choose_v the_o same_o rite_n by_o which_o to_o initiate_v his_o disciple_n these_o thing_n with_o what_o be_v say_v before_o if_o there_o be_v no_o more_o to_o be_v say_v in_o the_o case_n will_v be_v enough_o to_o show_v that_o it_o be_v no_o just_a exception_n against_o our_o external_a form_n of_o public_a worship_n in_o that_o it_o be_v not_o express_o and_o particular_o command_v in_o scripture_n for_o if_o it_o be_v it_o will_v be_v a_o just_a exception_n against_o every_o external_a form_n of_o public_a worship_n whatsoever_o because_o there_o be_v no_o one_o in_o particular_a command_v with_o exclusion_n of_o all_o the_o rest_n which_o still_o plain_o render_v it_o a_o thing_n more_o inexpedient_a yea_o and_o much_o more_o than_o so_o to_o be_v accessary_a by_o rend_v from_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o church_n to_o the_o bring_n on_o we_o all_o those_o sad_a effect_n of_o our_o division_n which_o every_o good_a man_n be_v sensible_a of_o than_o it_o be_v or_o can_v be_v to_o bear_v with_o what_o do_v not_o so_o well_o please_v they_o in_o our_o form_n of_o worship_n as_o somewhat_o else_o different_a therefrom_o will_v do_v methinks_v it_o shall_v make_v such_o as_o be_v more_o consider_v man_n among_o those_o that_o divide_v the_o church_n by_o withdraw_v from_o her_o communion_n to_o be_v very_o jealous_a of_o the_o expediency_n of_o their_o practice_n when_o they_o consider_v that_o before_o man_n take_v this_o liberty_n there_o be_v little_a of_o the_o sad_a effect_n forementioned_a visible_a among_o we_o but_o since_o that_o those_o bad_a effect_n be_v grow_v notorious_a and_o formidable_a and_o that_o be_v no_o honour_n to_o separation_n that_o it_o have_v bring_v forth_o such_o fruit_n they_o may_v know_v what_o it_o be_v by_o what_o it_o have_v do_v by_o its_o fruit_n you_o shall_v know_v it_o and_o therefore_o such_o as_o will_v be_v loath_a to_o lie_v under_o the_o guilt_n unrepented_a of_o of_o be_v accessary_a to_o the_o draw_v on_o we_o the_o sad_a event_n we_o speak_v of_o have_v need_n to_o examine_v again_o and_o again_o whether_o the_o ground_n upon_o which_o they_o have_v make_v or_o encourage_v those_o division_n which_o have_v be_v the_o cause_n of_o they_o be_v such_o as_o will_v abide_v the_o trial_n before_o god_n and_o whether_o they_o have_v any_o ground_n to_o think_v that_o what_o they_o contend_v for_o in_o case_n they_o can_v obtain_v it_o will_v ever_o countervail_v or_o compensate_a the_o damage_n which_o religion_n in_o its_o reputation_n and_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n have_v already_o sustain_v and_o be_v like_o far_a to_o suffer_v by_o the_o course_n they_o have_v take_v to_o effect_v it_o and_o when_o ever_o they_o do_v enter_v into_o such_o consideration_n it_o will_v doubtless_o be_v their_o wisdom_n not_o to_o flatter_v themselves_o with_o conceit_n as_o i_o fear_v some_o do_v as_o if_o they_o be_v not_o nor_o can_v be_v accessary_a to_o the_o bring_n on_o we_o these_o sad_a effect_n of_o our_o division_n but_o that_o they_o be_v whole_o owe_v and_o imputable_a to_o our_o governor_n who_o as_o they_o perhaps_o suppose_v have_v give_v they_o just_a occasion_n of_o withdraw_a from_o communion_n in_o the_o public_a worship_n by_o make_v the_o term_n of_o it_o so_o difficult_a and_o unsatisfactory_a as_o they_o have_v do_v for_o though_o that_o which_o they_o