say_v the_o light_n wherewith_o every_o man_n be_v enlighten_v withal_o which_o we_o say_v be_v the_o light_n of_o christ_n be_v not_o save_v and_o yet_o again_o thou_o contradict_v thyself_o and_o say_v believer_n be_v lighten_v with_o a_o save_a light_n but_o and_o if_o believer_n be_v enlighten_v with_o a_o save_a light_n and_o unbeliever_n be_v not_o how_o be_v they_o then_o condemn_v for_o their_o unbelief_n this_o question_n neither_o thou_o nor_o thy_o people_n can_v answer_v for_o thy_o proof_n that_o christ_n do_v not_o enlighten_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n with_o a_o save_a light_n thou_o say_v that_o christ_n do_v not_o enlighten_v no_o man_n but_o by_o his_o spirit_n but_o christ_n do_v not_o give_v his_o spirit_n to_o every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n therefore_o he_o do_v not_o enlighten_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n with_o a_o save_v light_n these_o word_n prove_v nothing_o at_o all_o but_o thy_o own_o ignorance_n of_o the_o scripture_n for_o god_n say_v by_o his_o prophet_n that_o he_o will_v pour_v out_o his_o spirit_n upon_o all_o flesh_n in_o the_o latter_a day_n and_o the_o apostle_n see_v those_o day_n come_v in_o their_o time_n as_o in_o act_n 2._o and_o so_o this_o be_v prove_v that_o god_n pour_v out_o his_o spirit_n upon_o all_o flesh_n than_o he_o enlighten_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n with_o a_o save_a light_n according_a to_o thy_o own_o assertion_n and_o so_o this_o overthrow_v thy_o oppose_a assertion_n and_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v give_v to_o every_o man_n to_o profit_v withal_o 1_o cor._n 12._o 7._o now_o thou_o contradict_v the_o apostle_n here_o the_o true_a minister_n he_o say_v every_o man_n but_o thou_o give_v he_o the_o lie_n and_o say_v not_o every_o man_n god_n give_v his_o spirit_n unto_o but_o we_o say_v with_o the_o apostle_n and_o the_o prophet_n that_o god_n have_v give_v his_o spirit_n to_o all_o as_o in_o joel_n 2._o act_n 2._o 1._o cor._n 12._o and_o they_o that_o do_v not_o profit_v in_o the_o spirit_n be_v such_o as_o grieve_v it_o and_o quench_v it_o and_o rebel_n against_o it_o as_o in_o as_o be_v without_o god_n in_o the_o world_n and_o stranger_n have_v not_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o themselves_o to_o grieve_v and_o vex_v thou_o say_v for_o that_o which_o may_v be_v know_v of_o god_n be_v manifest_a in_o they_o and_o when_o they_o know_v god_n they_o do_v not_o glorify_v he_o as_o god_n but_o become_v vain_a in_o their_o imagination_n and_o change_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n into_o a_o lie_n such_o become_v stranger_n to_o the_o life_n of_o god_n rom._n 1._o so_o these_o scripture_n overthrow_v thy_o assertion_n and_o prove_v that_o wicked_a man_n grieve_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o themselves_o as_o well_o as_o in_o other_o and_o whereas_o thou_o say_v joh._n 16._o 7_o 8._o if_o i_o depart_v i_o will_v send_v the_o comforter_n etc._n etc._n thou_o say_v by_o this_o promise_n christ_n make_v be_v to_o send_v the_o holy_a ghost_n after_o his_o departure_n it_o be_v evident_a enough_o that_o this_o scripture_n can_v be_v no_o proof_n of_o thy_o assertion_n to_o wit_n that_o every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n have_v not_o the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o if_o every_o man_n have_v he_o when_o he_o come_v into_o the_o world_n what_o need_n be_v there_o he_o shall_v be_v send_v to_o they_o after_o christ_n ascension_n nay_o rather_o this_o show_v they_o have_v he_o not_o before_o he_o be_v send_v and_o so_o not_o till_o after_o christ_n departure_n which_o destroy_v thy_o opinion_n yet_o thou_o grant_v the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v come_v after_o christ_n ascend_v to_o the_o apostle_n and_o to_o reprove_v the_o world_n so_o by_o this_o thou_o have_v overthrow_v thy_o own_o opinion_n and_o assertion_n and_o we_o say_v that_o christ_n do_v enlighten_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n and_o be_v a_o saviour_n and_o the_o light_n be_v save_v and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v give_v to_o reprove_v the_o world_n and_o lead_v the_o saint_n and_o it_o be_v prove_v before_o that_o the_o wicked_a resist_v the_o holy_a ghost_n before_o christ_n come_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v give_v to_o the_o disciple_n after_o christ_n be_v ascend_v and_o he_o shall_v reprove_v the_o world_n but_o thou_o deny_v it_o and_o say_v they_o have_v it_o not_o and_o so_o deme_n plain_a scripture_n and_o pervert_v our_o word_n for_o our_o word_n be_v that_o christ_n do_v enlighten_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n and_o say_v believe_v in_o the_o light_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n reprove_v the_o world_n for_o their_o unbelief_n in_o the_o light_n which_o lead_v the_o saint_n unto_o all_o truth_n second_o thou_o say_v this_o promise_n be_v make_v particular_o to_o the_o disciple_n of_o christ_n i_o will_v send_v he_o to_o you_o and_o not_o unto_o the_o world_n answ_n why_o do_v thou_o wrong_v the_o scripture_n do_v it_o not_o say_v when_o he_o come_v he_o shall_v reprove_v the_o world_n of_o sin_n righteousness_n and_o judgement_n of_o sin_n because_o they_o believe_v not_o john_n christ_n say_v that_o they_o all_o may_v be_v one_o as_o thou_o father_n be_v in_o i_o and_o i_o in_o they_o that_o the_o world_n may_v believe_v that_o thou_o have_v send_v i_o now_o how_o can_v the_o worldbelieve_v if_o they_o have_v not_o the_o light_n and_o the_o spirit_n in_o they_o to_o believe_v in_o see_v believer_n have_v the_o witness_n in_o themselves_o and_o as_o for_o christ_n miracle_n and_o sign_n which_o some_o believe_v and_o some_o gainsay_v for_o some_o say_v he_o do_v miracle_n by_o the_o prince_n of_o devil_n such_o stop_v their_o ear_n and_o close_v their_o eye_n lest_o they_o shall_v be_v convert_v as_o act_n 27._o and_o thou_o say_v the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v pour_v upon_o none_o but_o who_o repent_v and_o believe_v this_o be_v thy_o say_n who_o be_v ignorant_a of_o the_o scripture_n which_o say_v god_n will_v pour_v out_o his_o spirit_n upon_o all_o flesh_n act_v 2._o joel_n 2_o joh._n 16._o and_o such_o as_o repent_v and_o believe_v make_v a_o partaker_n of_o the_o ministry_n and_o have_v he_o no_o more_o than_o a_o natural_a man_n be_v this_o according_a to_o thy_o knowledge_n of_o the_o scripture_n do_v this_o which_o convince_v judas_n not_o reprove_v he_o of_o his_o unbelief_n do_v it_o not_o make_v he_o confess_v he_o have_v sin_v in_o betray_v the_o innocent_a blood_n do_v he_o not_o see_v his_o unbelief_n
