thereunto_o as_o for_o example_n when_o a_o man_n have_v a_o occupation_n to_o live_v by_o it_o be_v no_o easy_a matter_n for_o he_o to_o crave_v as_o hearty_o at_o god_n his_o hand_n for_o his_o live_a as_o that_o man_n that_o want_v all_o ordinary_a mean_n to_o maintain_v he_o we_o be_v teach_v in_o this_o petition_n to_o beg_v at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n by_o prayer_n those_o outward_a thing_n that_o have_v mean_n ordain_v to_o bring_v they_o even_o then_o when_o we_o have_v the_o usual_a mean_n for_o the_o man_n that_o have_v friend_n of_o great_a credit_n that_o be_v able_a to_o compass_v matter_n of_o great_a importance_n than_o he_o have_v any_o to_o trouble_v they_o withal_o must_v look_v &_o seek_v for_o success_n at_o the_o lord_n by_o prayer_n as_o careful_o as_o if_o he_o know_v of_o no_o help_n or_o friendship_n at_o all_o when_o man_n of_o wisdom_n credit_n or_o power_n go_v about_o their_o matter_n without_o any_o call_n upon_o the_o name_n of_o god_n they_o plain_o deny_v the_o lord_n that_o honour_n that_o be_v due_a unto_o he_o for_o he_o must_v be_v acknowledge_v as_o he_o be_v in_o deed_n the_o disposer_n of_o all_o outward_a benefit_n aswell_o of_o those_o that_o come_v by_o the_o mean_n of_o our_o labour_n endeavour_n or_o other_o our_o mean_n whatsoever_o as_o those_o that_o come_v so_o as_o we_o can_v give_v no_o reason_n of_o the_o same_o come_v by_o casualty_n or_o fortune_n as_o man_n common_o use_v to_o speak_v and_o in_o this_o petition_n we_o be_v teach_v to_o crave_v all_o outward_a benefit_n and_o the_o success_n and_o go_v forward_o of_o all_o our_o labour_n of_o the_o lord_n who_o be_v the_o only_a giver_n of_o they_o and_o without_o who_o especial_a blessing_n all_o help_n and_o mean_n be_v to_o no_o purpose_n according_a as_o it_o be_v write_v in_o the_o psalm_n 127.1.2_o except_o the_o lord_n build_v the_o house_n they_o labour_v in_o vain_a that_o build_v it_o it_o be_v vain_a for_o you_o to_o rise_v early_o and_o lie_v down_o late_o declare_v hereby_o how_o little_a help_n there_o be_v in_o all_o our_o careful_a toil_n to_o attain_v to_o wealth_n and_o earthly_a commodity_n and_o therefore_o in_o he_o will_v grant_v at_o their_o request_n what_o a_o great_a burden_n therefore_o be_v we_o discharge_v of_o by_o the_o lord_n who_o in_o promise_v to_o hear_v we_o in_o the_o day_n of_o our_o with_o as_o if_o their_o live_n lie_v only_o in_o their_o travel_n there_o be_v a_o secret_a blessing_n of_o the_o lord_n which_o must_v be_v seek_v for_o at_o his_o hand_n by_o faithful_a prey_n without_o the_o which_o all_o care_n and_o travel_v that_o can_v be_v take_v will_v not_o avail_v it_o be_v the_o blessing_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o make_v rich_fw-fr say_v the_o holy_a ghost_n 10.22_o there_o be_v more_o in_o that_o than_o our_o fleshly_a and_o mistrustful_a heart_n can_v easy_o be_v persuade_v of_o let_v we_o therefore_o learn_v to_o lessen_v our_o mistrustful_a care_n his_o hand_n by_o true_a and_o unfeigned_a prayer_n and_o by_o faith_n to_o depend_v upon_o he_o and_o not_o upon_o our_o travail_n no_o not_o where_o it_o be_v the_o great_a and_o promise_v the_o most_o unto_o us._n worldly_n man_n that_o depend_v whole_o in_o the_o persuasion_n of_o their_o