it_o prevail_v all_o this_o may_v be_v in_o conscience_n and_o yet_o the_o conscience_n never_o quicken_v indeed_o and_o we_o have_v show_v you_o all_o these_o and_o clear_v they_o unto_o you_o so_o that_o you_o see_v what_o need_n there_o be_v to_o inquire_v what_o the_o life_n of_o conscience_n be_v after_o the_o handle_n of_o these_o seven_o particular_n we_o give_v you_o five_o reason_n to_o prove_v that_o these_o be_v not_o argument_n that_o the_o conscience_n be_v true_o alive_a that_o the_o conscience_n may_v do_v all_o this_o and_o yet_o not_o have_v the_o grace_n of_o life_n in_o it_o first_o because_o all_o these_o work_n of_o conscience_n may_v be_v in_o a_o natural_a man_n 2._o because_o the_o conscience_n notwithstanding_o all_o these_o may_v be_v dead_a than_o ever_o it_o be_v three_o because_o such_o a_o conscience_n as_o this_o may_v be_v foolish_a and_o childish_a and_o soon_o please_v if_o the_o conscience_n be_v alive_a indeed_o nothing_o will_v content_v it_o but_o the_o favour_n of_o god_n and_o the_o image_n of_o god_n and_o true_a faith_n '_o and_o true_a peace_n etc._n etc._n but_o this_o conscience_n may_v be_v soon_o please_v if_o it_o have_v but_o any_o colour_n of_o grace_n and_o goodness_n that_o be_v able_a to_o still_o it_o &_o quiet_a it_o four_o because_o the_o conscience_n though_o it_o be_v thus_o stir_v as_o you_o hear_v it_o be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v alive_a that_o it_o use_v to_o be_v a_o help_n &_o furtherance_n unto_o one_o lust_n five_o because_o this_o conscience_n be_v not_o universal_a it_o cull_v out_o only_o some_o particular_a sin_n to_o be_v violent_a against_o and_o let_v alone_a other_o it_o pick_v out_o some_o particular_a duty_n and_o good_a course_n to_o be_v very_o eager_a for_o and_o be_v careless_a of_o other_o you_o will_v say_v then_o what_o be_v conscience_n life_n when_o be_v the_o conscience_n say_v true_o to_o be_v quicken_v for_o the_o open_n of_o this_o you_o must_v know_v there_o be_v two_o life_n of_o conscience_n in_o a_o godly_a man_n the_o first_o be_v a_o relative_a life_n whereby_o it_o be_v alive_a when_o the_o man_n be_v alive_a the_o second_o be_v a_o simple_a life_n the_o first_o i_o say_v be_v a_o relative_a life_n whereby_o it_o be_v say_v to_o be_v alive_a when_o the_o man_n who_o it_o be_v be_v alive_a for_o conscience_n be_v the_o reflection_n of_o the_o soul_n the_o soul_n privity_n to_o itself_o between_o god_n and_o itself_o and_o therefore_o if_o the_o soul_n be_v alive_a towards_o god_n than_o the_o conscience_n be_v alive_a too_o as_o the_o apostle_n
