her_o object_n and_o her_o motion_n towards_o they_o into_o the_o concupiscible_a which_o be_v the_o motion_n of_o the_o sensual_a nature_n to_o those_o thing_n which_o tend_v to_o the_o preservation_n of_o itself_o and_o kind_n by_o desire_n or_o the_o irascible_a which_o be_v the_o aversion_n from_o or_o motion_n of_o the_o sensual_a nature_n against_o those_o thing_n that_o be_v prejudicial_a or_o so_o apprehend_v the_o concupiscible_a appetite_n be_v that_o motion_n of_o nature_n which_o tend_v to_o its_o own_o own_o preservation_n or_o to_o the_o preservation_n of_o its_o kind_n or_o those_o thing_n that_o be_v in_o order_n to_o both_o viz._n wealth_n and_o power_n the_o first_o of_o these_o be_v the_o desire_n of_o eat_v and_o drink_v the_o excess_n whereof_o be_v luxury_n the_o second_o be_v the_o desire_n of_o propagation_n of_o the_o kind_n the_o excess_n whereof_o be_v lust_n or_o wantonness_n the_o three_o be_v the_o desire_n of_o those_o supply_n which_o have_v place_v in_o they_o but_o in_o man_n he_o have_v place_v a_o high_a nature_n and_o therefore_o the_o act_n of_o the_o sensitive_a appetite_n without_o this_o subordination_n to_o this_o high_a that_o end_n to_o eat_v because_o we_o will_v eat_v and_o not_o because_o we_o will_v be_v sustain_v or_o consider_v not_o the_o hand_n from_o which_o we_o receive_v they_o that_o we_o may_v use_v they_o thankful_o nor_o the_o presence_n of_o almighty_a god_n who_o observe_v all_o our_o carriage_n in_o the_o use_n of_o his_o blessing_n that_o so_o we_o may_v use_v they_o sober_o and_o reverent_o 2._o immoderate_o there_o be_v require_v of_o we_o a_o double_a moderation_n in_o the_o use_n of_o this_o faculty_n 1._o moderation_n of_o our_o affection_n to_o the_o object_n 2._o moderation_n in_o the_o use_n of_o the_o object_n of_o our_o appetite_n the_o want_n of_o the_o former_a rob_v god_n of_o that_o affection_n or_o measure_n of_o love_n which_o we_o owe_v to_o he_o when_o any_o thing_n be_v love_v beyond_o the_o proportion_n or_o measure_v due_a to_o it_o it_o must_v needs_o invade_v the_o love_n a_o man_n owe_v to_o god_n and_o so_o place_v that_o object_n in_o the_o place_n of_o god._n thus_o covetousness_n become_v idolatry_n ephes_n 5.5_o gluttony_n become_v idolatry_n who_o god_n be_v their_o belly_n for_o that_o which_o have_v the_o mastery_n of_o our_o love_n have_v the_o command_n of_o the_o whole_a man_n and_o if_o my_o love_n to_o the_o object_n of_o my_o sensual_a appetite_n want_v that_o due_a subordination_n to_o the_o love_n i_o owe_v to_o
