we_o may_v the_o better_o entertain_v the_o lord_n and_o master_n when_o he_o come_v this_o point_n that_o bless_a martyr_n saint_n bylney_n well_o consider_v who_o oftentimes_o before_o his_o burn_a and_o martyrdom_n do_v put_v his_o finger_n into_o the_o flame_n of_o a_o candle_n not_o only_o to_o make_v trial_n of_o his_o ability_n in_o suffering_n but_o also_o to_o arm_v strengthen_v and_o prepare_v himself_o against_o great_a torment_n and_o pain_n in_o his_o death_n which_o he_o do_v suffer_v with_o the_o more_o ease_n and_o thus_o you_o see_v the_o four_o duty_n which_o we_o must_v the_o one_o concern_v his_o soul_n the_o other_o his_o body_n the_o duty_n concern_v his_o soul_n be_v that_o he_o must_v arm_v and_o furnish_v himself_o against_o the_o immoderate_a fear_n of_o present_a death_n and_o the_o reason_n hereof_o be_v very_o plain_a because_o how_o soever_o natural_o man_n fear_v death_n through_o the_o whole_a course_n of_o their_o life_n more_o or_o less_o yet_o in_o time_n of_o sickness_n when_o death_n approach_v this_o natural_a fear_n breed_v in_o the_o bone_n will_v most_o of_o all_o show_n itself_o even_o in_o such_o sort_n as_o it_o will_v astonish_v the_o sense_n of_o the_o sick_a party_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o we_o shall_v use_v some_o mean_n to_o strengthen_v ourselves_o against_o the_o fear_n of_o death_n