heart_n upon_o the_o help_n of_o their_o hand_n their_o wisdom_n or_o their_o wealth_n or_o friendship_n do_v dissemble_v with_o the_o lord_n in_o this_o request_n for_o they_o seek_v that_o at_o he_o as_o his_o gift_n which_o their_o heart_n tell_v they_o that_o they_o have_v already_o at_o home_n covetous_a man_n that_o will_v gather_v fast_o than_o he_o will_v give_v how_o can_v they_o in_o truth_n seek_v it_o at_o his_o hand_n when_o they_o be_v not_o at_o any_o time_n content_a with_o that_o measure_n or_o portion_n that_o he_o do_v give_v neither_o rest_n in_o his_o distribution_n have_v such_o a_o hungry_a desire_n as_o will_v prescribe_v the_o lord_n and_o not_o be_v limit_v or_o prescribe_v by_o the_o lord_n the_o oppresser_n hard_a &_o cruel_a dealer_n that_o pretend_v to_o beg_v his_o bread_n &_o temporal_a commodity_n of_o the_o lord_n &_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n be_v the_o purveyor_n and_o provider_n for_o himself_o by_o such_o oppress_a and_o unmerciful_a mean_n as_o the_o lord_n abhor_v do_v dally_v with_o the_o lord_n deceive_v himself_o and_o make_v his_o prayer_n a_o curse_n unto_o his_o own_o soul_n and_o a_o witness_n in_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n against_o his_o own_o conscience_n in_o that_o he_o have_v profess_v in_o this_o prayer_n that_o to_o be_v the_o lord_n gift_n which_o he_o seek_v of_o sathan_n by_o such_o way_n and_o mean_n as_o he_o approve_v but_o the_o lord_n abhor_v they_o we_o pray_v here_o for_o other_o aswell_o as_o for_o ourselves_o he_o therefore_o that_o profess_v to_o pray_v for_o other_o their_o good_a estate_n concern_v temporal_a thing_n and_o yet_o convey_v that_o which_o be_v other_o or_o oppression_n as_o he_o have_v plain_o forbid_v as_o if_o he_o be_v only_o the_o god_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o not_o of_o the_o body_n also_o &_o whole_a man_n to_o provide_v for_o both_o according_a to_o the_o good_a pleasure_n of_o his_o will_n and_o we_o by_o faith_n to_o depend_v and_o wait_v for_o a_o special_a blessing_n from_o he_o even_o in_o outward_a thing_n which_o the_o ungodly_a can_v see_v into_o for_o they_o bind_v the_o lord_n so_o unto_o the_o instrument_n whereby_o he_o work_v his_o will_n that_o in_o truth_n they_o have_v the_o glory_n and_o he_o be_v altogether_o deprive_v thereof_o they_o be_v only_o his_o child_n that_o in_o truth_n acknowledge_v he_o the_o giver_n of_o these_o outward_a benefit_n &_o therefore_o will_v use_v no_o mean_n beside_o those_o which_o he_o have_v approve_v the_o other_o in_o seek_v help_n by_o mean_n forbid_v of_o he_o do_v plain_o speak_v in_o those_o their_o do_n that_o they_o have_v no_o faith_n nor_o confidence_n in_o he_o we_o may_v in_o faith_n &_o good_a hope_n ask_v those_o thing_n because_o they_o make_v for_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n who_o do_v reign_n and_o rule_v in_o earth_n by_o give_v unto_o his_o their_o want_n even_o in_o these_o outward_a and_o temporal_a thing_n according_a as_o we_o may_v learn_v in_o the_o psalm_n 146._o where_o after_o many_o word_n declare_v that_o god_n execute_v justice_n for_o the_o oppress_a give_v bread_n to_o the_o hungry_a lose_v the_o prisoner_n keep_v the_o stranger_n relieve_v the_o fatherless_a overthrow_v