try_v all_o profession_n and_o every_o one_o work_n must_v come_v to_o trial_n therefore_o consider_v your_o faith_n and_o the_o ground_n author_n and_o effect_n of_o it_o for_o there_o be_v a_o dead_a faith_n and_o a_o live_a faith_n and_o a_o ground_n for_o both_o now_o the_o live_a faith_n have_v jesus_n for_o its_o author_n and_o the_o power_n of_o god_n for_o its_o ground_n and_o its_o effect_n declare_v it_o to_o be_v the_o live_a faith_n for_o it_o work_v in_o they_o that_o have_v it_o by_o love_n unto_o the_o purify_n of_o their_o heart_n and_o it_o be_v their_o victory_n over_o the_o world_n these_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o live_a faith_n in_o the_o saint_n of_o old_a and_o it_o have_v the_o same_o now_o as_o they_o can_v witness_v who_o have_v receive_v it_o now_o there_o be_v a_o faith_n which_o stand_v but_o in_o word_n not_o in_o the_o power_n and_o this_o be_v a_o dead_a faith_n it_o can_v work_v it_o purify_v not_o the_o heart_n it_o give_v not_o victory_n over_o the_o world_n nor_o access_n to_o god_n as_o the_o live_a faith_n do_v oh_o friend_n labour_v not_o to_o content_v yourselves_o with_o a_o dead_a faith_n but_o wait_v that_o you_o may_v hear_v the_o leave_v word_n by_o which_o the_o live_a faith_n come_v now_o a_o man_n may_v declare_v of_o the_o word_n of_o life_n as_o the_o scripture_n do_v and_o many_o may_v believe_v the_o word_n to_o be_v true_a and_o profess_v the_o same_o and_o yet_o if_o they_o receive_v not_o the_o live_a word_n or_o witness_v in_o their_o own_o heart_n their_o faith_n will_v prove_v but_o a_o dead_a faith_n and_o they_o will_v have_v but_o word_n for_o its_o ground_n but_o they_o that_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o truth_n declare_v or_o read_v they_o and_o then_o feel_v the_o live_a word_n arise_v in_o themselves_o witness_v to_o the_o word_n that_o they_o have_v read_v or_o hear_v that_o they_o be_v true_a overpower_v they_o to_o believe_v the_o same_o or_o if_o the_o word_n of_o life_n speak_v to_o any_o one_o understanding_n when_o word_n outward_o be_v not_o speak_v and_o they_o be_v overpower_v by_o the_o word_n to_o believe_v the_o same_o such_o come_v indeed_o to_o feel_v and_o know_v how_o the_o live_a faith_n come_v and_o be_v wrought_v and_o they_o come_v also_o to_o see_v that_o this_o faith_n stand_v in_o the_o power_n of_o god_n and_o not_o in_o word_n and_o that_o jesus_n who_o save_v from_o sin_n be_v the_o author_n of_o it_o and_o all_o that_o come_v into_o this_o state_n if_o they_o wilful_o turn_v not_o from_o the_o power_n they_o will_v feel_v their_o faith_n increase_v in_o and_o by_o the_o power_n and_o the_o effect_n of_o it_o will_v daily_o come_v to_o be_v manifest_a which_o will_v be_v a_o evidence_n unto_o they_o to_o prove_v that_o it_o be_v the_o live_a faith_n for_o they_o will_v feel_v it_o give_v they_o access_n to_o god_n oh_o you_o professor_n i_o speak_v what_o i_o know_v and_o witness_n and_o without_o this_o faith_n you_o can_v please_v god_n and_o concern_v the_o promise_n of_o god_n this_o know_v the_o promise_n be_v unto_o the_o seed_n not_o unto_o seed_n as_o of_o many_o but_o unto_o the_o seed_n which_o be_v one_o which_o be_v christ_n so_o all_o that_o come_v to_o have_v right_a unto_o the_o promise_v of_o god_n they_o must_v come_v to_o be_v of_o the_o seed_n unto_o which_o the_o promise_n be_v now_o it_o be_v the_o word_n of_o life_n which_o beget_v unto_o god_n and_o bring_v to_o be_v of_o the_o