certain_a knowledge_n of_o their_o own_o gift_n and_o grace_n which_o they_o feel_v wrought_v and_o work_v in_o their_o heart_n and_o life_n then_o of_o other_o man_n which_o they_o but_o conjecture_v of_o our_o justification_n the_o church_n or_o sacrament_n or_o any_o other_o weighty_a point_n yet_o not_o any_o such_o error_n make_v a_o spiritual_a disease_n but_o only_o when_o as_o it_o happen_v church_n otherwise_o if_o it_o be_v a_o time_n of_o ignorance_n and_o darkness_n wherein_o that_o truth_n be_v reveal_v the_o most_o grievous_a error_n that_o be_v do_v not_o argue_v the_o distemperature_n of_o the_o soul_n or_o make_v a_o spiritual_a disease_n as_o we_o know_v no_o man_n account_v he_o either_o blind_a or_o ill_o sight_v who_o can_v see_v and_o discern_v thing_n in_o the_o night_n or_o in_o the_o dark_a dungeon_n or_o he_o to_o be_v of_o a_o evil_a constitution_n of_o body_n who_o be_v infect_v with_o a_o common_a sickness_n or_o plague_n but_o it_o come_v often_o to_o pass_v that_o the_o faithful_a be_v ignorant_a when_o they_o may_v see_v the_o truth_n it_o be_v by_o other_o see_v and_o acknowledge_v in_o this_o case_n great_a error_n argue_v a_o evil_a constitution_n of_o the_o mind_n &_o a_o unsound_a judgement_n yea_o they_o make_v our_o regeneration_n to_o be_v doubt_v of_o and_o call_v into_o question_n for_o this_o be_v a_o property_n of_o a_o mind_n sanctify_a and_o enlighten_v by_o god_n spirit_n if_o not_o to_o search_v and_o find_v out_o the_o truth_n when_o it_o be_v unknowen_a yet_o to_o acknowledge_v and_o receive_v it_o when_o it_o be_v offer_v but_o notwithstanding_o all_o this_o it_o can_v be_v deny_v for_o the_o experience_n of_o all_o age_n do_v witness_v it_o that_o man_n true_o regenerate_v may_v both_o live_v and_o die_v in_o great_a and_o most_o dangerous_a error_n yea_o when_o as_o the_o truth_n be_v both_o expound_v to_o they_o by_o other_o and_o also_o seek_v for_o by_o their_o own_o labour_n and_o continual_a take_v at_o those_o who_o profess_v this_o regeneration_n for_o the_o first_o although_o it_o may_v seem_v a_o thing_n not_o to_o be_v name_v in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n yet_o many_o of_o those_o who_o profess_v themselves_o to_o be_v christian_n have_v in_o their_o heart_n and_o mind_n no_o other_o religion_n than_o atheism_n no_o god_n but_o their_o own_o belly_n no_o hope_n of_o any_o other_o world_n than_o this_o which_o they_o present_o enjoy_v they_o say_v in_o their_o heart_n that_o there_o be_v no_o god_n nor_o devil_n no_o heaven_n nor_o hell_n no_o reward_n for_o the_o godly_a nor_o punishment_n appoint_v for_o the_o wicked_a no_o truth_n in_o the_o scripture_n and_o that_o it_o be_v but_o folly_n to_o serve_v god_n or_o at_o the_o least_o they_o do_v so_o doubt_v of_o the_o truth_n of_o these_o thing_n that_o they_o be_v not_o by_o the_o consideration_n of_o they_o either_o move_v to_o any_o good_a or_o restrain_v from_o any_o evil_n as_o the_o apostle_n write_v to_o the_o corinthian_n among_o who_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o resurrection_n from_o death_n be_v call_v in_o question_n that_o some_o of_o they_o be_v ignorant_a of_o god_n that_o be_v be_v mere_a atheist_n that_o this_o be_v the_o religion_n of_o many_o christian_n it_o appear_v both_o by_o their_o life_n &_o deal_n which_o be_v altogether_o void_a of_o conscience_n and_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o also_o by_o the_o plain_a and_o voluntary_a confession_n of_o the_o simple_a sort_n be_v by_o sickness_n fear_n hope_v love_n or_o any_o other_o mean_n make_v to_o declare_v their_o conscience_n in_o this_o behalf_n these_o man_n can_v possible_o seek_v for_o regeneration_n see_v that_o they_o make_v no_o account_n of_o eternal_a salvation_n whereunto_o it_o lead_v and_o therefore_o this_o hindrance_n can_v be_v take_v away_o but_o by_o prove_v that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n who_o have_v promise_v and_o will_v certain_o perform_v it_o eternal_a salvation_n unto_o all_o those_o that_o seek_v for_o it_o as_o they_o ought_v to_o do_v but_o we_o be_v not_o here_o to_o take_v in_o hand_n the_o demonstration_n of_o the_o principle_n of_o religion_n the_o which_o require_v be_v to_o think_v no_o otherwise_o but_o that_o they_o be_v true_o endue_v with_o faith_n how_o fruitless_a and_o altogether_o barren_a of_o good_a work_n they_o be_v need_v not_o marvel_v why_o most_o man_n either_o decrease_n or_o stand_v at_o a_o stay_n in_o godliness_n but_o may_v easy_o see_v and_o acknowledge_v that_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v lose_v for_o want_n of_o use_n and_o the_o practice_n of_o christian_a duty_n for_o now_o a_o day_n christians_n be_v too_o much_o addict_v to_o the_o world_n and_o worldly_a pleasure_n content_v themselves_o with_o the_o performance_n of_o those_o christian_a duty_n which_o belong_v to_o god_n as_o be_v prayer_n hear_v the_o word_n receive_v the_o sacrament_n lead_v a_o unblameable_a life_n but_o as_o for_o the_o duty_n of_o love_n and_o mercy_n which_o can_v be_v perform_v without_o cost_n the_o impair_n of_o our_o worldly_a state_n and_o diminish_v of_o our_o earthly_a pleasure_n these_o be_v not_o to_o be_v find_v among_o