the_o way_n of_o the_o wicked_a immediate_o it_o follow_v the_o lord_n shall_v reign_v for_o ever_o o_o zion_n as_o if_o the_o lord_n shall_v not_o be_v know_v to_o reign_v if_o he_o shall_v fail_v his_o servant_n call_v and_o depend_v upon_o he_o in_o their_o distress_n for_o we_o may_v not_o think_v that_o he_o fail_v his_o servant_n when_o he_o give_v they_o better_a benefit_n than_o those_o which_o they_o do_v ask_v as_o if_o they_o crave_v deliverance_n out_o of_o present_a danger_n and_o he_o by_o take_v they_o in_o mercy_n out_o of_o this_o life_n work_v a_o final_a riddance_n out_o of_o all_o danger_n shall_v we_o say_v that_o the_o lord_n have_v not_o hear_v they_o likewise_o if_o their_o
necessity_n whatsoever_o endure_v long_a than_o they_o wish_v or_o increase_v upon_o they_o after_o their_o suit_n make_v for_o deliverance_n because_o the_o lord_n will_v work_v a_o more_o glorious_a to_o learn_v both_o to_o be_v content_v with_o they_o and_o to_o be_v thankful_a to_o god_n for_o they_o and_o to_o keep_v we_o in_o such_o thankful_a remembrance_n thereof_o as_o may_v make_v we_o studious_a to_o walk_v worthy_a of_o they_o to_o so_o great_a goodness_n of_o god_n towards_o we_o therein_o as_o may_v keep_v we_o occupy_v in_o care_n how_o by_o duty_n we_o may_v answer_v they_o always_o take_v heed_n lest_o we_o shall_v become_v unthankful_a even_o for_o the_o good_a which_o god_n do_v mean_a towards_o we_o in_o those_o gift_n the_o possession_n whereof_o he_o have_v give_v unto_o other_o as_o love_n be_v void_a of_o envy_n so_o be_v it_o report_v here_o by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n that_o it_o be_v void_a of_o deal_v insolent_o froward_o or_o stubborn_o for_o so_o sound_v the_o word_n and_o that_o it_o be_v not_o puff_v up_o with_o pride_n against_o he_o who_o he_o love_v moreover_o that_o it_o do_v no_o uncomely_a thing_n against_o he_o without_o have_v due_a regard_n of_o the_o dignity_n of_o the_o man_n his_o degree_n estate_n or_o condition_n whatsoever_o these_o thing_n be_v express_v in_o three_o word_n in_o the_o text_n and_o may_v be_v express_v in_o these_o three_o word_n thus_o that_o love_n deal_v not_o froward_o proud_o nor_o uncomely_a these_o thing_n do_v i_o join_v together_o in_o speak_v of_o they_o because_o they_o be_v of_o such_o affinity_n one_o with_o another_o where_o true_a love_n be_v there_o the_o man_n who_o love_v be_v so_o persuade_v of_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o other_o who_o he_o love_v and_o so_o ravish_v with_o the_o admiration_n of_o some_o one_o or_o other_o thing_n in_o he_o that_o in_o his_o judgement_n
ground_n of_o our_o heart_n and_o love_n seek_v not_o all_o her_o own_o but_o oftentimes_o frank_o and_o free_o give_v of_o her_o right_a unto_o god_n herein_o also_o we_o may_v discern_v that_o love_n have_v great_a thing_n in_o it_o that_o it_o mighty_o carry_v the_o affection_n to_o that_o which_o it_o love_v &_o keep_v they_o occupy_v there_o even_o oftentimes_o to_o the_o neglect_n of_o itself_o the_o rareness_n of_o it_o and_o the_o great_a measure_n that_o we_o shall_v see_v ourselves_o come_v short_a thereof_o must_v force_v we_o to_o often_o &_o earnest_a prayer_n to_o god_n for_o it_o wherein_o it_o shall_v be_v profitable_a to_o remember_v