may_v receive_v this_o benefit_n so_o they_o be_v not_o extraordinary_a except_v ordinary_a for_o they_o be_v all_o of_o they_o not_o any_o more_o than_o of_o ordinary_a use_n in_o the_o church_n and_o for_o that_o they_o all_o be_v now_o i_o will_v return_v to_o the_o two_o first_o viz._n psalm_n doctrine_n every_o one_o of_o you_o have_v a_o psalm_n psalmon_n a_o psalm_n i_o will_v let_v it_o go_v for_o a_o general_a name_n of_o all_o sing_n to_o god_n as_o doctrine_n may_v go_v for_o all_o teach_v and_o some_o of_o these_o five_o particular_n may_v be_v near_o of_o kin_n one_o to_o another_o but_o sure_o i_o may_v be_v that_o what_o kind_n soever_o it_o be_v it_o can_v be_v instant_o inspire_v sing_v for_o the_o reason_n aforesaid_a and_o also_o i_o think_v there_o be_v never_o such_o extraordinary_a gift_n use_v in_o public_a worship_n that_o a_o psalm_n be_v extempore_o instant_o on_o a_o sudden_a inspire_v and_o sing_v as_o fast_o as_o inspire_v in_o the_o church_n but_o it_o be_v receive_v afore_o the_o meeting_n begin_v and_o commit_v to_o write_v by_o a_o infallible_a prophet_n and_o so_o commit_v unto_o the_o church_n for_o her_o use_n and_o edification_n and_o they_o which_o expect_v otherwise_o must_v look_v for_o a_o infallible_a prophet_n above_o all_o that_o have_v be_v yet_o for_o any_o thing_n i_o know_v how_o easy_a be_v it_o for_o a_o people_n to_o be_v impose_v upon_o by_o one_o who_o pretend_v to_o a_o extraordinary_a gift_n when_o it_o may_v be_v no_o more_o than_o a_o common_a may_v be_v a_o natural_a gift_n wherefore_o i_o take_v have_v a_o psalm_n to_o be_v as_o have_v a_o doctrine_n in_o some_o respect_n though_o not_o all_o then_o as_o doctrine_n may_v be_v premeditate_v so_o may_v a_o psalm_n be_v preconceive_a all_o the_o particular_n be_v the_o common_a benefit_n of_o the_o church_n and_o its_o blessing_n for_o its_o edification_n of_o which_o there_o be_v no_o denial_n and_o it_o may_v be_v fear_v there_o have_v be_v too_o much_o formality_n in_o prayer_n and_o preach_v too_o and_o so_o in_o sing_v that_o be_v as_o unlike_a to_o escape_v as_o other_o thing_n but_o that_o do_v not_o null_a a_o duty_n and_o thence_o i_o will_v affirm_v that_o psalm_n etc._n etc._n already_o in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n be_v every_o way_n to_o be_v prefer_v to_o and_o above_o what_o can_v be_v premeditate_v or_o preconceive_a by_o any_o one_o whatsoever_o forasmuch_o as_o here_o and_o our_o saviour_n and_o paul_n and_o silas_n and_o in_o the_o ephesian_n colossian_n and_o james_n the_o word_n be_v use_v in_o a_o general_a way_n and_o not_o of_o any_o extemporary_a or_o instant_o inspire_v it_o do_v show_v plain_o all_o those_o psalm_n be_v the_o then_o know_a psalm_n already_o in_o use_n and_o such_o as_o without_o extraordinary_a extemporary_a inspiration_n or_o they_o must_v betake_v themselves_o to_o ordinary_a prereceived_a preconceive_a psalm_n and_o spiritual_a song_n the_o first_o be_v not_o pretend_v that_o it_o ever_o be_v or_o will_v be_v in_o this_o world_n the_o latter_a than_o be_v the_o thing_n i_o seek_v for_o and_o it_o can_v be_v deny_v i_o and_o one_o of_o these_o two_o will_v follow_v that_o either_o the_o psalm_n etc._n etc._n which_o be_v already_o in_o the_o scripture_n or_o those_o that_o can_v may_v indite_v and_o bring_v they_o into_o the_o church_n for_o its_o edification_n or_o else_o both_o i_o indeed_o prefer_v the_o first_o though_o i_o will_v not_o condemn_v the_o other_o till_o i_o hear_v what_o in_o they_o be_v amiss_o
