of_o he_o be_v indeed_o the_o word_n of_o god._n this_o use_n we_o be_v to_o make_v of_o it_o that_o it_o may_v not_o be_v in_o vain_a to_o we_o it_o shall_v teach_v we_o to_o confirm_v this_o first_o principle_n and_o make_v it_o sure_a see_v all_o the_o rest_n be_v build_v upon_o it_o therefore_o we_o have_v reason_n to_o weigh_v it_o that_o we_o may_v give_v full_a consent_n to_o it_o and_o not_o a_o weak_a one_o object_n but_o you_o will_v say_v this_o be_v a_o principle_n that_o need_v not_o to_o be_v thus_o urge_v or_o make_v question_n of_o therefore_o what_o need_v so_o many_o shall_v come_v from_o the_o dead_a as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v these_o carry_v great_a evidence_n in_o they_o they_o have_v more_o power_n to_o confirm_v the_o truth_n that_o they_o deliver_v that_o it_o come_v from_o the_o great_a god_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n than_o if_o a_o man_n shall_v arise_v from_o the_o dead_a if_o we_o consider_v the_o many_o miracle_n which_o they_o do_v and_o holy_a life_n which_o they_o lead_v object_n but_o if_o you_o will_v say_v that_o indeed_o for_o the_o declare_v of_o thing_n and_o for_o the_o confirmr_n of_o truth_n there_o be_v more_o evidence_n in_o these_o than_o if_o one_o do_v arise_v from_o the_o dead_a but_o if_o one_o shall_v come_v from_o the_o dead_a this_o will_v be_v much_o to_o show_v the_o eternity_n of_o thing_n and_o the_o immortality_n of_o the_o soul_n answ._n if_o this_o be_v so_o you_o see_v that_o man_n have_v rise_v from_o the_o dead_a as_o when_o christ_n do_v arise_v than_o many_o arise_v from_o the_o dead_a the_o three_o sermon_n hebrew_n 11.6_o he_o that_o come_v to_o god_n must_v believe_v that_o god_n be_v etc._n etc._n now_o we_o proceed_v to_o that_o which_o remain_v argument_n we_o will_v show_v god_n be_v one_o most_o pure_a entire_a and_o uniform_a be_v or_o essence_n i_o be_o show_v that_o he_o be_v a_o be_v and_o if_o we_o shall_v ask_v what_o kind_n of_o be_v he_o be_v he_o be_v a_o most_o simple_a and_o uncompounded_a be_v and_o that_o he_o be_v so_o we_o will_v make_v it_o clear_a by_o these_o reason_n reason_n 1_o because_o if_o there_o be_v many_o thing_n in_o he_o they_o must_v not_o be_v the_o same_o but_o different_a if_o different_a one_o have_v one_o perfection_n which_o another_o want_n if_o so_o there_o must_v be_v something_o imperfect_a in_o god_n for_o if_o the_o defect_n of_o that_o be_v make_v up_o it_o will_v be_v more_o perfect_a 2._o if_o there_o be_v two_o thing_n in_o god_n then_o there_o be_v multiplication_n now_o all_o multiplication_n arise_v from_o some_o imperfection_n from_o some_o want_n and_o defect_n for_o if_o one_o will_v serve_v two_o will_v not_o be_v require_v as_o if_o one_o can_v draw_v a_o ship_n or_o boat_n up_o the_o stream_n two_o be_v needless_a if_o one_o medicine_n will_v cure_v two_o will_v be_v unnecessary_a so_o in_o all_o thing_n else_o so_o that_o the_o reason_n of_o multiplication_n be_v because_o one_o original_o of_o himself_o but_o derivative_o and_o by_o participation_n and_o so_o imperfect_o as_o to_o be_v fiery_a be_v more_o imperfect_a than_o to_o be_v fire_n itself_o to_o be_v gild_v be_v more_o imperfect_a than_o to_o be_v gold_n itself_o so_o to_o be_v wise_a love_a holy_a that_o be_v to_o be_v endue_v with_o the_o quality_n of_o wisdom_n love_n holiness_n be_v more_o imperfect_a than_o to_o be_v wisdom_n and_o love_n and_o holiness_n itself_o therefore_o there_o be_v not_o a_o substance_n and_o a_o quality_n in_o god_n as_o in_o the_o creature_n but_o he_o be_v love_n and_o