that_o this_o not_o seek_v of_o ourselves_o but_o the_o good_a of_o other_o be_v in_o truth_n the_o next_o way_n to_o benefit_n ourselves_o for_o as_o the_o hand_n which_o be_v occupy_v always_o in_o give_v forth_o help_v to_o the_o mouth_n or_o other_o part_n of_o the_o body_n do_v in_o so_o do_v provide_v for_o itself_o &_o have_v his_o nourishment_n help_n and_o health_n of_o that_o which_o it_o have_v give_v unto_o the_o mouth_n so_o by_o the_o especial_a work_n of_o god_n it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o our_o benefit_n be_v enclose_v in_o that_o which_o we_o bestow_v upon_o another_o and_o he_o become_v the_o best_a husband_n for_o himself_o that_o be_v most_o employ_v according_a to_o his_o call_n upon_o other_o this_o be_v a_o special_a work_n we_o may_v see_v of_o god_n grace_n for_o our_o nature_n be_v whole_o give_v to_o attend_v upon_o herself_o little_o regard_v so_o matter_n go_v well_o there_o how_o it_o fare_v with_o other_o abroad_o love_n in_o like_a manner_n be_v know_v thus_o that_o it_o be_v not_o provoke_v unto_o anger_n it_o be_v not_o easy_o incense_v though_o wrong_v be_v offer_v unto_o it_o for_o the_o heart_n be_v so_o knit_v by_o love_n that_o it_o can_v well_o bear_v many_o wrong_n this_o note_n whereby_o love_n be_v discern_v differ_v not_o much_o from_o that_o property_n which_o be_v speak_v of_o in_o the_o first_o place_n save_v that_o to_o speak_v proper_o that_o be_v a_o meekness_n join_v with_o do_n &_o this_o with_o suffer_v this_o hardness_n to_o be_v provoke_v unto_o anger_n be_v procure_v by_o the_o help_n of_o that_o which_o follow_v be_v another_o token_n of_o love_n that_o it_o think_v not_o evil_a or_o impute_v not_o evil_a for_o in_o as_o much_o as_o it_o stand_v not_o upon_o the_o matter_n examine_v the_o evil_a deal_n that_o be_v in_o it_o but_o by_o love_n either_o altogether_o pass_v over_o it_o or_o else_o twit_v and_o blame_v some_o other_o thing_n for_o it_o as_o a_o cause_n that_o move_v the_o doer_n thereunto_o and_o so_o remove_v it_o from_o he_o therefore_o it_o can_v be_v incense_v therewith_o or_o provoke_v unto_o anger_n parent_n in_o deal_v with_o their_o child_n do_v plain_o prove_v that_o love_n want_v this_o diligent_a consider_v think_v upon_o or_o through_o examine_v of_o the_o evil_a of_o their_o child_n for_o how_o many_o of_o their_o froward_a do_n do_v they_o pass_v over_o &_o not_o examine_v at_o all_o in_o how_o many_o thing_n which_o they_o see_v to_o be_v offence_n in_o they_o do_v they_o notwithstanding_o put_v over_o the_o whole_a blame_n thereof_o to_o some_o one_o thing_n or_o other_o as_o that_o their_o frowardness_n come_v for_o lack_v of_o sleep_n or_o want_v of_o meat_n etc_n etc_n for_o love_n can_v rifle_n into_o the_o evil_a to_o be_v muse_v and_o think_v much_o upon_o it_o diligent_o examine_v the_o wickedness_n how_o great_a it_o be_v that_o do_v appear_v in_o it_o love_n can_v stand_v upon_o it_o to_o gather_v together_o the_o conjecture_n that_o may_v be_v have_v of_o great_a evil_a to_o be_v in_o it_o hereby_o it_o appear_v that_o love_n be_v far_o from_o suspicion_n of_o evil_a where_o there_o be_v no_o apparent_a token_n thereof_o see_v it_o pass_v with_o such_o speed_n and_o turn_v the_o thought_n so_o soon_o from_o muse_v upon_o and_o