yet_o that_o soul_n that_o whole_o neglect_v it_o and_o sleight_n evidence_n from_o humiliation_n sanctification_n and_o obedience_n have_v best_o timely_a look_n to_o it_o that_o the_o witness_v in_o with_o a_o good_a heart_n no_o one_o so_o confident_a of_o the_o goodness_n of_o his_o heart_n as_o a_o hypocrite_n because_o he_o know_v not_o his_o own_o heart_n in_o that_o great_a reformation_n in_o josiahs_n time_n jeremiah_n speak_v of_o chap._n 3.10_o that_o judah_n turn_v to_o the_o lord_n but_o feign_o not_o with_o the_o whole_a heart_n yet_o the_o people_n think_v otherwise_o of_o themselves_o as_o it_o be_v likely_a when_o they_o enter_v into_o a_o covenant_n with_o god_n with_o good_a josiah_n this_o be_v it_o that_o most_o poor_a sinful_a creature_n do_v bolster_v up_o the_o mass_n to_o mention_v god_n name_n frequent_o as_o a_o byword_n cry_v oh_o lord_n oh_o god_n slight_o vain_o or_o sometime_o to_o drink_v to_o excess_n or_o the_o like_a evil_n it_o be_v common_a to_o hear_v wretched_a soul_n when_o convince_v of_o they_o to_o excuse_v the_o matter_n why_o it_o be_v their_o infirmity_n whereas_o it_o proceed_v from_o a_o heart_n whole_o unregenerate_a and_o under_o the_o power_n and_o reign_v of_o sin_n infirmity_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n be_v not_o allow_v by_o they_o but_o humble_v for_o mourn_v for_o every_o day_n watch_v against_o the_o root_n of_o they_o they_o endeavour_v to_o mortify_v through_o the_o spirit_n which_o the_o common_a professor_n that_o call_v all_o his_o sin_n his_o infirmity_n do_v not_o oh_o soul_n there_o be_v a_o vast_a difference_n between_o the_o infirmity_n of_o such_o as_o be_v indeed_o new-creature_n and_o between_o the_o reign_a sin_n of_o natural_a man_n sin_n reign_v in_o its_o peace_n power_n and_o meek_a and_o these_o poor_a creature_n be_v apt_a to_o mistake_v for_o grace_n when_o it_o be_v nothing_o but_o mere_a nature_n and_o more_o candid_a disposition_n and_o such_o soul_n from_o natural_a temper_n can_v bear_v much_o and_o it_o have_v a_o appearance_n of_o grace_n but_o yet_o here_o may_v be_v no_o work_n of_o the_o spirit_n all_o this_o while_n humble_v meekn_v the_o soul_n in_o its_o own_o vileness_n no_o mortification_n of_o contrary_a lust_n no_o humble_v for_o pride_n of_o heart_n without_o which_o no_o true_a gracious_a humility_n no_o meekn_n by_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o power_n of_o christ_n love_n upon_o their_o spirit_n and_o yet_o upon_o this_o account_n you_o shall_v have_v poor_a carnal_a soul_n pretend_v much_o as_o i_o have_v often_o hear_v it_o urge_v by_o they_o to_o the_o fruit_n of_o spirit_n mention_v gal._n 5.22_o of_o love_n joy_n peace_n goodness_n patience_n temperance_n when_o it_o be_v nothing_o but_o disposition_n ingenuity_n or_o
