thing_n of_o peace_n be_v hide_v from_o the_o eye_n of_o jerusalem_n before_o they_o be_v close_v by_o the_o hand_n of_o death_n to_o this_o we_o may_v add_v what_o we_o read_v in_o prov._n 1._o 28._o then_o shall_v they_o call_v upon_o i_o but_o i_o will_v not_o answer_v they_o shall_v seek_v i_o early_o but_o shall_v not_o find_v i_o there_o be_v a_o certain_a measure_n of_o iniquity_n god_n be_v yet_o he_o hear_v nothing_o but_o this_o still_a voice_n if_o thou_o do_v well_o shall_v not_o thou_o be_v accept_v but_o if_o thou_o do_v ill_a sin_n lie_v at_o the_o door_n but_o when_o all_o the_o his_o day_n of_o grace_n expire_v some_o 50_o year_n before_o his_o death_n as_o divine_n compute_v and_o though_o now_o he_o endeavour_v to_o regain_v his_o birthright_n though_o he_o seek_v the_o blessing_n earnest_o and_o with_o tear_n yet_o he_o be_v reject_v there_o be_v no_o place_n find_v for_o repentance_n heb._n 12._o 17._o i_o shall_v add_v but_o one_o instance_n more_o and_o it_o shall_v be_v the_o example_n of_o wicked_a saul_n god_n have_v strive_v with_o saul_n many_o way_n and_o many_o time_n he_o have_v give_v he_o riches_n and_o honour_n yea_o all_o the_o glory_n of_o confess_v to_o the_o witch_n of_o endor_n now_o this_o rejection_n happen_v 36_o year_n before_o he_o die_v according_a to_o iosephus_n chronology_n thus_o god_n do_v withdraw_v the_o assistance_n of_o his_o spirit_n from_o sinner_n long_o before_o they_o die_v in_o their_o life_n time_n he_o deliver_v they_o up_o to_o a_o spirit_n of_o slumber_n and_o of_o giddiness_n he_o harden_v their_o heart_n and_o sear_v their_o conscience_n and_o give_v they_o over_o to_o a_o reprobate_a sense_n and_o since_o these_o thing_n be_v so_o it_o will_v be_v too_o late_o for_o the_o clinic_n of_o the_o age_n to_o repent_v when_o they_o come_v to_o die_v if_o they_o will_v obstinate_o go_v on_o in_o a_o course_n of_o wickedness_n and_o multiply_v their_o transgression_n till_o the_o measure_n of_o their_o iniquity_n be_v full_a than_o they_o be_v beyond_o the_o possibility_n of_o salvation_n they_o have_v then_o forfeit_v the_o assistance_n of_o god_n grace_n without_o which_o it_o be_v impossible_a they_o shall_v repent_v it_o will_v therefore_o be_v safe_a for_o sinner_n to_o follow_v st._n paul_n advice_n to_o day_n if_o you_o will_v hear_v his_o voice_n harden_v not_o your_o heart_n as_o the_o prophet_n exhort_v seek_v the_o lord_n while_o he_o may_v be_v find_v call_v upon_o he_o while_o he_o be_v near_o let_v not_o this_o present_a discourse_n this_o present_a opportunity_n be_v lose_v upon_o you_o for_o as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v now_o be_v the_o accept_a time_n now_o be_v the_o day_n of_o salvation_n begin_v this_o very_a moment_n to_o resolve_v against_o thy_o sin_n come_v this_o day_n to_o the_o holy_a sacrament_n and_o there_o vow_n and_o swear_v that_o thou_o will_v hereafter_o keep_v all_o god_n righteous_a judgement_n i_o shall_v