surmise_v shall_v be_v so_o far_o true_a viz._n that_o the_o condition_n of_o communion_n be_v make_v more_o uneasy_a unto_o some_o than_o they_o need_v to_o be_v yet_o it_o will_v not_o follow_v but_o that_o though_o the_o governor_n in_o some_o respect_n do_v ill_a in_o do_v so_o the_o people_n may_v do_v very_o well_o in_o submit_v to_o they_o though_o less_o please_a to_o themselves_o rather_o than_o by_o cause_v division_n by_o not_o submit_v to_o they_o to_o draw_v on_o such_o thing_n as_o may_v well_o displease_v they_o much_o more_o than_o the_o uneasy_a term_n of_o communion_n need_v to_o do_v as_o long_o as_o they_o be_v but_o only_o less_o desirable_a and_o not_o absolute_o sinful_a in_o themselves_o as_o doubtless_o those_o in_o question_n be_v not_o for_o if_o they_o be_v it_o will_v be_v wonderful_a that_o so_o many_o wise_a inquisitive_a and_o good_a man_n as_o well_o of_o the_o old_a nonconformist_n as_o other_o as_o since_o the_o reformation_n have_v submit_v to_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v sensible_a of_o it_o no_o not_o after_o all_o that_o can_v be_v say_v to_o work_v such_o a_o sense_n in_o they_o by_o such_o as_o have_v turn_v every_o stone_n to_o do_v it_o and_o it_o be_v not_o altogether_o inconsiderable_a to_o remember_v that_o however_o the_o case_n be_v now_o yet_o in_o the_o apostle_n day_n they_o be_v such_o christian_n as_o be_v less_o know_v in_o the_o right_a use_n of_o their_o christian_a liberty_n that_o cause_v trouble_n in_o the_o church_n about_o thing_n indifferent_a in_o their_o own_o nature_n rom._n 14._o these_o thing_n i_o have_v note_v upon_o this_o occasion_n for_o no_o worse_a end_n than_o to_o satisfy_v the_o scrupulous_a that_o although_o they_o shall_v not_o or_o can_v not_o be_v persuade_v that_o our_o external_a form_n of_o public_a worship_n be_v best_a in_o itself_o yet_o that_o to_o conform_v to_o the_o use_n of_o it_o under_o present_a circumstance_n be_v not_o only_o lawful_a but_o also_o very_o much_o better_a than_o to_o be_v accessary_a to_o all_o the_o evil_a effect_n and_o consequence_n of_o our_o division_n and_o causeless_a separation_n and_o that_o there_o be_v upon_o account_n of_o the_o danger_n of_o be_v so_o much_o more_o cause_n to_o scruple_n nonconformity_n than_o conformity_n to_o our_o form_n of_o public_a worship_n but_o if_o all_o the_o arguing_n and_o reason_n which_o have_v be_v use_v by_o many_o shall_v still_o fall_v short_a of_o their_o desire_a effect_n to_o close_v up_o our_o unhappy_a breach_n and_o to_o heal_v our_o division_n the_o consequence_n of_o they_o be_v so_o dreadful_a that_o i_o can_v then_o hearty_o wish_v that_o if_o the_o high_a power_n think_v it_o fit_a and_o rather_o than_o the_o wound_n of_o our_o church_n shall_v be_v still_o keep_v bleed_v to_o the_o exhaust_v of_o her_o strength_n and_o the_o endanger_v her_o very_a life_n and_o be_v that_o a_o sacrifice_n be_v make_v of_o some_o such_o thing_n as_o can_v lest_o be_v bear_v with_o and_o best_a spare_v to_o the_o public_a peace_n and_o tranquillity_n of_o the_o church_n if_o that_o may_v procure_v it_o peace_n and_o edification_n be_v the_o end_n unto_o which_o all_o external_n circumstance_n of_o order_n be_v to_o be_v accommodate_v by_o way_n of_o mean_n thus_o much_o i_o think_v good_a to_o add_v touch_v the_o point_n of_o expediency_n from_o st._n paul_n example_n the_o end_n