examine_v see_v and_o know_v evil_n in_o those_o who_o it_o love_v it_o be_v also_o incident_a unto_o love_n as_o a_o true_a mark_n to_o discern_v it_o by_o not_o to_o rejoice_v in_o iniquity_n but_o to_o rejoice_v in_o the_o truth_n so_o do_v the_o holy_a ghost_n report_n of_o it_o in_o this_o place_n the_o truth_n wherein_o he_o that_o love_v be_v say_v to_o rejoice_v signify_v true_a and_o sincere_a deal_n according_a to_o the_o usual_a speech_n of_o the_o scripture_n which_o may_v also_o be_v understand_v in_o that_o it_o be_v set_v here_o against_o iniquity_n or_o unrighteousness_n as_o be_v contrary_a thereunto_o this_o property_n of_o not_o rejoice_v in_o iniquity_n be_v very_o fit_o join_v unto_o the_o former_a for_o in_o that_o it_o be_v say_v not_o to_o think_v evil_a but_o friendly_a not_o to_o impute_v it_o it_o may_v be_v think_v that_o love_n have_v a_o delight_n in_o the_o evil_a deal_n of_o he_o who_o she_o love_v therefore_o be_v this_o add_v that_o it_o rejoice_v not_o in_o his_o evil_a deal_n &_o unrighteousness_n for_o these_o may_v well_o stand_v together_o not_o to_o search_v into_o evil_a thing_n to_o withdraw_v his_o affection_n from_o the_o offender_n therein_o and_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o to_o be_v grieve_v that_o the_o thing_n be_v do_v for_o he_o well_o understand_v that_o that_o which_o be_v do_v unrighteous_o can_v not_o but_o turn_v to_o his_o discredit_n and_o reproach_n which_o he_o will_v be_v loath_a shall_v happen_v unto_o he_o who_o he_o so_o tender_o love_v the_o most_o wicked_a man_n that_o live_v will_v be_v loath_a that_o the_o man_n who_o he_o love_v shall_v do_v any_o thing_n which_o in_o his_o judgement_n can_v not_o but_o bring_v harm_n or_o hurt_v unto_o he_o and_o when_o any_o such_o thing_n escape_v he_o he_o be_v grieve_v and_o vex_v at_o it_o if_o it_o be_v say_v against_o the_o truth_n of_o this_o that_o when_o one_o wicked_a man_n love_v a_o other_o yet_o he_o will_v rejoice_v at_o many_o thing_n do_v wicked_o and_o unjust_o by_o he_o who_o he_o love_v to_o this_o it_o may_v be_v answer_v that_o he_o according_a to_o the_o blindness_n and_o hardness_n of_o his_o heart_n think_v not_o that_o his_o such_o deal_n will_v any_o way_n turn_v to_o his_o hurt_n or_o discredit_v but_o think_v rather_o that_o it_o will_v work_v his_o credit_n among_o those_o man_n that_o he_o use_v to_o make_v account_n of_o as_o for_o fear_n of_o punishment_n from_o god_o against_o he_o that_o be_v far_o out_o of_o sight_n hereupon_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o perfect_a love_n be_v not_o to_o be_v find_v but_o among_o the_o godly_a for_o all_o other_o through_o blindness_n and_o hardness_n of_o heart_n rejoice_v at_o many_o thing_n do_v by_o those_o who_o they_o love_v which_o be_v not_o sincere_a and_o righteous_a and_o therefore_o must_v turn_v to_o their_o hurt_n from_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o lord_n which_o yet_o they_o do_v not_o so_o much_o as_o once_o surmise_v because_o their_o judgement_n of_o thing_n be_v not_o according_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n here_o fall_v down_o that_o great_a pillar_n of_o popery_n which_o cry_v with_o open_a mouth_n for_o love_n and_o unity_n and_o yet_o smother_v truth_n