in_o the_o same_o order_n manner_n and_o form_n as_o he_o do_v with_o they_o in_o time_n past_a which_o persecute_v &_o speak_v against_o the_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n because_o that_o they_o teach_v the_o same_o gospel_n of_o life_n which_o we_o now_o have_v and_o teach_v by_o christ_n we_o live_v and_o for_o he_o we_o suffer_v persecution_n even_o so_o do_v they_o yet_o he_o have_v always_o get_v the_o victory_n as_o well_o for_o they_o as_o for_o we_o and_o therefore_o let_v we_o not_o tempt_v god_n but_o let_v we_o trust_v whole_o in_o he_o his_o mercy_n power_n and_o strength_n and_o also_o have_v in_o hatred_n all_o human_a help_n and_o favour_n whatsoever_o what_o be_v the_o cause_n that_o so_o many_o do_v faint_a fall_n &_o become_v amaze_v in_o their_o mind_n so_o that_o they_o can_v not_o persevere_v in_o that_o truth_n which_o god_n have_v command_v and_o also_o that_o some_o other_o be_v wonderful_o light_v with_o the_o clear_a and_o pure_a light_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o see_v the_o work_n and_o wonder_n so_o admirable_a that_o god_n do_v show_v unto_o they_o by_o the_o same_o be_v so_o sluggish_a and_o cold_a that_o they_o stand_v at_o a_o stay_n and_o care_v not_o whither_o they_o go_v forward_o yea_o or_o no_o sure_o and_o without_o doubt_n there_o be_v none_o other_o cause_n but_o that_o only_a by_o the_o instigation_n of_o the_o devil_n they_o be_v so_o deceive_v that_o they_o rob_v god_n of_o his_o honour_n &_o put_v their_o trust_v whole_o one_o in_o a_o other_o take_v man_n for_o their_o staff_n to_o stay_v upon_o to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v stand_v in_o all_o their_o trouble_n regard_v human_a favour_n so_o much_o that_o they_o leave_v god_n and_o fly_v thereunto_o for_o refuge_n in_o all_o their_o adversity_n and_o calamity_n some_o do_v trust_v in_o their_o riches_n other_o in_o their_o honour_n some_o in_o the_o friendship_n of_o great_a man_n other_o some_o in_o that_o they_o be_v gentleman_n and_o of_o the_o noble_a blood_n and_o so_o forth_o in_o other_o the_o like_a prerogative_n what_o other_o thing_n be_v this_o but_o as_o if_o one_o shall_v trust_v in_o a_o shadow_n or_o a_o smoke_n which_o vanish_v almost_o so_o soon_o as_o it_o be_v see_v when_o that_o we_o consider_v the_o cause_n for_o which_o we_o be_v afflict_v 5.6.7_o whereof_o god_n be_v the_o author_n from_o who_o we_o flee_v and_o do_v put_v our_o trust_n in_o man_n or_o in_o any_o thing_n that_o they_o can_v do_v for_o we_o be_v as_o much_o in_o our_o aid_n as_o to_o trust_v unto_o egypt_n or_o to_o the_o strength_n of_o the_o steadfast_o in_o he_o we_o shall_v be_v necessary_o instruct_v and_o strengthen_v not_o to_o dismay_v we_o but_o to_o be_v more_o firm_a and_o strong_a against_o all_o kind_n of_o evil_n and_o wickedness_n yet_o for_o all_o that_o the_o minister_n of_o god_n will_v only_o teach_v according_a to_o the_o word_n that_o man_n shall_v repose_v their_o trust_n whole_o in_o christ_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o that_o he_o be_v the_o author_n of_o all_o truth_n and_o righteousness_n their_o intent_n be_v nothing_o but_o to_o be_v faithful_a to_o the_o lord_n which_o send_v they_o and_o to_o prepare_v his_o way_n teach_n and_o show_v unto_o man_n by_o the_o law_n the_o condemnation_n in_o which_o they_o be_v by_o sin_n and_o how_o severe_a god_n be_v in_o his_o judgement_n to_o the_o unbeliever_n and_o superstitious_a author_n 4._o of_o guile_n and_o deceit_n and_o the_o follower_n thereof_o contrary_a to_o true_a religion_n they_o will_v reduce_v and_o induce_v as_o many_o as_o they_o can_v to_o jesus_n christ_n their_o master_n by_o the_o gospel_n only_o as_o to_o one_o in_o who_o be_v always_o a_o remedy_n for_o any_o kind_n of_o mischief_n for_o that_o from_o he_o the_o elect_a do_v receive_v all_o thing_n and_o do_v know_v by_o he_o that_o god_n be_v their_o father_n almighty_a they_o do_v not_o nor_o will_v not_o sell_v nor_o give_v themselves_o for_o god_n nor_o yet_o maintain_v themselves_o for_o god_n viccar_n general_a upon_o earth_n nor_o one_o of_o they_o do_v not_o challenge_v more_o authority_n in_o bind_n and_o lose_v blessing_n or_o curse_v nor_o in_o distribute_v the_o word_n of_o god_n than_o a_o other_o do_v they_o show_v themselves_o for_o man_n subject_v to_o all_o human_a infirmity_n as_o