seed_n which_o be_v the_o heir_n of_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n therefore_o wait_v in_o the_o presence_n which_o only_o can_v give_v satisfaction_n unto_o your_o immortal_a soul_n therefore_o as_o you_o tender_v the_o good_a of_o your_o own_o soul_n &_o eternal_a peace_n cease_v hunt_v abroad_o in_o your_o imagination_n and_o leave_v off_o wander_v from_o mountain_n to_o hill_n and_o from_o hill_n to_o mountain_n where_o several_a of_o you_o have_v even_o weary_v yourselves_o for_o very_a vanity_n &_o have_v not_o find_v a_o rest_a place_n and_o return_v home_o retire_v your_o mind_n inward_a unto_o that_o which_o oft_o spring_v in_o you_o give_v you_o the_o sensible_a knowledge_n and_o feel_n of_o your_o particular_a condition_n and_o put_v you_o in_o remembrance_n of_o the_o deal_n of_o god_n with_o you_o in_o time_n past_a for_o that_o which_o thus_o spring_v in_o you_o be_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n which_o be_v give_v you_o to_o profit_n withal_o oh_o friend_n turn_v not_o from_o this_o gift_n in_o yourselves_o as_o you_o have_v do_v for_o by_o your_o turn_n from_o this_o pure_a life_n when_o it_o have_v visit_v you_o by_o its_o oft_o put_v you_o in_o remembrance_n wherein_o you_o go_v wrong_a you_o have_v come_v to_o loose_v the_o sensibleness_n true_a desire_n in_o you_o to_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o which_o have_v bring_v some_o of_o you_o into_o lowliness_n of_o mind_n and_o to_o walk_v humble_o with_o the_o lord_n in_o his_o pure_a fear_n for_o some_o time_n for_o if_o ever_o you_o come_v to_o witness_v the_o true_a desire_n of_o your_o soul_n satisfy_v and_o you_o establish_v in_o true_a peace_n you_o must_v receive_v the_o live_a principle_n of_o god_n in_o your_o own_o particular_a vessel_n which_o principle_n i_o call_v the_o light_n it_o be_v a_o proper_a name_n for_o it_o because_o it_o make_v manifest_v all_o thing_n that_o be_v just_o reprove_v and_o whatsoever_o do_v make_v manifest_a the_o same_o be_v light_n but_o i_o shall_v not_o desire_v to_o tie_v up_o any_o of_o you_o to_o give_v this_o principle_n of_o truth_n only_o the_o name_n of_o light_n for_o if_o you_o come_v to_o believe_v in_o it_o and_o receive_v it_o in_o the_o love_n of_o it_o and_o walk_v in_o obedience_n to_o its_o drawing_n leading_n and_o requiring_n i_o shall_v not_o matter_n if_o you_o call_v it_o the_o truth_n or_o the_o gift_n of_o god_n or_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n or_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n or_o the_o engraft_a word_n or_o the_o manifestation_n of_o god_n or_o christ_n or_o a_o measure_n of_o the_o eternal_a be_v or_o fullness_n or_o divine_a nature_n or_o any_o other_o name_n which_o may_v true_o be_v give_v unto_o it_o but_o this_o be_v that_o which_o i_o desire_v that_o you_o all_o may_v receive_v the_o thing_n it_o self_n which_o have_v so_o oft_o make_v manifest_v your_o condition_n unto_o you_o and_o sometime_o bring_v you_o into_o brokenness_n of_o spirit_n object_n but_o some_o may_v say_v when_o we_o have_v have_v our_o condition_n make_v manifest_a unto_o we_o and_o when_o we_o have_v be_v bring_v into_o brokenness_n of_o spirit_n and_o have_v have_v tender_a desire_n beget_v in_o we_o towards_o god_n to_o do_v his_o will_n it_o have_v oft_o be_v either_o when_o we_o have_v be_v read_v the_o scripture_n or_o hear_v they_o preach_v or_o read_v by_o other_o and_o therefore_o we_o believe_v the_o