righteousness_n and_o sincerity_n rejoice_v and_o triumph_v in_o that_o which_o the_o truth_n and_o righteousness_n of_o god_n set_v down_o in_o his_o word_n utter_o condemn_v here_o also_o be_v condemn_v that_o damnable_a sect_n which_o term_v itself_o the_o family_n of_o love_n who_o uphold_v their_o love_n like_a unto_o the_o papist_n be_v clean_o go_v from_o the_o truth_n and_o righteousness_n of_o god_n approve_v by_o his_o word_n unto_o a_o righteousness_n approve_v by_o the_o revelation_n of_o their_o own_o spirit_n make_v the_o word_n of_o god_o the_o playnesong_n which_o their_o spirit_n may_v descant_v upon_o as_o seem_v good_a unto_o itself_o but_o always_o so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o melody_n but_o from_o their_o own_o mouth_n for_o they_o will_v have_v the_o word_n to_o have_v no_o soundness_n nor_o certainty_n in_o itself_o hereby_o be_v all_o the_o friendship_n of_o the_o wicked_a condemn_v who_o will_v have_v no_o long_a like_n of_o any_o but_o such_o as_o will_v joy_v with_o they_o in_o their_o wickedness_n for_o they_o will_v not_o hold_v friendship_n with_o they_o that_o will_v not_o lend_v they_o the_o credit_n of_o their_o countenance_n and_o if_o need_v be_v of_o their_o oath_n also_o to_o help_v out_o evil_a cause_n withal_o here_o also_o be_v all_o these_o detect_v of_o want_n of_o love_n who_o publish_v abroad_o the_o infirmity_n of_o their_o brethren_n to_o those_o to_o who_o in_o no_o consideration_n it_o be_v behooveful_a to_o be_v know_v love_n rejoice_v not_o in_o iniquity_n nor_o in_o
unrighteous_a or_o not_o sincere_a deal_n of_o he_o who_o he_o love_v not_o in_o the_o unrighteous_a or_o not_o sincere_a deal_n of_o other_o towards_o he_o for_o the_o love_n which_o he_o bear_v towards_o he_o force_v he_o to_o mislike_v of_o all_o annoyance_n and_o wrong_n that_o happen_v unto_o he_o and_o because_o of_o this_o he_o can_v not_o but_o with_o grief_n hear_v of_o any_o wrong_n or_o hard_a measure_n offer_v unto_o he_o so_o far_o be_v he_o himself_o from_o deal_v evil_a or_o hardly_o with_o he_o love_n rejoice_v not_o in_o iniquity_n but_o it_o rejoice_v or_o joy_v together_o with_o he_o at_o the_o truth_n or_o sincerity_n and_o uprightness_n of_o his_o deal_n because_o that_o will_v turn_v to_o his_o good_a and_o have_v approbation_n and_o allowance_n even_o from_o man_n love_n so_o lace_v itself_o in_o the_o commendable_a do_n of_o he_o who_o it_o love_v and_o the_o man_n that_o love_v take_v pleasure_n in_o the_o well_o do_v of_o he_o who_o he_o love_v therefore_o if_o there_o be_v true_a love_n in_o we_o we_o must_v not_o only_o not_o envy_v the_o good_a do_n of_o our_o brethren_n but_o we_o must_v acquaint_v our_o heart_n to_o joy_n with_o they_o in_o their_o good_a do_v and_o good_a report_n for_o the_o same_o it_o be_v a_o good_a degree_n of_o profit_v to_o have_v drive_v away_o envy_n but_o we_o must_v proceed_v further_a to_o joy_n with_o he_o in_o his_o well_o do_v and_o deserve_a commendation_n for_o the_o same_o for_o man_n deal_v well_o with_o he_o when_o they_o shall_v justify_v his_o sincerity_n by_o their_o talk_n and_o speech_n which_o if_o our_o heart_n repine_v at_o nay_o if_o it_o do_v not_o joy_n at_o it_o that_o plain_o bewray_v want_v of_o love_n to_o be_v in_o we_o towards_o