of_o the_o lord_n otherwise_o let_v they_o remember_v that_o which_o the_o apostle_n write_v to_o the_o corinthian_n do_v we_o provoke_v the_o lord_n to_o jealousy_n be_v we_o strong_a than_o he_o 1_o cor._n 10.22_o and_o thus_o much_o i_o think_v here_o by_o this_o occasion_n to_o write_v about_o the_o baptism_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n now_o i_o will_v come_v to_o speak_v of_o the_o church_n itself_o as_o touch_v the_o church_n of_o rome_n there_o be_v also_o at_o that_o time_n speech_n about_o it_o to_o be_v the_o church_n of_o god_n i_o do_v in_o deed_n allege_v the_o say_n of_o the_o apostle_n that_o antichrist_n shall_v sit_v in_o the_o temple_n of_o god_n as_o the_o apostle_n express_o teach_v 2_o thes_n 2.4_o and_o by_o the_o temple_n of_o god_n understand_v the_o church_n of_o god_n it_o will_v follow_v that_o antichrist_n shall_v sit_v in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o be_v there_o to_o be_v seek_v and_o find_v and_o not_o among_o the_o jew_n turk_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o anabaptist_n and_o such_o as_o be_v herein_o anabaptistical_o incline_v will_v bear_v we_o in_o hand_n observe_v also_o here_o again_o that_o which_o be_v say_v rev._n 18_o 4._o go_v out_o of_o she_o my_o people_n and_o partake_v not_o in_o her_o sin_n etc._n etc._n where_o those_o word_n my_o people_n imply_v the_o covenant_n of_o god_n continue_v among_o they_o for_o thus_o be_v the_o covenant_n teach_v and_o set_v down_o unto_o we_o in_o the_o scripture_n i_o will_v be_v your_o god_n and_o you_o shall_v be_v my_o people_n and_o so_o be_v israel_n often_o call_v the_o former_a time_n in_o all_o which_o her_o adulterate_a &_o apostate_n estate_n she_o have_v notwithstanding_o still_o keep_v even_o to_o this_o day_n sundry_a truth_n and_o ordinance_n of_o god_n &_o mix_v with_o they_o her_o own_o invention_n &_o tradition_n as_o israel_n also_o do_v which_o be_v observe_v aright_o cause_v a_o twofold_a consideration_n of_o her_o estate_n as_o of_o israel_n one_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o truth_n and_o ordinance_n of_o god_n still_o retain_v among_o they_o another_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o mixture_n of_o their_o own_o invention_n and_o abomination_n withal_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o one_o to_o hold_v and_o acknowledge_v the_o truth_n &_o church_n of_o god_n there_o against_o the_o anabaptist_n in_o regard_n of_o the_o other_o to_o consider_v and_o observe_v their_o apostasy_n and_o babylonish_n confusion_n against_o antichrist_n and_o for_o this_o cause_n namely_o for_o this_o defection_n and_o mixture_n aforesaid_a to_o separate_v from_o they_o and_o witness_v against_o they_o be_v always_o careful_a in_o our_o testimony_n and_o practice_n to_o retain_v and_o maintain_v every_o truth_n &_o ordinance_n of_o god_n which_o be_v in_o that_o church_n before_o their_o apostasy_n and_o be_v yet_o continue_a therein_o to_o this_o day_n leave_v only_o and_o forsake_v their_o corruption_n and_o mixture_n of_o their_o own_o invention_n therewith_n lest_o otherwise_o we_o shall_v be_v bring_v ourselves_o or_o be_v occasion_n to_o other_o to_o fall_v into_o anabaptistry_n and_o divers_a other_o error_n and_o evil_n as_o by_o lamentable_a example_n of_o other_o we_o have_v see_v note_v here_o also_o a_o double_a consideration_n about_o the_o covenant_n of_o god_n make_v with_o his_o people_n one_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o lord_n himself_o on_o the_o one_o part_n the_o other_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o people_n take_v into_o covenant_n by_o he_o on_o the_o other_o part_n deut._n 26.17.18.19_o judg._n 2.1_o 20._o for_o it_o often_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o the_o people_n do_v on_o their_o part_n transgress_v &_o break_v the_o covenant_n when_o the_o lord_n do_v not_o so_o on_o his_o part_n but_o still_o remember_v