scripture_n have_v do_v these_o against_o in_o such_o a_o scripture_n as_o you_o read_v or_o hear_v yea_o it_o be_v the_o measure_n of_o god_n truth_n in_o your_o own_o vessel_n that_o have_v so_o make_v manifest_v your_o particular_a condition_n unto_o you_o and_o have_v persuade_v and_o overpower_v you_o and_o make_v you_o believe_v and_o sometime_o confess_v particular_o that_o thou_o be_v the_o man_n or_o woman_n or_o child_n that_o be_v guilty_a of_o that_o or_o have_v need_v of_o that_o which_o thou_o then_o do_v read_v or_o hear_v that_o the_o scripture_n declare_v against_o or_o of_o and_o when_o the_o power_n of_o god_n have_v thus_o wrought_v in_o you_o at_o that_o time_n when_o you_o have_v hear_v or_o read_v the_o scripture_n you_o have_v sometime_o indeed_o be_v bring_v into_o brokenness_n of_o any_o thing_n outward_o but_o the_o pure_a operation_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o power_n of_o truth_n in_o some_o of_o you_o have_v do_v these_o thing_n and_o wrought_v your_o mind_n into_o come_v to_o witness_v a_o particular_a satisfaction_n and_o that_o you_o may_v come_v to_o feel_v the_o pure_a image_n of_o the_o holy_a god_n restore_v in_o you_o even_o his_o everlasting_a righteousness_n his_o power_n his_o wisdom_n his_o life_n and_o glory_n raise_v up_o in_o you_o to_o have_v dominion_n and_o to_o rule_v over_o all_o the_o earth_n and_o to_o subdue_v it_o that_o so_o the_o pure_a god_n of_o life_n and_o virtue_n may_v be_v glorify_v in_o your_o mortal_a body_n and_o that_o you_o may_v all_o come_v to_o feel_v and_o witness_v a_o everlasting_a habitation_n of_o rest_n and_o peace_n in_o he_o who_o be_v worthy_a of_o all_o honour_n and_o praise_v and_o thanksgiving_n and_o dominion_n for_o evermore_o amen_n now_o some_o of_o you_o who_o have_v be_v ancient_a the_o truth_n you_o must_v then_o lay_v down_o and_o leave_v and_o forsake_v all_o that_o which_o you_o have_v hold_v up_o and_o practise_v in_o your_o own_o will_n which_o you_o be_v never_o lead_v or_o require_v to_o hold_v up_o or_o practise_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n but_o i_o do_v know_v and_o own_o that_o there_o be_v a_o pure_a live_a principle_n of_o god_n oft_o stir_v in_o you_o in_o your_o profession_n by_o which_o principle_n of_o god_n you_o oft_o see_v that_o you_o be_v wrong_n and_o that_o you_o do_v that_o which_o be_v not_o well-pleasing_a the_o sight_n of_o god_n in_o your_o profession_n for_o that_o principle_n of_o god_n in_o you_o the_o light_n judge_v and_o condemn_v you_o for_o many_o of_o your_o action_n which_o you_o act_v and_o sometime_o the_o lord_n witness_v bring_v you_o into_o a_o tender_a low_a condition_n and_o then_o open_v thing_n unto_o the_o seed_n in_o you_o but_o you_o not_o take_v heed_n to_o the_o light_n to_o be_v the_o guide_n and_o stay_v of_o your_o mind_n you_o continue_v not_o long_o in_o that_o condition_n but_o you_o consult_v with_o the_o subtlety_n which_o draw_v you_o from_o god_n witness_n what_o you_o shall_v do_v and_o so_o wait_v not_o in_o that_o which_o bring_v you_o into_o tenderness_n to_o receive_v god_n counsel_n in_o that_o but_o you_o take_v counsel_n of_o the_o serpent_n and_o your_o own_o heart_n and_o so_o run_v into_o thing_n which_o god_n never_o require_v at_o your_o hand_n and_o therefore_o god_n have_v no_o regard_n unto_o your_o worship_n because_o it_o be_v not_o in_o the_o spirit_n and_o in_o the_o truth_n you_o not_o be_v guide_v