they_o when_o we_o shall_v come_v once_o to_o this_o to_o joy_v in_o heart_n at_o their_o upright_a deal_n that_o their_o good_a deal_n shall_v be_v the_o comfort_n of_o our_o heart_n we_o shall_v not_o be_v able_a to_o deny_v they_o any_o help_n that_o be_v in_o we_o of_o counsel_n or_o admonition_n that_o may_v either_o encourage_v they_o to_o good_a or_o withdraw_v they_o from_o that_o which_o be_v evil_a nay_o we_o shall_v be_v ready_a to_o offer_v it_o unasked_a for_o especial_o when_o we_o shall_v perceive_v some_o need_n thereof_o these_o thing_n which_o be_v in_o the_o last_o place_n attribute_v unto_o love_n as_o that_o it_o suffer_v all_o thing_n it_o believe_v all_o thing_n hope_v all_o thing_n endure_v all_o thing_n do_v declare_v that_o a_o love_a man_n be_v of_o a_o very_a patient_a spirit_n toward_o his_o brother_n even_o in_o his_o infirmity_n and_o that_o he_o lay_v his_o hand_n soft_o upon_o the_o sore_n of_o he_o who_o he_o love_v and_o desire_v to_o have_v they_o heal_v have_v a_o great_a burden_n be_v by_o that_o universal_a note_n to_o declare_v how_o much_o they_o be_v incline_v that_o way_n and_o easy_o induce_v thereunto_o when_o there_o be_v any_o good_a matter_n to_o move_v they_o therein_o as_o for_o that_o lightness_n in_o believe_v that_o come_v for_o want_v of_o wit_n and_o judgement_n it_o be_v easy_o discern_v from_o that_o which_o proceed_v of_o charity_n and_o love_n when_o we_o shall_v have_v try_v true_o our_o deal_n toward_o god_n our_o deal_n towards_o our_o neighbour_n and_o our_o deal_n in_o our_o several_a calling_n by_o these_o affection_n which_o be_v report_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n to_o be_v in_o love_n it_o will_v appear_v that_o to_o be_v a_o christian_n be_v a_o rare_a matter_n a_o mighty_a rare_a and_o especial_a work_n of_o god_n now_o let_v we_o pray_v etc_n etc_n the_o xiij_o lecture_n upon_o the_o three_o chapter_n to_o the_o galatian_n and_o three_o verse_n for_o as_o many_o as_o be_v of_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n be_v under_o the_o curse_n for_o it_o be_v write_v curse_a be_v every_o man_n that_o continue_v not_o in_o all_o thing_n which_o be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o law_n to_o do_v they_o have_v learn_v what_o thing_n be_v to_o be_v do_v of_o we_o and_o in_o what_o manner_n they_o be_v to_o be_v do_v it_o remain_v to_o consider_v whether_o any_o man_n can_v do_v all_o these_o good_a deed_n to_o have_v that_o tender_a affection_n of_o love_n in_o it_o by_o these_o property_n which_o never_o be_v want_v where_o love_n be_v to_o be_v find_v according_a as_o of_o late_o it_o be_v prove_v unto_o we_o the_o scripture_n be_v plain_a in_o this_o matter_n that_o no_o man_n can_v fulfil_v the_o law_n in_o the_o epistle_n to_o the_o galatian_n the_o apostle_n affirm_v all_o those_o to_o be_v curse_a that_o claim_n righteousness_n for_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n which_o they_o have_v do_v and_o he_o use_v this_o reason_n to_o prove_v that_o all_o such_o be_v under_o the_o curse_n for_o it_o be_v write_v 3.10_o say_v he_o curse_v be_v every_o man_n that_o continue_v not_o in_o all_o thing_n which_o be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o law_n to_o do_v they_o take_v it_o for_o