now_o although_o this_o be_v no_o good_a argument_n because_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v communicate_v but_o in_o measure_n to_o the_o godly_a they_o know_v but_o in_o part_n and_o so_o they_o love_v but_o in_o part_n many_o error_n and_o division_n we_o be_v prone_a unto_o yet_o this_o be_v a_o very_a great_a stumble_a block_n and_o therefore_o woe_n be_v to_o that_o godly_a man_n who_o by_o his_o pride_n self-conceit_n or_o erroneous_a doctrine_n shall_v bring_v such_o a_o scandal_n to_o religion_n what_o if_o many_o perish_v in_o hell_n because_o of_o thy_o froward_a spirit_n it_o be_v true_a there_o ought_v to_o be_v zeal_n against_o error_n and_o corruption_n though_o in_o the_o godly_a you_o see_v when_o peter_n do_v not_o walk_v right_a paul_n resist_v he_o to_o the_o face_n and_o will_v not_o give_v place_n to_o he_o or_o other_o false_a teacher_n no_o not_o for_o a_o hour_n gal._n 2.5_o mark_v that_o no_o not_o for_o a_o hour_n some_o think_v let_v they_o alone_o they_o will_v recover_v themselves_o they_o will_v do_v no_o hurt_n truth_n need_v not_o be_v afraid_a yet_o paul_n be_v afraid_a that_o a_o hour_n forbearance_n may_v do_v hurt_v therefore_o he_o add_v that_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n may_v continue_v among_o you_o as_o if_o a_o hour_n forbearance_n may_v hinder_v the_o continuance_n of_o truth_n so_o that_o we_o be_v to_o use_v scripture-zeal_n and_o scripture-mean_n to_o convince_v even_o those_o that_o be_v godly_a when_o err_a in_o doctrine_n therefore_o the_o scripture_n do_v not_o commend_v a_o unity_n and_o love_n so_o as_o to_o let_v all_o error_n and_o profaneness_n alone_o but_o in_o that_o which_o be_v good_a unity_n in_o that_o which_o be_v truth_n and_o holiness_n be_v that_o which_o christ_n mean_v here_o in_o his_o prayer_n and_o where_o this_o be_v it_o be_v very_o potent_a to_o win_v all_o gainsayers_a it_o be_v admirable_a to_o mollify_v the_o heart_n of_o the_o opposer_n hence_o it_o be_v so_o often_o report_v of_o the_o primitive_a christian_n that_o they_o be_v daily_o with_o one_o accord_n together_o therefore_o the_o evangelist_n luke_n record_v it_o at_o least_o five_o time_n so_o that_o if_o nothing_o else_o shall_v make_v thou_o tender_a about_o cause_v any_o breach_n in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n this_o shall_v thou_o do_v as_o much_o as_o lie_v in_o thou_o to_o hinder_v any_o man_n that_o know_v thou_o ever_o to_o believe_v and_o to_o be_v convert_v covenant_n three_o this_o unity_n be_v promise_v as_o a_o special_a part_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n that_o very_a covenant_n which_o promise_v to_o write_v the_o law_n of_o god_n in_o our_o heart_n and_o to_o put_v his_o fear_n in_o our_o inward_a part_n that_o also_o promise_v unity_n at_o the_o same_o time_n jer._n 32.39_o i_o will_v be_v their_o god_n and_o they_o shall_v be_v my_o people_n i_o will_v give_v they_o one_o heart_n and_o one_o way_n that_o they_o may_v fear_v i_o for_o ever_o insomuch_o that_o it_o be_v one_o main_a branch_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n so_o zech_n 14.9_o in_o that_o day_n there_o shall_v be_v one_o lord_n and_o his_o name_n one_o the_o meaning_n be_v they_o shall_v not_o worship_v many_o god_n or_o serve_v in_o different_a way_n of_o worship_n but_o they_o shall_v be_v one_o to_o this_o purpose_n ezekiel_n propehsy_v chap._n 37.16_o 22._o which_o be_v not_o to_o be_v limit_v to_o the_o jew_n only_o but_o also_o to_o all_o the_o believe_a gentile_n oh_o then_o in_o these_o time_n of_o difference_n and_o breach_n among_o the_o godly_a what_o shall_v we_o run_v unto_o what_o shall_v we_o plead_v in_o prayer_n but_o these_o promise_n o_o lord_n to_o be_v thus_o divide_v to_o have_v altar_n against_o altar_n church_n against_o church_n prophet_n against_o prophet_n be_v this_o to_o have_v one_o heart_n and_o one_o way_n but_o you_o may_v say_v if_o god_n have_v thus_o promise_v it_o and_o christ_n have_v pray_v for_o it_o who_o be_v hear_v of_o the_o father_n in_o every_o thing_n how_o come_v it_o about_o that_o the_o contrary_n appear_v this_o be_v to_o be_v answer_v in_o its_o time_n four_o unity_n be_v necessary_a because_o hereby_o a_o serviceable_a and_o beneficial_a help_v of_o one_o another_o in_o spiritual_a thing_n be_v preserve_v preserve_v the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v compare_v to_o live_a stone_n build_v up_o together_o while_o the_o stone_n keep_v in_o the_o build_n they_o bear_v one_o another_o but_o if_o once_o remove_v it_o fall_v down_o they_o be_v compare_v to_o member_n in_o the_o body_n while_o they_o be_v join_v together_o there_o be_v a_o mutual_a ministration_n to_o each_o other_o but_o when_o divide_v from_o the_o body_n no_o part_n can_v receive_v any_o nourishment_n thus_o it_o be_v here_o while_o the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v in_o union_n oh_o the_o wonderful_a help_n they_o be_v to_o one_o another_o they_o provoke_v one_o another_o they_o stir_v up_o one_o another_o grace_n but_o take_v these_o coal_n from_o one_o another_o and_o then_o the_o fire_n go_v out_o and_o this_o may_v be_v the_o reason_n why_o our_o saviour_n do_v not_o mention_v the_o sanctification_n and_o holiness_n of_o believer_n but_o their_o unity_n because_o this_o be_v a_o special_a mean_n to_o preserve_v and_o increase_v holiness_n two_o be_v better_o than_o one_o because_o of_o heat_n and_o of_o help_n say_v the_o wiseman_n eccles_n 4.10_o and_o so_o it_o be_v in_o this_o work_n of_o grace_n two_o be_v better_o than_o one_o to_o warm_v one_o another_o how_o may_v thy_o zeal_n help_v against_o another_o lukewarmnesse_n