well_o one_o as_o another_o of_o they_o they_o do_v teach_v and_o preach_v that_o our_o faith_n must_v not_o come_v from_o man_n from_o they_o but_o from_o god_n the_o word_n of_o truth_n do_v teach_v they_o this_o doctrine_n and_o we_o also_o and_o therefore_o let_v we_o not_o attribute_v any_o kind_n of_o thing_n unto_o any_o manner_n of_o man_n neither_o faithful_a holy_a nor_o saint_n but_o unto_o god_n who_o give_v life_n to_o the_o dead_a &_o some_o time_n convert_v the_o heart_n of_o and_o call_v our_o persecutor_n into_o the_o way_n of_o righteousness_n and_o truth_n although_o the_o man_n be_v weak_a lack_v strength_n &_o do_v often_o stumble_v to_o do_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a yet_o god_n truth_n which_o they_o teach_v be_v not_o so_o although_o they_o be_v discourage_v &_o afraid_a because_o of_o the_o persecution_n which_o they_o see_v yet_o the_o word_n of_o truth_n be_v almighty_a &_o fail_v not_o etc_n all_o the_o disciple_n themselves_o faint_v and_o fear_v
which_o we_o ought_v always_o to_o account_v for_o his_o plant_n with_o a_o daily_a study_n to_o be_v of_o that_o number_a which_o the_o prophet_n david_n speak_v of_o â—_o that_o have_v all_o their_o affection_n &_o delight_n in_o the_o law_n and_o ordinance_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o do_v meditate_v and_o walk_v in_o the_o same_o both_o day_n and_o night_n because_o we_o may_v fructify_v and_o bring_v forth_o good_a fruit_n in_o dew_n season_n god_n do_v plant_v we_o in_o his_o son_n give_v he_o unto_o we_o to_o be_v our_o redeemer_n the_o footstep_n of_o who_o we_o shall_v follow_v and_o in_o our_o work_n religion_n we_o confess_v that_o we_o do_v love_n and_o believe_v he_o but_o it_o be_v a_o lie_n false_a and_o nothing_o so_o we_o say_v that_o we_o do_v believe_v he_o be_v our_o saviour_n but_o it_o be_v not_o true_a for_o why_o we_o seek_v help_v and_o health_n in_o vain_a thing_n that_o he_o do_v neither_o command_v nor_o yet_o allow_v and_o also_o do_v live_v in_o the_o place_n unto_o the_o fruit_n of_o his_o gospel_n in_o our_o heart_n where_o it_o shall_v have_v be_v and_o he_o also_o have_v live_v we_o say_v he_o be_v a_o high_a press_v but_o yet_o we_o account_v have_v condemn_v for_o abominable_a wherefore_o let_v we_o arm_v ourselves_o with_o a_o firm_a &_o sure_a hope_n the_o god_n yea_o our_o god_n will_v be_v our_o sure_a helper_n &_o defender_n gospel_n be_v not_o in_o truth_n but_o dead_a body_n which_o can_v nothing_o hurt_v we_o if_o it_o shall_v be_v great_a &_o foolish_a folly_n to_o fear_v the_o pictor_n paint_v in_o parish_n church_n of_o image_n or_o the_o puppet_o idol_n set_v up_o in_o popish_a temple_n as_o though_o they_o may_v help_v we_o to_o good_a or_o save_v we_o from_o evil_a it_o be_v and_o shall_v be_v ten_o time_n joy_n and_o felicity_n if_o there_o be_v any_o cause_n at_o all_o to_o fear_v those_o dead_a body_n which_o can_v do_v we_o neither_o good_a nor_o harm_n the_o holy_a ghost_n will_v not_o give_v such_o counsel_n clean_o to_o the_o contrary_a 14.15_o say_v fear_v you_o not_o any_o thing_n that_o they_o can_v do_v nor_o be_v you_o not_o trouble_v but_o sanctify_v the_o lord_n god_n in_o your_o ruffle_v roar_v bray_v and_o rail_v at_o we_o and_o do_v so_o extreme_a abhor_v we_o that_o he_o do_v nor_o will_v not_o rest_n to_o use_v all_o kind_n of_o cruelty_n that_o he_o can_v to_o cast_v we_o out_o quite_o from_o he_o and_o so_o our_o saviour_n christ_n do_v confirm_v unto_o we_o by_o saint_n john_n 19.20.21_o say_v if_o the_o world_n do_v abhor_v and_o hate_v you_o then_o remember_v how_o that_o first_o it_o hate_v i_o if_o you_o be_v of_o the_o world_n the_o world_n will_v love_v you_o as_o his_o own_o but_o because_o you_o be_v not_o of_o the_o world_n and_o that_o i_o have_v glorify_v if_o we_o be_v hate_v &_o do_v suffer_v in_o such_o manner_n and_o therefore_o sith_o we_o be_v so_o certify_v and_o show_v by_o such_o sign_n and_o token_n so_o evident_a that_o we_o be_v elect_v and_o choose_v eternal_o in_o christ_n jesus_n and_o that_o we_o be_v partaker_n of_o his_o righteousness_n let_v we_o also_o be_v assure_v of_o it_o that_o we_o shall_v attain_v to_o the_o end_n of_o our_o election_n in_o despite_n of_o the_o world_n and_o all_o the_o minister_n thereof_o gall_v and_o of_o all_o their_o false_a and_o curse_a religion_n when_o that_o man_n without_o