a_o undoubted_a truth_n that_o no_o man_n continue_v in_o do_v all_o those_o thing_n this_o reason_n be_v no_o reason_n if_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n may_v be_v believe_v it_o be_v no_o reason_n with_o man_n that_o continue_v in_o all_o thing_n that_o be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o law_n to_o do_v they_o and_o therefore_o think_v that_o he_o have_v sufficient_o prove_v that_o which_o he_o affirm_v that_o all_o man_n who_o lie_v claim_v to_o righteousness_n by_o the_o work_v of_o the_o law_n be_v accurse_v the_o apostle_n affirm_v every_o man_n to_o be_v accurse_v that_o seek_v for_o righteousness_n from_o the_o law_n because_o the_o law_n deal_v so_o strict_o and_o hardly_o with_o man_n that_o it_o curse_v every_o man_n who_o continue_v not_o in_o do_v all_o the_o thing_n command_v in_o it_o which_o the_o apostle_n take_v to_o be_v impossible_a and_o thereupon_o be_v bold_a to_o affirm_v all_o man_n to_o lie_v under_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n for_o not_o have_v be_v impute_v unto_o he_o for_o righteousness_n but_o that_o they_o wrought_v his_o righteousness_n either_o whole_o or_o at_o the_o least_o in_o part_n but_o the_o purpose_n of_o the_o apostle_n be_v to_o signify_v that_o a_o true_a faith_n be_v fruitful_a in_o good_a work_n and_o be_v witness_v by_o they_o and_o that_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o a_o true_a faith_n shall_v not_o be_v rich_a in_o good_a work_n or_o that_o righteousness_n shall_v be_v without_o holiness_n of_o life_n for_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o we_o receive_v comfort_n in_o his_o mercy_n by_o faith_n shall_v not_o witness_v the_o same_o by_o a_o life_n frame_v to_o the_o like_n of_o he_o of_o who_o we_o have_v those_o comfort_n the_o last_o of_o these_o benefit_n that_o we_o receive_v by_o christ_n be_v redemption_n that_o be_v the_o delivery_n from_o all_o danger_n affliction_n and_o corruption_n it_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o his_o resurrection_n to_o raise_v we_o out_o of_o all_o extremity_n even_o from_o death_n and_o the_o grave_n and_o to_o place_v we_o with_o his_o saint_n in_o that_o glory_n that_o he_o have_v purchase_v for_o us._n 1.14_o thus_o be_v redemption_n take_v for_o our_o freedom_n and_o delivery_n from_o our_o wretchedness_n for_o we_o hold_v not_o with_o the_o adversary_n of_o god_n his_o grace_n that_o our_o good_a deed_n do_v redeem_v we_o from_o the_o danger_n holiness_n and_o sanctification_n of_o life_n and_o well_o do_v guide_v and_o direct_v by_o his_o word_n a_o false_a persuasion_n to_o avoid_v danger_n by_o our_o own_o satisfaction_n in_o stead_n not_o whether_o it_o have_v come_v at_o their_o entreaty_n or_o no_o because_o they_o know_v not_o what_o they_o have_v pray_v for_o &_o so_o receive_v they_o no_o sure_a &_o certain_a testimony_n of_o the_o lord_n help_v it_o be_v a_o singular_a blessing_n to_o have_v his_o goodness_n towards_o we_o particular_o in_o assure_a experience_n it_o will_v be_v answer_v for_o they_o that_o pray_v in_o a_o unknown_a tongue_n that_o it_o skill_v not_o though_o they_o themselves_o know_v not_o what_o they_o pray_v in_o asmuch_o as_o god_n know_v all_o thing_n and_o therefore_o understand_v it_o
