and_o in_o their_o sensual_a uncleanness_n and_o their_o childish_a vanity_n they_o have_v the_o god_n of_o infinite_a goodness_n to_o delight_v in_o but_o to_o their_o impious_a heart_n he_o seem_v not_o delightful_a they_o have_v his_o power_n and_o wisdom_n and_o holiness_n and_o truth_n to_o love_v and_o admire_v and_o trust_v upon_o and_o his_o excellent_a work_n to_o behold_v he_o in_o and_o his_o holy_a law_n and_o gracious_a promise_n to_o meditate_v on_o but_o they_o have_v small_a delight_n in_o any_o such_o employment_n they_o have_v leave_v as_o well_o as_o any_o other_o to_o open_v their_o heart_n to_o god_n in_o secret_a and_o in_o prayer_n and_o praise_n to_o recreate_v their_o soul_n and_o to_o hold_v communion_n with_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n and_o to_o be_v exercise_v both_o in_o public_a and_o private_a in_o his_o worship_n and_o to_o order_v their_o family_n in_o his_o fear_n and_o to_o manage_v their_o affair_n according_a to_o his_o word_n but_o they_o find_v no_o pleasure_n in_o such_o a_o life_n as_o this_o but_o be_v as_o backward_o to_o it_o as_o if_o it_o be_v a_o toilsome_a and_o unprofitable_a business_n and_o be_v weary_a of_o that_o little_a outside_n worship_n which_o they_o do_v perform_v they_o have_v heaven_n set_v before_o they_o to_o seek_v after_o and_o to_o make_v their_o portion_n and_o delight_n but_o they_o have_v small_a delight_n to_o think_v or_o speak_v of_o it_o their_o heart_n be_v unsuitable_a to_o these_o high_a holy_a and_o spiritual_a thing_n they_o be_v matter_n that_o they_o be_v strange_a to_o and_o have_v no_o firm_a and_o confident_a belief_n of_o but_o a_o uncertain_a waver_a weak_a opinion_n and_o therefore_o they_o be_v too_o far_o off_o to_o be_v their_o delight_n they_o say_v to_o god_n depart_v from_o we_o for_o we_o desire_v not_o the_o knowledge_n of_o thy_o way_n what_o be_v the_o almighty_a that_o we_o shall_v serve_v he_o and_o what_o profit_n shall_v we_o have_v if_o we_o pray_v unto_o he_o job_n 21._o 14_o 15._o if_o they_o do_v come_v to_o the_o public_a assembly_n and_o join_v there_o in_o the_o outward_a part_n of_o worship_n they_o find_v little_a life_n seem_v not_o to_o accuse_v they_o any_o more_o than_o other_o and_o grate_v not_o on_o their_o tender_a ear_n with_o plain_a and_o necessary_a truth_n but_o suffer_v they_o to_o go_v home_o as_o quiet_o as_o they_o come_v thither_o but_o if_o the_o preacher_n touch_v they_o to_o the_o quick_a and_o endeavour_v faithful_o to_o acquaint_v they_o with_o themselves_o or_o if_o he_o have_v no_o eloquence_n or_o accurateness_n of_o speech_n to_o please_v they_o with_o but_o be_v guilty_a of_o any_o unhansomness_n of_o expression_n or_o mâ—dâ—â—â—_n imperfection_n they_o be_v weary_a of_o hear_v he_o and_o think_v it_o long_o till_o the_o glass_n be_v run_v and_o perhaps_o instead_o of_o taste_v the_o sweetness_n of_o wholesome_a truth_n they_o make_v it_o the_o matter_n of_o their_o in_o their_o field_n and_o shop_n they_o have_v more_o delight_n then_o in_o the_o spiritual_a holy_a service_n of_o the_o lord_n they_o be_v never_o so_o merry_a as_o when_o there_o be_v least_o of_o god_n upon_o their_o heart_n and_o in_o their_o way_n and_o it_o be_v one_o of_o the_o reason_n that_o hinder_v their_o conversion_n lest_o it_o shall_v deprive_v they_o of_o their_o mirth_n and_o cause_v they_o to_o spend_v the_o remainder_n of_o their_o day_n in_o uncomfortable_a heavyness_n if_o sin_n be_v not_o sweet_a to_o they_o conversion_n will_v be_v more_o easy_a the_o pleasure_n