therein_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n so_o unto_o that_o which_o be_v in_o the_o beginning_n you_o must_v all_o come_v which_o be_v christ_n the_o true_a light_n who_o have_v enlighten_v you_o and_o you_o must_v learn_v of_o he_o who_o be_v the_o light_n of_o life_n the_o word_n and_o the_o power_n by_o which_o all_o thing_n be_v make_v and_o be_v uphold_v and_o you_o must_v be_v subject_a unto_o the_o measure_n of_o he_o in_o you_o and_o this_o his_o measure_n if_o you_o submit_v to_o it_o that_o will_v bring_v you_o to_o cease_v from_o your_o own_o will_n and_o work_n and_o to_o wait_v in_o silence_n and_o patience_n to_o see_v and_o feel_v christ_n the_o power_n of_o god_n to_o work_v all_o your_o work_n in_o you_o and_o for_o you_o and_o if_o you_o own_o the_o light_n that_o will_v plain_o show_v unto_o you_o how_o god_n former_o appear_v unto_o you_o and_o how_o you_o go_v from_o his_o appearance_n so_o the_o light_n will_v own_o that_o which_o god_n open_v unto_o you_o at_o any_o time_n but_o it_o will_v deny_v and_o condemn_v your_o own_o imagination_n which_o you_o mix_v with_o that_o which_o god_n open_v unto_o you_o and_o so_o unto_o this_o witness_n of_o the_o lord_n you_o must_v all_o come_v and_o believe_v and_o wait_v in_o that_o which_o will_v separate_v the_o precious_a from_o the_o vile_a before_o that_o can_v be_v satisfy_v in_o you_o which_o breathe_v after_o god_n so_o my_o tender_a love_n and_o compassion_n be_v unto_o that_o in_o you_o which_o be_v not_o yet_o satisfy_v but_o do_v true_o hunger_n and_o thirst_n after_o the_o life_n and_o power_n of_o truth_n and_o my_o soul_n do_v travel_n for_o freedom_n and_o satisfaction_n of_o that_o seed_n and_o i_o suffer_v with_o it_o and_o bear_v many_o thing_n for_o its_o sake_n for_o i_o have_v true_a unity_n and_o fellowship_n with_o that_o in_o you_o and_o i_o know_v it_o and_o be_o know_v of_o it_o but_o i_o can_v have_v unity_n with_o many_o of_o your_o practice_n which_o you_o have_v be_v in_o because_o they_o have_v cause_v the_o seed_n in_o you_o with_o which_o i_o have_v unity_n exceed_o to_o suffer_v you_v not_o be_v guide_v and_o lead_v into_o they_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n and_o so_o against_o all_o such_o practice_n i_o do_v bear_v witness_n in_o the_o spirit_n of_o meekness_n and_o i_o labour_n in_o the_o spirit_n of_o love_n to_o turn_v people_n mind_n unto_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n which_o be_v give_v to_o every_o man_n wherewith_o to_o profit_v so_o all_o people_n feel_v that_o and_o mind_n that_o and_o hearken_v unto_o that_o which_o oft_o rise_v in_o your_o heart_n against_o lust_n against_o covetousness_n against_o pride_n against_o vain_a and_o needless_a word_n and_o thought_n and_o against_o all_o evil_n in_o its_o appearance_n and_o as_o you_o all_o mind_n this_o principle_n which_o move_v and_o stir_v in_o you_o against_o all_o evil_a you_o will_v feel_v it_o divide_v your_o good_a word_n from_o your_o bad_a word_n and_o good_a thought_n from_o bad_a thought_n and_o good_a deed_n from_o bad_a deed_n and_o that_o which_o divide_v betwixt_o these_o and_o show_v you_o the_o difference_n of_o they_o this_o be_v the_o word_n which_o moses_n and_o paul_n write_v of_o which_o be_v nigh_o in_o the_o mouth_n and_o in_o the_o heart_n yea_o this_o be_v the_o word_n of_o reconciliation_n which_o reconcile_v to_o god_n this_o be_v the_o engraft_a word_n which_o be_v able_a to_o save_v the_o soul_n now_o you_o be_v
