law_n and_o not_o to_o the_o gospel_n in_o any_o degree_n but_o second_o take_v it_o for_o grant_v that_o he_o persist_v in_o his_o eloquence_n yet_o it_o appear_v that_o it_o be_v such_o as_o he_o have_v obtain_v by_o be_v mighty_a in_o the_o scripture_n and_o this_o also_o further_o justify_v a_o former_a answer_n that_o the_o scripture_n alone_o be_v sufficient_a
can_v benefit_v he_o and_o if_o nothing_o than_o not_o this_o thing_n in_o question_n but_o that_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v that_o we_o must_v be_v fool_n to_o it_o and_o what_o be_v the_o true_a mark_n of_o a_o fool_n but_o to_o be_v ignorant_a and_o without_o knowledge_n therefore_o we_o call_v they_o fool_n in_o the_o world_n and_o so_o be_v it_o here_o the_o best_a way_n for_o a_o man_n not_o to_o deceive_v himself_o be_v to_o know_v nothing_o of_o this_o learning_n nor_o any_o other_o fleshly_a excellency_n that_o so_o he_o may_v learn_v true_a wisdom_n and_o the_o apostle_n do_v i_o think_v sufficient_o confirm_v this_o advice_n of_o he_o against_o all_o exception_n the_o lord_n know_v say_v he_o that_o the_o thought_n of_o man_n be_v vain_a man_n think_v high_o of_o their_o own_o conceit_n this_o way_n yet_o if_o no_o man_n will_v take_v this_o his_o council_n for_o wisdom_n in_o this_o kind_n yet_o the_o lord_n conclude_v the_o truth_n of_o it_o and_o he_o know_v the_o thought_n of_o man_n to_o be_v vain_a that_o think_v humane-learning_n some_o help_n but_o let_v they_o think_v what_o they_o will_v the_o lord_n be_v against_o they_o in_o it_o for_o he_o know_v that_o it_o be_v sure_a that_o they_o be_v deceive_v for_o his_o thought_n be_v not_o as_o man_n thought_n now_o another_o cause_n that_o confirm_v i_o in_o this_o conclusion_n be_v because_o that_o wheresoever_o the_o apostle_n honour_v the_o spirit_n teach_v reason_n 5_o reason_n and_o prefer_v it_o usual_o he_o at_o the_o same_o time_n cast_v contempt_n upon_o this_o learning_n as_o be_v to_o be_v see_v in_o many_o place_n 1.17.18_o place_n 1_o cor._n 1.17.18_o christ_n say_v he_o send_v i_o to_o preach_v the_o gospel_n not_o with_o the_o wisdom_n of_o word_n lest_o i_o shall_v make_v
