liberty_n where_o it_o be_v show_v that_o this_o law_n accidental_o become_v very_o prejudicial_a to_o the_o great_a design_n of_o set_v man_n free_a from_o the_o power_n of_o their_o lust_n in_o several_a particular_n four_o that_o none_o but_o the_o jew_n be_v oblige_v to_o the_o observance_n of_o this_o law_n first_o we_o will_v demonstrate_v the_o truth_n of_o this_o assertion_n that_o christian_a liberty_n consist_v in_o freedom_n to_o holy_a obedience_n in_o deliverance_n from_o the_o power_n and_o dominion_n of_o sin_n together_o with_o the_o direful_a effect_n and_o consequent_n thereof_o this_o we_o will_v do_v by_o these_o follow_a argument_n first_o this_o be_v as_o we_o have_v show_v incomparable_o the_o best_a and_o most_o glorious_a of_o liberty_n and_o therefore_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v at_o least_o principal_o and_o in_o the_o most_o eminent_a sense_n our_o christian_a liberty_n for_o whatsoever_o benefit_n our_o bless_a lord_n be_v any_o where_o say_v to_o have_v procure_v for_o we_o the_o absolute_o best_a of_o the_o kind_n be_v always_o to_o be_v understand_v for_o instance_n whereas_o he_o say_v that_o he_o be_v come_v that_o we_o may_v have_v life_n he_o mean_v the_o best_a of_o life_n the_o spiritual_a life_n of_o the_o soul_n here_o and_o eternal_a life_n hereafter_o by_o the_o riches_n he_o be_v say_v to_o bestow_v be_v mean_v those_o whereby_o the_o soul_n be_v enrich_v the_o divine_a grace_n and_o virtue_n call_v
and_o grave_a whatsoever_o thing_n be_v just_a or_o exact_o agreeable_a to_o the_o rule_n of_o do_v as_o we_o will_v be_v do_v unto_o whatsoever_o thing_n be_v pure_a or_o far_o from_o all_o show_n and_o appearance_n of_o unchastity_n whatsoever_o thing_n be_v lovely_a or_o which_o tend_v to_o secure_v to_o we_o love_n among_o man_n such_o as_o all_o work_n of_o benignity_n mercy_n and_o we_o the_o great_a freedom_n and_o confidence_n as_o before_o god_n so_o before_o man_n too_o if_o there_o be_v any_o virtue_n if_o there_o be_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v by_o good_a man_n reckon_v in_o the_o number_n of_o virtue_n and_o if_o there_o be_v any_o praise_n or_o any_o thing_n laudable_a and_o praiseworthy_a all_o these_o thing_n as_o the_o apostle_n in_o the_o general_a here_o enjoin_v we_o to_o think_v upon_o they_o so_o they_o be_v very_o particular_o and_o as_o clear_o and_o perspicuous_o recommend_v to_o we_o to_o be_v careful_o observe_v by_o we_o in_o the_o new_a testament_n there_o be_v nothing_o which_o it_o become_v we_o to_o do_v or_o forbear_v whether_o in_o reference_n to_o god_n our_o great_a creator_n governor_n and_o benefactor_n or_o to_o our_o fellow-creature_n or_o to_o our_o own_o soul_n and_o body_n but_o here_o we_o find_v it_o again_o we_o may_v observe_v all_o these_o in_o our_o saviour_n life_n also_o wherein_o he_o set_v we_o a_o example_n that_o we_o shall_v follow_v his_o step_n and_o it_o be_v a_o most_o admirable_a example_n of_o piety_n towards_o god_n of_o love_n to_o he_o trust_v in_o he_o and_o submission_n to_o his_o will_n of_o charity_n to_o all_o man_n even_o his_o great_a enemy_n and_o of_o humility_n meekness_n temperance_n purity_n contempt_n of_o the_o world_n and_o heavenly-mindedness_a he_o that_o shall_v observe_v how_o our_o bless_a saviour_n live_v can_v be_v ignorant_a of_o any_o of_o those_o law_n of_o righteousness_n and_o goodness_n which_o before_o his_o come_n the_o world_n be_v so_o lamentable_o in_o not_o a_o few_o instance_n to_o seek_v in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o through_o that_o blindness_n which_o by_o the_o customary_a gratify_v their_o vile_a affection_n man_n have_v
