_o case_n do_v not_o more_o shame_v themselves_o before_o god_n and_o loathe_v themselves_o for_o all_o the_o evil_n they_o have_v have_v put_v upon_o such_o as_o be_v careless_a to_o maintain_v that_o peace_n with_o god_n which_o he_o have_v vouchsafe_v they_o and_o therefore_o if_o god_n give_v we_o heart_n to_o keep_v our_o peace_n it_o be_v a_o evident_a sign_n god_n be_v at_o peace_n with_o we_o if_o we_o fly_v from_o sin_n as_o from_o the_o grave_n or_o hell_n then_o sure_o those_o sin_n be_v pardon_v which_o we_o do_v abhor_v and_o that_o peace_n and_o reconsiliation_n be_v procure_v which_o we_o desire_v that_o be_v the_o nature_n of_o spiritual_a life_n life_n property_n of_o spiritual_a life_n it_o desire_v to_o maintain_v itself_o and_o to_o expel_v all_o that_o be_v contrary_a to_o it_o if_o the_o body_n have_v take_v any_o noisome_a and_o hurtful_a thing_n it_o will_v vomit_v and_o cast_v it_o out_o and_o will_v not_o let_v it_o rest_v there_o in_o quiet_a if_o it_o be_v a_o enemy_n to_o our_o life_n it_o will_v strive_v against_o it_o if_o there_o be_v any_o spiritual_a life_n in_o we_o it_o can_v let_v sin_n rest_v in_o we_o it_o will_v strive_v against_o it_o and_o never_o rest_n till_o it_o be_v shut_v of_o it_o any_o way_n some_o way_n or_o other_o out_o it_o must_v though_o he_o shame_v himself_o for_o it_o by_o a_o open_a confession_n and_o though_o it_o many_o way_n trouble_v he_o yet_o out_o it_o must_v it_o be_v a_o enemy_n to_o his_o life_n and_o out_o he_o must_v cast_v
